There it is! I know what I'm watching in about an hour. Thanks for the upload and spreading many family's Christmas tradition this year. I hope everyone has a great Christmas morning, Merry Christmas to all and to all a great reaction✌❤🎅🤶🎄 fam!

Darth Brooks

Merry Christmas Asia, BJ, the little ones and the puppers. Hope everyone gets what they asked for from Santa!

Sapporo Dragon

Can’t believe it took you this long to watch this one. It is literally on right now for 24 hours on TBS and TNT. A Christmas Story is an absolute must every Christmas! Now I know I’m probably gonna get some heat for this, but I am going to recommend that you watch a Christmas Story 2. In spite of what the critics say, I absolutely love that movie also! Merry Christmas guys!!!🎅🏻🎄🎁🎉🥂

N M

Is this a true ‘first time’ watch? That would be amazing.

Rio Mendoza

Merry Christmas everyone. Have a wonderful time with your loved ones.

Renee S

Well, this is a nice Christmas present :) I'd jump on it right away if it wasn't so late, but us old folks need to hit the sack, even those of us who are night owls, but I'll be watching first thing Christmas Day. Hope you enjoyed this classic!

astrobuckshot

Merry Christmas, Asia & BJ 🎄 ❤️ This is my favorite Christmas movie, thank you so much!

Mezz015

I hope The Santa Clause is the next movie they watch

Aaron

The movie was set in the 40s or 50s, I do believe. They didn't have a TV. They only had radio programs that they listened to with the big radio in the living room. Also, Merry Christmas!!

Darth Brooks

Me sitting here watching this drinking a hot mug of Ovaltine. Still out there BJ about 5 bucks for a big container at walmart, the blue label is the best not a fan of the orange label which is malt.

Dana

I'm so excited for this reaction! Merry Holidays to Asia & BJ and the A&BJ fam!

Brian M.

It's supposed to be kind of ambiguous, but the story is set around 1939. LOL, I don't remember my kitchen looking like that growing up in the 70's and 80's, nor "watching" the radio. Merry Christmas everyone.

Lee Stephenson

Oh A Christmas Story! It warms my heart. Good movie and I hope you's liked it!! Merry Christmas to everyone here and especially Asia and Bj!! I hope its filled with warmth, laughter, hugs and cheer. This Christmas Lee has an extra warm heart and the two of you are a part of that. Much Love and Thanks for the great content- My friends.

We just clicked to watch!!! Wanted to go ahead and wish a Merry Christmas to Everyone! Hope you all have a blessed and wonderful day!!!!

Ms Vanillabean

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to those who celebrate! 🎉

Joshua Coe

Glad you enjoyed it Asia!

Karl Kraus

Merry Christmas everyone! Asia, the Lone Ranger was a serial radio show from the 30s and it didn't become a TV show until much later

JBGirlNextDoor

I got quite teary-eyed watching Asia experience the red Rider Christmas scene for the first time.... I wish all kids got to experience a moment like that. Merry Christmas everyone especially those celebrating alone 🎄💜🐾

Karl Kraus

The leg lamp was in tribute to the company Nehi (knee-high, get it?), which made flavored bottled soda back in the 30s-50s An unorthodox major award to be sure lol

Jonathan D

Beautiful reaction! Merry Christmas to BJ & Asia!!!

Mary Merry Berry

Oh I had been hoping for this movie this year, but as we got closer to Christmas I thought maybe next year…then just when I thought it was too late I got my notification! Just like Ralphie on Christmas morning! I used to have an ornament of the leg lamp in the crate and when you opened it you would hear the dad say “Fra-Gee-Lay” 😂

Karl Kraus

This was set in the period of the late 30s and early 40s There were some clues to point this out One, the Wizard of Oz was featured during Higbee's parade and even inside the store (Ralphie being bugged by the witch and the kid saying he likes the tin man) Two, at the movie's start, you can see the outline of Snow White in the background among all the toys and models the kids were drooling over Three, there were only radios for entertainment If you noticed, there was no TV inside the house And of course, there were the vehicles The fire department truck and the police cars were dead giveaways about when this movie was set; no way that there were city vehicles like THOSE in the 60s or 70s lol

Deborah Lewis

When we moved from MA to Ks, movers lost our stuff, we lived in LA Quinta 5weeks, got here Christmas day...only restaurant open was chinese; so yeah we sang" falalala"🎄🤣🤣

Casey Salley

Asia, Ovaltine was the best chocolate milk mix ever. It’s still made to this day. You should try it!

Mike Martinez

My daughter went to a Christmas party this year, and won a “Leg Lamp” night light — Cheers

Dan Gonya

Mashed potatoes and meatloaf is one of the most comforting meals I can think of...right up there with biscuits and gravy, chicken and dumplings, and home made Mac and cheese. I would move south if it weren't for the darn heat. 😂 Okay, back to Christmas!

Dan Gonya

I always had the hardest time falling asleep on Christmas Eve. I was too excited, especially back when I was like 6 and Santa was still visiting my house. But I was never a peeker or one to shake presents or anything like that. One year my mom hid all the presents in the downstairs bathroom and just told my brother and me that the bathroom was broken, and we never questioned it in the slightest. Meanwhile my younger, girl cousins were figuring out that Santa used the same wrapping paper as her parents did...us boys were dumb. 🤣

Cynthia M Farrington

The leg lamp is now a thing you can buy. It’s made as a tribute to this hilarious story. This is also a play. I have seen it in a couple of different theaters.

Dan Gonya

Great reaction guys! Merry Christmas!

For some reason I thought you had already reacted to this. One of my all time favs! When it first released it was a flop. It slowly over the years became a cult classic. Then some years ago TNT/TBS played it every year and then not long after, started doing the 24/7 marathons of it on Christmas. So it has become super popular over the years. I died when you said you thought the cars were from the 70’s. The movie was made in the 80’s but The cars and the story took place in the 1940’s. Think Dazed and Confused movie for cars in the 70’s. Hope you and your family had a super nice Christmas! Love what you do. You are so much fun.

Cynthia M Farrington

I thoroughly enjoyed this reaction video. What a treat to see your faces at the best parts. There are so many great moments. I love the way it is narrated by the man about his childhood in Indiana, although I believe it was fictional. He most likely drew on his and others’ experiences.

Sometimes

Does TBS still show this all day on Christmas? I missed it this year.

Dan Gershgol

My friend has a leg lamp. Great reaction.

PatsyAnn

Loved your reaction to this movie. It’s definitely a classic. I was in the sixth grade when this movie came out. There was a boy in my class who had a BB gun and he honest to God shot his eye out with it! He ended up having to get a glass eye! I’ll never forget it and every Christmas when this movie is played I remember the boy I knew who actually shot his eye out with a BB gun.

Richard Zinns

60s or 70s? This movie is set in 1940 - back when nobody had televisions and kids were listening to Little Orphan Annie on the radio. By the way, the story that Little Orphan Annie decoder rings yielded secret messages that were Ovaltine commercials is apparently widespread, but not true. I understand that an awful lot of the airtime on that show was devoted to Ovaltine ads, but that the secret messages were basically teasers for what would happen in the next episode. I loved the use of the wolf music from Peter and the Wolf for the scenes with the bully. And for my next Christmas, I want a leg lamp and a pink bunny costume. Loved your reaction as always.

nick helm

You guys should also watch The Dirt Bike Kid. It came out two years after this. It also has Peter Billingsley aka Ralphie.

Tiffany Payne

The actress' reaction at end was genuine. She did t know about the food, duck

BRT

I got those watery eyes too.... The gifts that were and are most special are those that let me know the giver really knows me. No need to be expensive to be special.
