We always watch Bad Santa on Thanksgiving. But maybe save that for Christmas

JarHead0351

Dutch is a real good movie that most never even heard

Carol Rocha

“YOU’VE GOT MAIL” begins set in the fall! Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan. Excellent movie IMO. One I can’t believe I didn’t find on the list! It’s a must watch.

Dustin

Adams Family Values (Adams Family 2)

Michele G

The Family Stone & Love actually ! It’s Christmas ones bc I can’t think of a thanksgiving one 😂 sorry I broke the rules !!

Lee Stephenson

Parenthood (1989) just because it’s all about Family and different families finding their way in a comedic spin.

JL Green

I know, that's why I mentioned You Can't Take It With You, but thanks Carol.

Skip

Big rich family all together at the country house for a big meal in the fall? Absolutely.

Stevie Sandoval

Dutch (1991) Ed O' Neil (Al Bundy) Slapstick road movie. It's like Planes, Trains, and automobiles.

Adam

Final destination

pkleo73

Don't have one. And seeing as how I didn't see Planes, Trains and Automobiles for the first time until like 10 years ago, I can't say I watch that one every year either . Lol. I suppose I just skip Thanksgiving and go right into Scrooged 😂

Dana

Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, Son In Law

Sapporo Dragon

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is a must that Thanksgiving!🦃 OK, scratch that, I forgot you already did that one. The only other thing that comes to mind is Adams Family Values or Miracle on 34th St. (starts on Thanksgiving and ends on Christmas) Either version will do, I like them both but always partial to the originals. 🦃🎅🏻👍🏻

the raven

Son in-law or aaddams family values both equally great and funny.

Maggie May

Planes, Trains and Automobiles!

Echo

Addams Family Values- no contest. But you have to have seen The Addams Family first. The first one is not really seasonal, but is sort of a little bit Halloween-adjacent (but not really).

Raven Carey

I’m not sure why I associate this movie with Thanksgiving but I’m gone say “The Wiz”.

Echo

Son In Law is a close 2nd. But if you watch that you'll also want to put Encino Man and Biodome somewhere into your rotation. Which is a *great* jumping off point for more ‎Brendan Fraser, which I am 1000% on board for (Please please please do Blast from the Past). You've already seen The Mummy so you know how good it can be!

bbbfst

"Home For The Holidays" (about going home for Thanksgiving. Not a really well-known film, but funny and an incredible cast ... and directed by Jodi Foster!

Dan Gershgol

Miracle on 34th Street. Original.

Richard

Tower Heist - Eddie Murphy / Ben Stiller

Icylord

Tower Heist

The_Paige_Master

The only one I really know is that new horror one, Thanksgiving and there’s one called Madman I think it’s one of those camp slasher films lol

The_Paige_Master

That’s thanksgiving? I thought that was Christmas. I like that movie. Haven’t seen it in a long time.

JonB

Planes, Trains and Automobiles

Brandon Wheeler

Make sure you add reindeer games for X-MAs!!!!!!!

Darth Brooks

They already have a reaction for that enjoy!

Raider Ron

Planes,Trains and Automobiles.

Raider Ron

Planes,Trains and Automobiles.

Jon

Miracle on 34th Street (1947), starts on Thanksgiving Day and ends on Christmas. This is my mom's favorite. Grew up watching it every Thanksgiving or Black Friday, and I continue the tradition. Some people like the remake (which is in color, of course), but I really prefer Edmund Gwenn's performance as Santa Clause. It's a perfect little movie, IMO.

Pink Martini AZ

Yes!!!! I LOVE this film. Yes it’s about going home for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Skyler Ralf

As others have said, I've gotta put my vote for son in law !

Pink Martini AZ

I can’t believe hardly anyone has mentioned “Home For the Holidays” starring Holly Hunter, Robert Downing Jr, Ann Bancroft, Charles Durning and Steve Guttenburg. It was directed by Jodi Foster. Its sort of has the same feel as “The Family Stone” if you’ve seen that. But it’s all Thanksgiving. I swear it’s pretty spot on for a typical trip home for the holiday.

Pink Martini AZ

Even though Soul Food doesn’t revolve around Thanksgiving, that would still be an awesome movie for the holiday.

