Jay Rivera

Barry Levinson is the shit! Please check out either “The Bay” or “Sleepers” . Great stuff. 😊

ZealValHarriah

Pop culture phenomenon. Also check out Lord of War it has Ethan Hawke and Nicholas Cage. Great move.

Shenita

Great reaction you guys and if you like this movie you guys will love what's eating Gilbert grape with Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp excellent movie really You guys really need to see it

Dustin

That's actually a great suggestion. Leo is remarkable in his role.

Lee Stephenson

Ohhh... I needed this folks. Just a good film. I definitely- definitely am gonna enjoy this. And Asia... Kmart sucks lol I don't know I don't remember Kmart. Love to both

Carol Rocha

“ATTENTION! K-MART SHOPPERS….!” K-Mart DID NOT suck 😄 Definitely not..definitely not. It was such a page turner when Charlie realized that Raymond was “Rainman” that came and sang to him when he was little. And heartbreaking 💔 when Charlie realized that they had sent Raymond away bc evidently Charlie had gotten burned, or almost got burned; and Raymond was told “never hurt Charlie Babbitt”, and he whispered it to himself over and over. 😔 & Raymond remembered exactly what day it was and that Charlie was in the window saying “Bye-bye, Rainman”. It just tears your heart out. But then is when the tide began to turn for Charlie. He realized that Raymond was the one who used to soothe him by singing. Wow. That gets to me every time. 😢 I always thought they could’ve wrapped up a little more with a bow, at the end, too Asia. 😊 The performances in this movie, especially by Dustin Hoffman, were phenomenal! So glad you both loved it. 😍

Carol Rocha

Legends of the Fall is an excellent movie. Brad Pitt & Anthony Hopkins. Idk if you’ve done Meet Joe Black. I’ll have to go back & check. Both amazing movies. 🎄🎄Christmas time is comin’! “THE FAMILY STONE” is a MUST WATCH! You will both LOVE it! (Comedy/drama) “THE HOLIDAY” is another excellent movie for Christmas/New Year’s! 😄🎄(comedy/rom-com)

Shenita

Yeah, everybody was awesome in that movie 😄

JBGirlNextDoor

I'm so excited to watch this with you guys hope everyone is well 💛

Jay Rivera

I know this is random but you should do “The Irishman” 🍀 I watch you guys and that flick a lot and sometimes forget you guys haven’t done it. You guys like all the other Scorsese I really think you’ll like it. It’s essentially Scorsese making a movie about the end of the genre. Sorta like he’s saying this is it and I’ve got nothing else to say regarding this genre. You will dig it. Just remember “Casino” and “Goodfellas” you be good 😊

David Croft-Ogawa

Amelie and Billy Elliot are a couple of fun movies. Great reactions as always!

Carisa

Classic! Definitely check out What’s Eating Gilbert Grape!!

Eamonn Locke

Scare-Tober is over, but hopefully we can get a reaction to Candyman in honor of Tony Todd's recent passing. Just sometime in the future, maybe.

girlygirl9983

Such a great movie! Never even heard of it

Keepin it Reel

If you liked this, you'll love Regarding Henry

ALX

Now when u not have a serie to watch recommend Homeland

Dan Gershgol

Great Reaction. I'm happy you got to this.

Jon

I never realized until now that the last scene was shot at the Santa Ana train station near where I live. All the stations in Orange County are some of the coolest buildings we have.

Sometimes

Dustin Hoffman. !!!!!! Little Big Man !!! Great western movie. I saw it at the drive in way back in the day.

Darth Brooks

This was a fantastic reaction! I know Dustin Hoffman has many many A+++ movies but I really would love to see y'all do Hook. Dustin Hoffman, Julia Robert's and Robin Williams great movie.

