Matthew Choe

If yall liked this one, you gotta check out shrek 2! The sequel is one of the best cinematic experiences to this day, DreamWorks was killin it those days.

AussieJojo

Well you two are the best frogs l’ve ever seen.

Dan Gonya

There are a lot of dirty jokes that aren't even visible. For instance, Lord Farquaad and why he is named that. Well, being that this is a DreamWorks animated movie, it was quite rightly assumed that many many children of differing ages would be able to see it. Now, young children most notably have trouble with many "R" sounds, and the studio knew this. So ask yourself how a 3 or 4 year old might pronounce Farquaad? "Fahwkwad" perhaps? So it was a literal conceptualized joke to have kids running yelling about Lord Fuckwad. This movie was not far from a hard R for many reasons. This is The only one I was sure about.

Dan Gonya

No Asia, you were right the first time about what Shrek thought Farquaad was compensating for...he doesn't know anything about Farquaad or his height. See this is the kinda thing I was talking about with my other post. There's another scene where Farquaad is in bed shirtless with the sheets pulled up around him and tells the magic mirror to show him Fiona again or whoever, and with a grimaced face, the magic mirror complies as you start to see Farquaad move his hand under the sheets...to s of dirty jokes, I'm tellin' ya. 😂

Dan Gonya

"wipe your...face."😏

Darth Brooks

“Dr. Evil, let me make you a deal alright? You keep the mojo, you keep the money. And I'll get your baby [smacks lips] Come here I'm going to eat you. I'm bigger than you, I'm higher on the food chain. Get in my belly!” -Shrek... probably.... I can't wait to dive in been a long time since I've watched good ol Shrek. I hope everyone had a great weekend✌❤ fam!

Keepin it Reel

Just to mess with y'all, the voice of Lord Farquad is the trinity killer in Dexter!!

Chrissy

I loved watching this again with you guys. I hope you consider watching more Shrek in the future!

Keepin it Reel

I really need y'all to react to Wall-E now that y'all are doing animated movies. It's the sweetest damn movie ever!!!

Zima Roo

The Scottish will be coming for you both 😂😂😂

Lewsifer

I wish u guys could've watch Shrek karaoke dance party it was a bonus from the DVD

Dan Gershgol

This movie was written by people who used to work for Disney. They were intentionally making fun of Disney.

Dan Gonya

Donkey's name is... Donkey. 😂

Von

Shrek is Dream Works/Universal. Incredibles IS Disney/Pixar.

Surya

If you are reacting to animated movies, I recommend Rango, the most underrated banger of them all

Dan Gonya

Fiona was cursed to become an ogre at night. Being that an ogre, Shrek, rescued her and they fell in love, I believe that's the only reason she remained and ogre. Had another dashing Prince come along and they had fallen in love with each other, true love's kiss would have made her into what she was during the daytime. That's simply what I've always assumed anyway.

Michele G

😂😂😂😂

GenericStatue

Rango is ironically a really good Western too lol

GenericStatue

Y'all gotta watch Shrek 2, one of the greatest movies ever made.

Von

We need a Pixar/Disney poll. I'd love a Coco reaction.

Donna Bannister

This was fun!!! Enjoyed watching this with y'all. Loveee movies with great stories & music!!🎶💯🎶 This had me singing and dancing too.. 💃🎤💃❤️❤️TY!!!

Kevin

Wreck it Ralph next!

DarkWingD

ALYSSA RIVERA

If you guys watch Shrek 2, there’s a surprise during the end credits 😊

Julissa Vargas

Shrek is not Disney it’s part of Dreamworks

Jennis Davis

Sherk 2 in the near future please!

Fervent Fox

1 Shrek movie is more than enough

CD

Sooooo excited to watch this one- Eddie Murphy playing Donkey is hands down my fav animated character of all time. Great reaction, so much fun watching this one again! Literally laughing out loud!! "How you gonna bully the mirror on the wall" and "not the gingerbread man!!" LOL

David Croft-Ogawa

This was fun watching this with y’all! A fun musical that incorporates fairy tales is, Into the Woods. It has really great songs, and one in particular performed by Meryl Streep is fantastic!

Karl Kraus

Not only do you need to follow up with Incredibles 2, you need to see Shrek 2, which is 10 times as better as the first The rest aren't as good but that's my humble opinion

Karl Kraus

Shrek was the movie responsible for two things: 1. it began to draw attention to the 3D animated medium that would soon become popular as the 2000s rolled along and further into the future, thereby triggering the decline of 2D animation that Disney was still trying to make money over 2. It was the first movie to win the Oscar for animated feature, bringing the recognition it finally deserves to the masses Overall, a pretty special movie for many reasons

Karl Kraus

Did you two notice the two 'S's in the opening Dreamworks logo turn green and get ogre ears? A little in-joke from the filmmakers as well as promotional material

Kung-Fubar

Shrek is good but Shrek 2 is a hundred times better!

Nicole

It won't play for me 😭 your other videos work

Bel

Hey, if you guys liked the movie, you should watch Shrek the Musical, they have it on youtube and was a broadway production! It's really good. Edit: Also, Princess Fiona was the princess in the book at the beginning of the movie that Shrek was reading in his outhouse.

Jon Jon

idk if you need to see all the shrek movies but 1 and 2 are definitely classic movies

Jesse McAdams

Asia's face said "I'm confused" 115% of the time.

Pam

Really enjoyed. You should definitely check out the next one, Shrek 2. I enjoyed that one even more than the 1st movie.

Kelsey Perez

How Asia survives every sketchy situation: "nuh uh, I'm not doing that!"

StwBryFld SL

I was 10 yo and already watching SNL when I was determined to marry Mike Myers. Wayne's World came out in 1992. 1997 was Austin Powers but it was the sequel in 1999 that you all would have heard his "Shrek" voice through his Fat Bastard character. Mike's mother was born and raised in Scotland so what we all hear is him emulating his mother's accent! LOL

Richard Zinns

The accent was Scottish, not Irish. There's a good amount of satire of Disney in this movie, like the information display that's a parody of It's a Small World, or Fiona's song that makes the bird explode. But there's a lot more wide-ranging satire in the second movie, which I really hope you will see. The name Shrek, by the way, is presumably derived from the identically pronounced German word schreck, which means terror. Your kiss during the outro was so sweet, although clearly neither of you was ever a frog - speaking of which, the only instance I know where a fairy tale princess turns into something at night is the Russian princess Vasilisa, who is enchanted by Kaschchei the Deathless to turn into a frog at night. I think this is pretty certainly the inspiration for Swan Lake, where the very Kaschchei-like sorcerer Von Rothbart causes Princess Odette to take the form of a swan at night.

Carol Rocha

My grandkids used to LOVE this movie ❤️ I hadn’t seen it in years! Thanks, guys! ☺️

Melina Vask

Omg when are we getting shrek 2? I cant wait!

Kristy Cantu

The name Farquaad clever way of referencing him as Fu** wad

Cody Jado

shrek 2 is my fav one!!!!

Amanda Renee

If you're ever interested in watching a show about fairytales, I highly recommend watching "Once Upon a Time." It's a unique twist on the stories we know.

Will Hanson

you guys giving each other a kiss at the end is amazing. enjoyed your reaction! #theblindturtle 😂

steve ehrman

i absolutely LOVE Once Upon a Time!! They did an amazing job with it