Pink Martini AZ

Yes! Home For the Holidays. I love that one.

Venture619

-Dutch (Stars Al Bundy from married with children) -Scent of a Woman (Al Pacino) -Planes trains and automobiles -Son in Law

Jimmie V

Adams Family Values.

David Croft-Ogawa

I threw the same one in without seeing yours first. Yes, that is such a great film!

Lori

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS! Hands down the most touching, well written and acted, and HILARIOUS Thanksgiving movie!

Lori

Those not suggesting "Home For The Holidays", simply haven't seen Home For The Holidays! Sure you could pick Planes, Trains, Automobiles, if you want to do the same thing every other reactor does, year after year. Or do what you guys are great at, NOT playing movies that are played to death. Home For The Holidays is a FANTASTIC film, holidays or not. But it is THE best pick for Thanksgiving!! ✌️💜🎬

Lacy Isenburg

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is my fave, but Home for the Holidays is excellent too! I also LOVE What's Cooking!! All star cast!!!!

s8150f

Scent of a Woman Al Pacino and Chris O'Donnell. It takes place over the Thanksgiving weekend and is a great story about family, redemption and courage. Well worth watching.

Devyn Johnson

Addams Family Values and Son in Law

Carol Rocha

Home for the Holidays is great!

Delia Sewell

The first one that came to mind. Good movie.

Pink Martini AZ

Looks like more people, including you have been listing now. Yay!

Pink Martini AZ

I know right? Even though I will always love Planes, Trains and Automobiles, it’s been done, done, done way too many times. Plus I think they already reacted to it. Home For the Holidays is a fav.

gina brown

home for the holidays is great and dutch, but we always watched friday, we wanted to see if our super religious great nana would even notice, she never did

Russ D

Planes Trains and Automobiles

Sarah

Son in law!!!

Eamonn Locke

Thanksgiving (2023 Horror/Comedy) Tim Dillon makes it even better Miracle on 34th Street (1947 Family/Comedy) Absolute Classic Pieces of April (2003 Drama/Comedy) Katie Holmes as Black Sheep Krisha (2015 Drama) Very Heavy Family Drama Silver Linings Playbook (2012 Comedy/Drama/Romance) Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence kill their roles.

Kung-Fubar

I know y'all will never watch this one, but Thankskilling is mandatory Thanksgiving viewing in our house. It's a cult/B-movie about a demonic turkey that slaughters college kids during Thanksgiving break. It's pretty fowl. 😉

Kung-Fubar

I didn't think anyone else had seen this movie! Thankskilling and Crackula are two movies we watch every Thanksgiving. 😃

fire12wife

Miracle on 34th Street (1994) is my favorite Thanksgiving/Christmas movie! I know most people love the original and won't watch the 1994 version, but what most people don't know about the 1994 version is that it's a John Hughes movie... and so is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation! I would LOVE for you to react to the 1994 version... it has Dylan McDermot, Elizabeth Perkins, and Mara Wilson, the girl from Matilda (1996)! I promise you will LOVE it!

Jerseytimes

What’s Cooking - Four families in LA of different ethnicity (Latino, Asian/Vietnamese, African and Jewish) gather together for Thanksgiving dinner. TRAILER IT!!

Stacey

One of my favorite comedies of all time!

Stacey

My family used to watch Home for the Holidays together every Thanksgiving. Such a great movie and everyone looked forward to watching it again. 💜

Mike Luker

Asia and bj have not seen matilda

fire12wife

Should definitely put that on the list!

fire12wife

One of my all-time favorites!

Annette

The Family Stone wonderful movie

Annette

I love that movie so much never ever gets boring always emotional.

Stacey

I love RDJ and his character in Home for the Holidays

KimM

We decided to watch an Eli Roth movie on Thanksgiving, called "Thanksgiving" 2023. If you like slasher, dice and slice movies, then this one has it and some things I never want to see again!!!!!! The beginning is quite disturbing considering today is Black Friday and some stores do open Black Friday Eve!

JL Green

Oh no! I nearly forgot "Addams Family Values " full stop.

Deborah Lewis

PLANES, TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES 🦃
