Great pick VIP! Love Christopher Walken in everything and Alicia Silverstone was every boy's crush in the 90's. Such a funny and nostalgic movie.

John West

Barry White, not Hayes.

Eamonn Locke

Asia's mother and my mother would be best friends. My mom didn't want my friends inside the house, eating all the snacks and making noise. She didn't like them on the porch either lol

Michele G

Omg this is a GREAT movie !!!!!!! Thanks VIP for requesting it !! What a ….blast from the past 🤭🤭

Abel Salas Jr

That was Barry White and the Love Unlimited Orchestra singing Can't Get Enough of Your Love Babe

Dan Gonya

I love this movie. It's just such a fun, light-hearted, warm comedy. It's a classic diamond in the rough. I'm glad you guys liked it.

Sapporo Dragon

Great movie! Thanks to whoever recommended it. I have the soundtrack to this movie. Now you have to watch Encino Man, if you haven’t already seen that one.

Martin Harris

This is your 3rd movie you reacted to with Brendan Fraser. Previously you reacted to The Mummy and The Mummy: Return

Wayne Polk

Have seen this one in a minute!

Hey, BJ, you know how the construction of your cap / hat has that flat or curved, protruding portion, which is often commonly referred to as either a visor, brim or bill? Well, likewise, a duck's head / face region anatomically contains an attached body part which is interchangeably called a beak or bill. So, the PUNchline of the joke was intentionally meant to be a pun. Therefore, when the drugstore clerk asked "Cash or check" for a lip gloss purchase, the duck's literal response of "Put it on my bill" was a purposeful wordplay which had a double meaning. (Or maybe I should say it had a "DUCK-BILL meaning"?)

Juley

So have you never watched Clueless?!? 😱

Jerry Koopmanschap

What a big surprise. I've waited a long time for you guys to watch one of my favorite movies. I think this movie is a bit underrated. It's such a funny and unique movie. I think I like it even more than Back to the future for example. The scene in the club is so great. At the end you guys talked about the actors, but you didn't mention Sissy Spacek who played the mother. I wonder if you recognized her from the 1976 horror movie Carrie in which she played Carrie?

Brett

Osa Odighizuwa went to my high school David Douglas. My brother played football with him and his brother. So I root for the Cowboys sometimes lol Watched this movie a lot as a kid. George of the jungle too.

John West

The last song was by Elvin Costello.

Jacqueline Young

I've been watching TV, in color. 😂 Love this movie!

Melissa Perez

Omg I literally screamed out loud!!!! As a 80s baby who grew up in the 90s THIS WAS MY FAVORITE MOVIE!!!!! So underrated 👏👏👏

Kelly

Now y'all need to watch "Encino Man"

Amanda Winner

Thanks Matthew! Never expected to see this one and such a comfort movie

s8150f

Glad you guys watched this. One of my favorites.

Carol Rocha

So great, guys! I knew you’d love this one!

Brandon Wheeler

Encino, man or bedazzled definitely have to do bedazzled

James C

Randy Newman wrote and sang the end “Credit” song (Political Science). However he wrote the song in 1972 from his album “Sail Away”Not written for the movie but a great fit. He has won multiple Oscar Awards for “best song” in a movie… Besides that, love this movie and a shout out to Patron VIP Mathew P for suggesting 🍿🍿👍👍🤪

James C

It’s a Randy Newman song called “Political Science” from his 1972 album “Sail Away”…👍👍👍

John West

Thanks I get them confused.

iShihTzuNot

My Fair Lady (1964). They can’t hear a reference to a song and then not watch.

Dan Gershgol

I love this movie. A great executed story that is still relatable.

pkleo73

You should watch The Crush with Alicia in it. Itll give you a whole other aspect of her. lol

pkleo73

Encino Man still holds up. lol. Watched it not too long ago

s8150f

I think the main theme of the movie besides comedy and romance was to show the change in values and culture from 1961 vs 1995. I especially like the explanation of manners and the importance of parents.

I.D. saldivar

An all time favorite! Matthew Pasco you're a real one for getting this one on!!!

Vigorous Strongs

ASIA and BJ, you last time saw Brendan Fraser was in The Mummy movies.

Tessie True

Asia - the band playing in the 40s club is the Squirrel Nut Zippers. They were a great ska band in the 90s, with a couple of hits! Check them out!!

Envision

Don't sleep on 10 Cloverfield Lane!

Jon Kovacs

Just search YouTube for "Atlas Survival Shelters." They are pretty pricey though.

FEISTY

MY BAD, I keep thinking about illegally blonde. That's a cool movie too !

FEISTY

26:04 .. BAR OWNER She's one of the main characters TRUE BLOOD ! I'm so serious you have no idea what you're missing !!!! PLEASE REACT TO TRUE BLOOD !!!

Janice B CPhT

Why do I feel like Asia's referencing Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt when talking about the people underground? 😂
