The only real contrivances in this movie is when you consider how large NYC is, and yet, Kevin and the Sticky bandits keep crossing paths....the odds are astronomical practically. Don't get me wrong, I love this movie, it just relies a little heavily on coincidence.

I really hope that you two get to watch a Christmas Carol before Christmas. It’s my favorite Christmas story and I have about 10 different versions on DVD. My favorite is the version with Alistair Sim but if you want a more updated version, you can watch the version with Patrick Stewart, or even the Disney version with Jim Carrey.

the gangster movies that Kevin watches aren't real they were made just for this series They're movies-within-movies, Angels with Filthy Souls and Angels with Even Filthier Souls Although the guy who plays Johnny the mob boss is a real actor, who might've been in some real gangster flicks in his day, i don't really know

Dondor or Donner both translate to thunder in German but Dondor (silent d) and Bliksem is the Dutch pronunciation that translates to Thunder and Lightning. Just to add a bit more to Asia's fun fact lol.
