You're right in remembering the exterior island scenes were filmed in Hawaii and to be more specifc, Oahu (except the part in the rain, that was a soundstage) The wide open valley has been seen in other tv and movies over the years I'm guessing it's a very popular on-location spot

The first Jurassic Park is the best then I would say 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park' is second. 'Jurassic World' is third runner up. You all should continue with the Jurassic Park/World franchise in preparation for 'Jurassic World Rebirth.'

The next 2 aren't as good but it gets better after that. Definitely worth watching the rest. You should continue the Mission Impossible franchise. They get better. Cruise actually does his own stunts and it's insane was he does. He broke his leg in one of them jumping from roof to roof.

Actually the dinosaur with the big claw was called 'Deinonychus' but they thought 'Velociraptor' (another dino) sounded cooler and scarier. I'm actually animating deinonychus in a new dino movie at the moment, I animated on Jurassic world 2 as well. They're fun to animate.

When they said there is no breading in Jurassic Park because they're all female. Malcom said "life finds away" which they had a subtle foreshadowed moment in the beginning helicopter landing, when he couldn't buckle up with two female ends of a seatbelt, so he ties it together, "life" finding away

I saw this as a child in the drive-thru with my family. It terrified me to the point that I had a nightmare that the Dinosaurs were coming through the wall by my bed, lol.

They filmed on the island of Kauai and Oahu. Island Helicopters Kauai: This helicopter tour includes a landing at Manawaiopuna Falls, also known as "Jurassic Falls," where scenes from the movie were filmed. The tour includes the Grand Skies Island Tour plus a landing at the falls for about 75-80 minutes total.

Other than maybe the Brachiosaurus in daylight, all the special effects are perfect. I wonder where they got that T-Rex so they could film it crushing the Jeeps. Because that thing was real and you cannot convince me otherwise.

Great reaction guys. I hadn’t seen this movie in a long time either, but I was an adult when it came out. In our theater people cheered when the lawyer got it and laughed about the side view mirror because that WAS written on them. (Objects in the mirror may be closer than they appear)

One of the greatest movies I've ever seen in theaters! This movie changed everything in the film industry. Maybe only 7x I was completely lost for words seeing a movie on the big screen. I'd say The Matrix, Saving Private Ryan, Avatar, Mad Max Fury-Road, Top Gun-Maverick, Dune 2, and Jurassic Park. Kids these days will never know how big the orginal Jurassic Park was

The helicopter fly in scene was filmed in the island of Kaui on the Na Pali coast. Most of park scenes was filmed O‘ahu. I've been to Kualoa Ranch in O'ahu 14yrs ago. It's where they shot "They're flocking this way" scene. Also filmed some Lost episodes, 50 First Dates & Kong Skull Island scenes at the same spot. I've unfortunately never been to the Kaui island. My older brother has that one on me

Idk if you guys saw, but this year scientists brought back the Dire Wolf. Yes, the Dire Wolf from Game of Thrones thats been extinct for 10,000yrs. Now they're working on the Woolly Mammoth. One thing Jurassic Park taught us, is u should never play God

My mom was a daycare provider and she took all of us kids to see this movie in the theater. I was 7 years old. The T-Rex attack scene scared me so much that I quietly got up and walked out of the theater and went to the arcade room. My mom realized I was gone and found me within 10 minutes.

this was the very first movie I ever saw in a theater. My dad and older sister and I. I was 9. And even though I had recurring nightmares about velociraptors with glowing red eyes breaking into our house for WEEKS!!!! I didn't care...It was my favorite movie. I can't wait to watch this with y'all. The first two are my favorites.

My favorite shot in this movie is the scene where Dr grant uses the flare to get the T Rex's attention, and the dinosaur roars showing the lighting from the flare in its mouth, I have always loved that scene.. I dunno why.

I went to Kauaʻi , saw what was left of the Jurassic park gates, 2 poles .. apparently someone stole the actual sign from overhead, reckon airlifted by helicopter overnight.. quite a trek to get to along the crumbling road built for the film.. also went to the amber museum in Dominican Republic, they have the actual piece of amber used in the film..