Josip Buretić

I watched this movie in my early 20s and I know I liked it. But watching the film now that I'm much older, I think the film is even better. Excellent movie P.S I think this movie is main reason why I never liked Tom Cruise he is absolut di*k in this movie 😁😁

Josip Buretić

I just have wrote at one other patreon about this movie. It is one of best Leo performances I love that movie

Josip Buretić

For me personally one of his best performances ever!! Loved that movie

pkleo73

yay! Finally! lol. love it that you guys got to this. It IS a classic. and there are so many pop culture references from tons of movies and tv shows over the years that allude to this flick that youll be able to put together now. hah! But glad you have this one in the books. Im about to hop into it. Peace and love! OK...I didnt read the comments here, so Ill just leave this here...that car in the beginning is one of my most fav cars from when I was a kid. A Lambo Countach (pronounced coon-tash[Tosh]) ..which is an Italian word which is similar to 'wow!' lol. I just looked it up and thats what it had mentioned as to how it got its name. lol. Which I didnt even know until now. I had a few posters of it(as Im sure many did) It might as well have been a girl in a bikini as far as I was concerned. LOL. I did have some of those too. ;) But this is one of the sexiest ladies on wheels <3 btw Asia..the back seat is the engine lol. A V12. Anyways, Im done now. Loved the reaction. another classic in the books. Thnx guys. Kmart sucks

Cynthia M Farrington

That’s the way the character was supposed to be. It’s not a good reason to dislike an actor. He played the role perfectly.

Cynthia M Farrington

Asia and BJ, you missed the photos they showed at the end. Those are the pictures Raymond took during the trip. They show how differently he perceives the world. You can google the ‘Who’s On First’ comedy sketch by Abbot and Costello. It’s not long.

Josip Buretić

Yes he did played very good. And he is great actor but I still don't like him. But I don't think he had sleepless nights because of that 😉

Pink Martini AZ

Great film with great actors. Back then we did not really know about Autism or had even heard of it. Charlie wrote it down correctly but the nurse in the small town was reading it wrong. She thought Charlie wrote it wrong and meant Artistic. Even that doctor was like, “I read about this…”. You are right about Dustin Hoffman Asia. He’s been around and has an amazing acting range. My favorite movies of his are Kramer vs. Kramer and Tootsie.

ChinchillaCrystal

Yes! Please add Tootsie and Kramer vs Kramer to your list.

Kimberly Tyda

I feel like Tom Cruise kind of specializes in playing a di*k. Lol

Stephen Blair

Now go back and watch your "The Hangover" video at 19 minutes :D

KimM

You can't go wrong with any film with Dustin Hoffman and he has a rich film history. Since you like suspense thrillers, be sure to check him out in the movie "Marathon Man" 1976...you'll never want to go to the dentist again! He gives a powerful performance in the prison drama titled "Papillon" 1973 alongside Steve McQueen...based on a true story. Also the political thriller "All the President's Men" 1976 as journalist Carl Bernstein investigating the Watergate scandal alongside Bob Woodward (played by Robert Redford). So many good films he has done.

Matthew Stewart

Great Movie! Sling Blade with Billy Bob Thornton is another good one to check out

Trish Belshe

Me too, man I loved drive ins.

Justin Doggett

Such a classic. Dustin Hoffman is a gem.

Mami's Gatos

For some reason. My mom loved this movie when I was little. Watching it back as an adult, im disgusted with the way tom cruise treats his mentally handicapped brother. Abhorrent character. How that woman fell for him, I couldn't tell ya. I would have to fight him if I were her.

James C

Every now and then we see these movies at the theater for the first time and just know within the first 20 minutes that it’s a “classic”.. The same thing happened with “Schindlers List” and “Rocky” and “Forrest Gump”..and one more honorable mention “Kramer vs’s Kramer… Great reaction Asia & B.J. 👍👍👍👍

CD

Nice! just getting around to watching this one now, perfect for the weekend - it is a classic, haven't seen this one in years:-)

RollingAcres47

A very cool detail about this movie is that an autistic who is good with numbers, you're never going to hear "38 thousand 3 hundred 76." They spit it out like a phone number because that's all they understand. It came out 3-8-3-7-6

RollingAcres47

If I found Rain Man, I'm cleaning him up and buying him a fresh fitted suit and we're going straight to the high rollers' table. You have to look like you belong there.
