One of my favorites 😍😍😍

Eamonn Locke

Great pick! R.I.P. Val Kilmer.

Steve Chase

Great pic guys but if you're going to do Thunderheart there is another great one called Wind River.

Eamonn Locke

Wind River is on it’s way.

Sterling Mallory

great movie. no one ever reacts to this. im stoked to watch it with you

Heather

Can any ultimate vip member tell me how to put in my movie request. I direct messaged them, but got no response. Can anyone help

Eamonn Locke

I wasn’t sure at first either, but Asia or BJ will respond to your direct message within a day or two.

Teri

Catching it now guys. I saw this at the movies back in the early 90's, I guess. Have not seeing it since. Let's see what you guys think. Right r.i.p. Val, he loved acting. Did you catch his Netflix documentary titled "Val"? His son narrates because Val lost the ability to talk due to his tracheotomy. He had cancer in the throat or mouth at one time.

Jay Davis

I still have to place Spartan (2004) at the top of the list for this genre of Val Kilmer's. (Possibly because I love everything David Mamet ever touched. The Verdict, The Untouchables, Homicide, Glengarry Glen Ross, Hoffa, Wag the Dog, Ronin, Redbelt, etc.) But Thunderheart goes HARD! Great Val Kilmer pick.

Darth Brooks

Fantastic movie thanks VIP!!!

Teri

Asia and BJ make note a good movie: "Wind Talkers", starring Nicolas Cage based on a true story about Navajo soldiers that helped the U.S. during WORLD WAR II where they used their language in place of code language so the Japanese (U.S. enemies at that time) could not spy and know what our military's next move would be.

Teri

The Native American cop (the actor Graham Green), also played "Kicking Bird" in movie: Dances With Wolves, starring Kevin Costner

Good movie. Nice choice. I’ve been to the Sioux reservation once. Very humbling experience and fascinating people. Much respect

Kristy Cantu

Thank you. RIP Val this is one of my favorites of you

Heather

Thank you. I appreciate you letting me know.

captkeebz

I'd never seen that. Good one for Val.

Robert Durant

He was also one of John McClane’s fellow detectives in Die Hard With A Vengeance

Carol Rocha

Oh my gosh!!!!! You really cannot imagine how this has given me the shot in the arm I needed to get through the day! I just love this movie! I’m up really early for a LONG day of drs appointments. Thank you fam! Love you Asia & BJ!!❤️ And SO much thanks to the U VIP! 👏🏼

FYI: Graham Greene (the tribal policeman they first came in contact with) was the 1st prisoner executed in The Green Mile. 😊

JBGirlNextDoor

This just became one of my favorite movies 🌄

jami hicks

That movie was fantastic. I find it cool that he used “they aren’t my people” twice. First against the Indians & then after his discovery against the whites. Nice call back. 🙌

Dan Gershgol

I live 30 minutes away from fond du lac reservation. There is not much there at all. Great movie. Never heard of it.

JoeConfidence

Plus he was in Die hard with a Vengeance, and Dances with wolves.

They were not the Union soldiers against Natives at wounded Knee, they were the 7th cavalry. And thats koo you both Native blood flowing through your veins. Remember we never surrender but fight to preserve life. So your kiddos have that native blood pumping through their veins as well. Awesome. What Tribe are 2 you from? You probably don't have enough blood to enroll but you know what, its still part of your blood. Ah man, this was a good flick for sure. I missed the last lottery because I go to church around that same time and sometimes I forget to set up an alarm for it. But I have a few I would like to throw into the hat which is, Ip Man, balls of fury and for the native side of films is Little Big Man. I'll have to remember next time for that contest. I look forward to the next film. So far your VIPs are suggesting some great films, they got good taste. Thumbs up to them. And don't say indians, a misconception back when columbus was looking for india and he thought he found it and started calling us indians. Native Americans, just like you Asia and BJ. Ya'll gotta come through for the gathering of nations one time. I'll explain the dancers that are out there and as far as I'm concerned your visions will guide you there, Jk but for real, check it out. All tribes arrive there and you'll be welcomed like Columbus once wrote, saying when he landed he never seen such peaceful people before, especially when they sailed to escape persecution. "some historians believe Christopher Columbus may have sailed to the New World to avoid persecution or to find a safe haven for people of Jewish descent, particularly in light of the Spanish Inquisition and the expulsion of Jews from Spain." Now Asia and BJ we fought off the vikings and the spanards when they first landed. The US has a dark History.

If you want to have a dirt-cheap vacation, then come to South Dakota! Beautiful rolling hills and beautiful badlands and the beautiful bison....and of course to listen to the wind!
