Dogma!! 👍

Sapporo Dragon

Can’t really suggest any of these either. I used to be a big fan of Kevin Smith until he ruined the franchise with Clerks 3. 🤦🏻‍♂️

FooDawg37

Start with Clerks, then run through the View Askew series. Mallrats Chasing Amy Dogma Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back Clerks II Jay and Silent Bob Reboot Clerks III

Real Geeker

Trainspotting please also Death Proof and once upon a time in Hollywood.

Sean Gosser

Clerks and Dogma the whole Kevin Smith library is great!!!!

MacGuffinStuff

Never seen Cube, but I love every other movie on this poll, voting Clerks because it's just good 90s indie low budget awesomeness and I love Kevin Smith.

Rebecca Karsner

They have done Once Upon a Time in Hollywood already. 😁

Reggie Riobe

Natural Born Killers is a hell of a ride lol

LSTER

Why is trainspotting so far down ☹️

asiaandbj

We have… it’s a good ways down though… I’ll see if I can find it for you… ☺️

asiaandbj

Oof! Did he ruin it with that one movie or are the others not worth watching?

Real Geeker

Oh ok yeah I must have missed it please link it to me and my apologies to original replier .

asiaandbj

No worries… it was posted 8/16/24. I’m just noticing we never posted it on YouTube either so I will get that one put in rotation for editing in case you prefer to watch it there.

Nat B

Honestly yall should watch every single one of these

Sapporo Dragon

OK, maybe I shouldn’t have said anything because I don’t want to spoil it for you. Let’s just say the last one was a huge disappointment for me as big a fan as I was. But if you were going to watch them in chronological order, you need to watch Mallrats first before you watch Clerks, even though Mallrats came out second. so the correct order would be… Mallrats (which takes place the day before Clerks) Clerks (which was done in black-and-white because this was his first independent film.) Chasing Amy Dogma Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back Clerk II (my favorite movie) Jay and Silent Bob reboot Clerks 3

gina brown

i love trainspotting the movie and the soundtrack, first time intro to johnny lee miller and robert carlyle, who i've loved everything they have ever been in

Sapporo Dragon

Also, Kevin Smith pushes the limits on all fronts in these movies which might be offensive to some people. Just figured I would throw that in so you weren’t caught off guard.😆

Martyn Dawson

How the hell is Trainspotting joint last? 🤦🏻‍♂️😞

Rainz

Cube is a sci-fi classic really good movie.

Isaiah

Clerks is choice

Paul

Troops yer missing an experience no going for Trainspotting (you would need subtitles as it’s Scottish tbf) but one of the most cinematic and wild films ever made! Anyway….. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Director is a legend as well!

Phoenix

Wow...haven't seen Cube for yesterday! Great film.

MiM

I'm not feeling any of these movies on this poll.

Echo

I was going to vote for Dogma #1 fav View Askew), but then I realized that you’re more likely to watch both if you watch Clerks first- and Chasing Amy is my 2nd favorite. Plus, I really don’t want to watch Natural Born Killers again. 🫣

Jon Jon

between clerks and natural born killers this was a hard choice

Bmac Tattoo

Been waiting for you guys to watch Natural Born Killers!!!! A crazyyyyyy love story..... Clerks after NBK.

Midnight Hour

If Clerks wins then I'm OUT....only Gen X ID10T's like that movie so get out the MEDS cause you DON'T have to pay attention. Oliver Stone vs Kevin Smith? Give me a break on the BRAIN DEAD of movie choices.

Casey Salley

Sorry, not a fan of any of these

Carol Rocha

Can’t choose any of these. It’d be wrong. 😑

Saraka Smith

Everyone one has their own opinion. It’s subjective on what is and is not a good movie. I’ll watch you react to whichever movie wins :). That being said, I hope it Trainspotting (which clearly it wont be) lol NBK , Big Trouble in Little China,or Labyrinth

Stacey

This is a stacked poll. I think all of these movies would get decent reaction views from subscribers.

Jay Rivera

Natural born killlaaaaaa

Darth Brooks

He didn't ruin it and I've been a fan of Kevin Smith since Clerks came out. Clerks 3 is actually one of his highest rated movies in the Askewniverse since Clerks. Would I say it's my top favorite of Smith's no, but did he ruin the franchise or is it a bad film? Most definitely not. He has also done some really good movies outside of the Jay and Silent Bob universe which are what Carl listed. Red State is another great thriller/horror movie and Zack and Miri make a Porno is hilarious (up there with 40 Year Old Virgin) then you have his horror movie Tusk which is pretty out there.

Toni T.

It's violent yes but Juliette and Woody's performances are unparalleled.

Eamonn Locke

These polls are tough. I've seen and like all of them, but I'd go with Clerks because it's hilarious and Kevin Smith is a fellow NJ native. 12 Monkeys is a close second and another Dystopian/Sci-Fi classic.

David 492

Two Attempts... "Natural Born Killers" 1st attempt I walked around zombiefied until returned for 2nd attempt; then walked around feeling like I should off someone (until next day) // In line for the late showing watching the faces of people leaving the early show was intense!!! //

David 492

Re Natural Born Killers. I'm with you, although interested seeing Asia and BJ faces on this one

David 492

I lived those days of daily trash tabloid news; that movie was right for its time in the 90's. Took me a few days to equalize again after watching it in the theatre. Great movie... in that it made everyone feel something. Although mostly psycho and or angry :(

Echo

The only one on here that I won’t rewatch if they do it is Trainspotting. That legit gave me nightmares for years.

Todd Rush

I find Cube to be unintentionally funny. It’s a really interesting premise - and the movie is entertaining; I’ve watched it probably 20 times - but it has some of the worst, most over-the-top acting ever. It’s hard to watch and take the characters seriously. You don’t believe them for a second. Still that’s the one that I’d rather see a reaction to than any of the others (although any of the others would be great).

skz

Absolutely horrendous take

Sapporo Dragon

I lived at Darth. I would rather not watch it on the screen. Just because Kevin Smith had a heart attack in real life didn’t mean that he had to do what he did to the franchise. And as for Dante, he wasn’t even supposed to be there today.😆🤦🏻‍♂️

Matt

Dogma is in theaters again this week only, Kevin Smith (Silent Bob from clerks) just recently regained the rights to this movie, it hasnt been sold in like 20 years.
