Andi Szilagyi

I think this is only like the third time I've actually gasped with glee when I saw a movie/show posted! Can't wait to watch.

Rebecca Karsner

Omg this is so awesome!! Especially considering "I'm not even supposed to be here today"!!! Lol 😝

Darth Brooks

Niiiice I assure you I'm excited! Hope everyone has had a great week so far happy hump day enjoy the reaction!

Lewsifer

It's bout time u enter into my favorite universe (the jay and silent bob universe) Mallrats(1995) is the next in the lineup

kOLa

So we can forget about Fury ?

J B

this whole clerks jay and silent bob movie universe is the best

Rebecca Karsner

They said they will still probably do it sometime down the line here!! I'm sure we will get it someday!! 😁

Lewsifer

Randel is definitely my spirit animal

MertzRocks

animal, vegetable or mineral? 🤔😏🤣😜 🤘😎🎸

MertzRocks

❤️ @ about 2 minutes but... Aww Asia, whatever happened to, "Stand by your man"?? Really you gonna do like that? 😜 LOL

Violet

I hope y'all watch the second one!! A completely different vibe but so much more enjoyable!!

Darth Brooks

You every listen to the Tell Em Steve Dave podcast? Randal is based off Bryan Johnson one of the hosts alongside Walt who played the egg man and other characters and Q from Impractical Jokers. I've been listening for over a decade daily great pod.

Daniel

My all time favorite movie! Ive been waiting for this upload! Hope you guys watch Mallrats too! Thanks guys!

Zedarion

Got a good surprise when i saw you posted this reaction. Clerks is awesome, but i like Clerks 2 a little bit more.

Abby

I’m so curious how you feel about the rest… chasing Amy etc.

Jesse McAdams

Kevin Smith (who made the movie) worked at the store during the filming. The gate was closed because he filmed it at night. Made it for less than $30k. He was also Silent Bob (trench coat guy outside).

Dan Gonya

this is fantastic, I don't think I've ever seen you guys laugh this hard at anything! There is a whole collection of Kevin Smith movies. Can't wait to see the other reactions! 🤣

Daniel

I love everything Kevin Smith has done. Even his new stuff people like to talk bad about lol I like some more than others, but I always enjoy the stuff he makes.

Rebecca Karsner

Great reaction guys!!! Hope to see more Kevin Smith films!! Jay and Silent Bob are a trip! This was a pretty successful indie film for it's time. It was made on a budget of 27,000 dollars and grossed 4 million in theaters! Talk about a come up!! Thanks for reacting to this!! Can't wait for the next movie drop!! 😁✌️

Dan Gonya

Okay, hopefully this will help you guys out. The order to watch the Kevin Smith (AKA, Silent Bob) ViewAskiewniverse movies is: Clerks Mallrats Chasing Amy Dogma Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back An Evening with Kevin Smith (not essential but it's hilarious) Clerks 2...from there I've got to do more research cuz that's as far as my fandom knowledge goes cuz there was a huge break in time where Kevin Smith just basically did a bunch of Q&As, then started smoking weed, then started podcasting for like 10 years or something. But this will obviously keep you guys busy for a while.

Sarah

This was great! Gotta watch the others too!

Elizabeth DeMerie

Natural born killers one of Tarantinos first screen plays would be a great watch!

Dan Gonya

Clerks 2 is the objectively better film.

Rebecca Karsner

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot and Clerks 3 would go after your list! And possibly throw in Jersey Girl. George Carlin is the GOAT!

