mythicalreturns

Hyped for this one! Great suggestion from the VIP🙏🏻

iShihTzuNot

Are we talking about Calvin and Hobbes for the newspaper comic??

Kyndu

"Kick-Ass".

Eamonn Locke

Bruce Campbell was the Usher at the play who wouldn't let Peter in. He played Ash in the original Evil Dead trilogy. Sam Raimi is the creator and director of the original Evil Dead trilogy and the director of the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man trilogy. They've remained good friends over the years and Sam sometimes gives Bruce a cameo in his movies.

Darth Brooks

Vigorous Strongs

ASIA and BJ, you know this version of Spiderman is NOT a MCU one. So, you CAN NOT categorize it in the MCU folder. The ONE and ONLY Spiderman that is in MCU and connected to Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Black Panther, Ant-Man, and The Avengers is Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) starring Tom Holland as Spider-Man. So techniqually you haven't even watch Spiderman, yet, but an alternate, a knock-off version and NOT the ORIGINAL. Please watch the MCU one.

SixEight Guy

This isn't a "knock-off version". Tobey Maguire is the original Spiderman. He came first and has also appeared in the MCU. His first films as the character were not "MCU" films, but he's in no way a knock-off.

Vigorous Strongs

Not according to MCU aka Kevin Feige. This one and the one with Andrew Garfield, he said, is a mistake. Ask Google AI, which Spiderman is the MCU one. You'll get the answer.

Eamonn Locke

I'm not sure where you heard or read that Kevin Feige said that the Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movies were a mistake. He's never once said that. In fact, he was an associate producer for the Tobey Maguire trilogy. He personally invited Sam Raimi (director of the Tobey Maguire trilogy) back to direct Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in 2022.

Caitlin O'Connell

There are actually 3 MCU spider-man movies so far and a fourth one is releasing next year. This one (Spider-man 2) from 2004 is the second of the OG trilogy, not originally apart of the MCU but now connected to the MCU through Spider-man: No Way Home & Spider-man: Brand New Day.

Vigorous Strongs

What do you call a reboot over reboot of the same Spiderman movie but using a different actor?

Vigorous Strongs

It's the same thing with Hulk. The only Hulk movie that became part of the MCU is the 2008 film, The Incredible Hulk, starring Edward Norton before Mark Ruffalo took over. A little research and common sense will do you justice.

Vigorous Strongs

They, the MCU, didn't erase the previous versions of Spiderman, but they integrated it into the new and their original one starring Tom Holland.

Ar

😂😂😂 its really not that deep.

@Tom Godson

trust me 😂 crazy how many people actually listen to Google AI or any other AI for that matter, ive used them before and had answers mashed together that weren't even true haha

Kiera Walker

“Water under the damn bridge 😐.” 🤣🤣🤣

Theo Harris

Fun Fact SONY had to make a Spider-man movie every two years or risk losing the character rights back to Marvel. In 2015 SONY and Disney made a deal to share Spider-man with the now Marvel Studios. Introducing a new Spider-man (Tom Holland) to the MCU.

Cody Jado

Damn how'd I miss this :( Been sick with the flu, at least something can make me "feel" better in a way. Thank you for all these phenomenal reactions!

Patman

Calvin and Hobbes was one of my favorites. I use to buy the books during those book fairs way back in middle school.

Dan Gershgol

Spiderman 1 and 2 are my favorite adaptations of the character.

MacGuffinStuff

Yeah Spiderman is my og favorite superhero since I was a kid. I think it's the swinging, I would love to fly like Superman or The Vision or Captain Marvel but I don't know physically what that feels like. I do remember the swing set at school and how I would swing so high I was above the crossbar and that the chains would get slack and you were basically falling holding onto those two chains, and then on the next swing I'd jump off and see how far I could go and land on my feet, and it was ultimate adrenaline for 8 year old me lol. I think that's why I always wanted to be Spidey, more than any other superhero, that's one reason, that and he's relable to the average comic book nerd back then. He's young and naive but he tries his best, he is smart , but also really nerdy and goofy sometimes, has a massive crush on a girl he's kind of too shy to tell, Relatable. He's also not invincible, he can be hurt, but has mad heart and will take on villains who sometimes seriously outmatch him, because he's the only one there. He's not the most powerful at all, but kid is all heart. And yes, Spider-Man 3 is kind of a joke, but it is recently a cult favorite, not mine, 2 is my favorite, but 3 has kind of become a fan favorite because it's crazy, and you have to watch it because th newer movies do reference the canon in it. All the other Spider Man movies are awesome btw. Andrew Garfield, Tom Holland, you'll like them all, guarantee you.

aksrndipity

For the record, Spiderman did not kill Harry's father. Every time you said, "when Spiderman killed his father." I was triggered. The green goblin was impaled by his own glider. He initiated a strike against Peter. Peter's spider sense made him dodge the attack. He sadly, did not have time to save Harry's father in the process, but that does not make him responsible. Harry's father died by his own hand.

Johnny Andrews Jr

Hell yes I been waiting, hopefully y'all do Spider-Man 3 very soon!