Bayseal

The store is actually still open, Kevin Smith owns it now plus the movie theatre in my town. He’s does screenings with fans all the time there.

pkleo73

ok now you have to watch the rest of these movies to the tune of one a week. lol. so you dont forget the people and characters. There will be some of the same people playing different characters. And some of the storyline from this sort of bleeds through references made elsewhere. So glad youre finally part of this 'Club' . Im from NJ. that place is like an hour from me. Ive never been there though. Im an hour from NYC as well. Not like that matters. :D

kOLa

''probably' ''sometimes" "someday"😁

Sapporo Dragon

Asia’s face in the opening credits😆 I told you, Kevin Smith was kind of raunchy. I think you will enjoy Clerks 2 better but as I stated before, I am not a fan of Clerks 3. Oh, and the first one was an independent film, which is why it is in black-and-white. The next movie you need to watch if you are going to watch them in order is Mallrats which takes place the day before Clerks.

Sapporo Dragon

So the reason the shutters were closed all day was because Kevin Smith worked in the store during the day and then filmed it at night when the store was closed. I actually went to the store when I was in New Jersey.

Ryan Martin

Don’t think I’ve ever seen you two laugh so hard 😂 . Fun watch!

Jon Jon

now yall need to watch clerks 2 and jay and silent bob strikes back

Darth Brooks

Walt Flanagan mentioned, Tell Em Steve Dave lmao! Love the reaction can't wait to see more from Kevin Smith!

Shenita

Awesome reaction* The girl that played Caitlin in the movie and the guy that played Randall were married for about a year and in 2017 she died of a overdose at the age of 44 just a little trivia also Jay and silent Bob are great Randall's great too silent Bob is Kevin Smith he directed the movie he was working at that same store that's why the shutters were shut this is filmed in New Jersey you need to see dogma and clerks 2, chasing Amy and Jay and silent Bob strike back they're all really funny Still can't wait for you guys to see cruel intentions

Envision

I remember this was so original at the time. Nobody talked like that in movies and it felt authentic. Shout out Jay and Silent Bob "Snoogans!"

Envision

Don't forget Mallrats!

Jon Jon

ehh neither of those are as good as clerks 2 or jay and silent bob chasing amy is better

Rebecca Karsner

We are wishing it into existence, therefore it's bound to happen! Lol

HoneyBiscuit

When are you going to continue THE HOBBIT series??! I need it. ❤️

Dan Gershgol

This movie is a gem. You need to watch Mallrats and Clerks 2. Clerks 3 does not hold any water for me.

Jay Rivera

Red State and Tusk baby! 🩸

Rebecca Karsner

Red State for sure!! Tusk would be a good reaction but idk if I can watch that movie again!! 😳😂

Jay Rivera

Red State and Tusk both lead up to scenes in their third act where the movie really goes WTF. Love it 😍 met Kevin smith during Clerks 3 promo the nicest man. Wishing we do Clerks 2 soon so we can get to 3 and cry together.

Rebecca Karsner

The third one had no business making me cry that hard!! 😢

Dan Gonya

i forgot about Jersey Girl! Yes, George Carlin makes me cry in that movie, he's so good! I guess the reason my brain didn't include it is because there was no Jay and Silent Bob in there...we could add Zack and Miri Make a Porno while we're at it.

Jay Rivera

Never Bilbo or Frodo 😂

Jon Jon

nahh i didn’t forget just left it out on purpose

Violet

Asia is so beautiful but when she laughs it's just dazzling! Y'all REALLY need to watch the 2nd one!!!!

Adam Kietzman

Before Clerks 2, you gotta see Jay and Silent Bob strike back.

pkleo73

Yea hopefully someone has spilled to them what the order is for these

Joseph Heady

You guys have to see number 2/3 and all the Kevin Smith movies and Jay and silent bod are all connected

Daniel

As an Ant from day one, that made me so happy lol

Darth Brooks

A fellow og Ant like myself! May not be in the wild but it's outside the facebook groups/chat I'm in lol. Did you get to attend The Curators Antravaganza? I didn't personally too far away but I have some merch coming.

Jon Jon

yalll DEFINITELY NEED To watch maybe mall rats, chasin amy, jay and silent bob and clerks 2 all kevin smith movies and in the same “universe “ of mivies but hella good movies

Jay Rivera

Where’s clerks 2 :(

Jay Rivera

Or 3. They all rock!