Tony Uthe

You guys have to get into the Marvel TV series..pretty please ...lol

SixEight Guy

@Valentina You're 100% wrong. NO ONE agrees with you. And Kevin Feige did NOT say that. Sit down.

Samira Abdulmalik

The problem with Spider-Man three is that it’s the worst Spider-Man out of all of the Spider-Man in all three Spider-Man universes so next you have to watch Spider-Man three then you have to watch the amazing Spider-Man and then because you’re already watching the movies in the MCU you’ll eventually get to the third Spider-Man Universe and it will all make sense

Ryan Holmes

I'll never understand why CGI looked so much better in the 2000's than it does now. Also took them way less time to put out a new movie. So crazy

Deep Dives

They should also squeeze in the X Men/Women franchise too! doggonit

Angel Pantoja

Love that you guys circled back and finally watched the second one, will you finish the trilogy? Third film is not well regarded by critics but it's one of my favorites ngl

Janice B CPhT

BJ with them quotes. 🤣 But I had to finish this one..."I want $150,000, but we can settle out of court right now for 20 bucks." 🤣🤣

Janice B CPhT

Spiderman 2 for the PS2 was based on this movie and was one of my & my son's favorite games to play. We had so much fun running around the city grabbing bad guys and pile driving them off the Empire State Building or swinging them out to the boats and leaving them. #Memories

LINUS

GAHHH i cant wait for you guys to watch Spider-Man 3 then get thru the rest of the mcu to watch Spider-Man Homecoming, spiderman Far From Home, and Spider-Man NO WAY HOME (no spoilers people!)

Eamonn Locke

Please consider wathcing 'Whiplash' J.K. Simmons (the owner of the Daily Bugle) delivers a brilliant performance.

bowlio

Eamonn Locke

One of mine as well. I know they will love it.

ZealValHarriah

Dr. Otto Octavius aka "Doctor Octopus" was played by the brilliant Alfred Molina, who portrayed Rahad Jackson in 'Boogie Nights' (1997), which currently only remains on your Patreon platform in a heavily edited / censored form (YouTube version) unlike the norm. It was a shame when that had to happen — abruptly, suddenly and rapidly, at that — as I, for one, definitely genuinely and greatly appreciated the full reaction! In fact, I wholeheartedly enjoyed it with an attitude of utmost gracious gratitude! At any rate, the whole scene featuring the aforementioned actor was absolutely great, and one of sheer chaos in which hysterical hilarity ensued! You two would probably both most remember him as the eccentric, erratically behaving aka high-as-a-kite, mustached guy who was wearing only an opened, shiny, silver robe with exposed, colored, cotton brief style (the "tighty-whities" type) of underwear. Also, he was frequently smoking crack cocaine in the midst of further being strange, since he demonstrated his drug-addled vocal range while dancing and singing along to popular pop rock songs, which he had recorded on his compilation-containing cassette tapes. Additionally present at Rahad's residence were a young Chinese "boy toy" (so to speak) called "Cosmo" — who was dressed only in a t-shirt and boxers, while he simultaneously kept lighting and playing with firecrackers — plus a big, bald, black man acting as a security guard of sorts, who sported dark shades on his face along with being draped in a white tracksuit which concealed his handgun(s). Rahad randomly showed off his own handgun, which was displayed in an ornate box. Then he subsequently brandished said firearm, loaded a round into it, held it up to his chin, and feigned the act of committing suicide, which of course garnered a collection of priceless "WTF" expressions, as expected. He apparently did all of that just to see the reactions upon his guests' respective faces. Y'all may recall that the sole reason "Dirk Diggler" aka Eddie Adams (Mark Wahlberg), Reed Rothchild (John C. Reilly) and Todd Parker (Thomas Jane) even went there in the first place was because previously they had strategically and schematically planned to scam Rahad. They were going to attempt to rip him off by selling him baking soda disguised as cocaine. However, while the guard was weighing the bagged substance, Todd had a completely different concept separately conjured up on his own to rob Rahad of his master bedroom floor safe. Henceforth, of course he rapidly turned the entire ordeal into a haywire event, which went awry after he tried to be some sly guy when he revealed said solo idea by shouting commands / demands.

LOL Joey Diaz was not a 'Sopranos' cast member, although he did make a cameo appearance as part of a 'Sopranos'-inspired sketch on 'Mad TV' back during the time when the series was still on the air. Additionally, Diaz did have a role in a 'Sopranos' prequel film titled 'The Many Saints of New York' (2021). However, said movie was obviously released long after the HBO show had concluded. Y'all were thinking of actor Vincent Pastore. Granted, plenty of people do often tend to misconstrue the two by getting them mixed up. In fact, many folks don't just think that they look alike, but likewise believe that they are the same person.

M4RRS

Hey, BJ, in both reactions, you kept stating that "Spider-Man" / Peter Parker was the one who killed "(The) Green Goblin" / Norman Osborn. However, this is simply not true, my dude. The latter was responsible for his own death by trying to trick the former via a trap, which was set up to take him out with his glider, after he unmasked and hence revealed himself for sympathy. All "Spider-Man" did was move out of the way, since his tingling sensation(s) known as his "Spidey Sense(s)" kicked in, which allowed him to quickly realize and recognize in the moment what was about to rapidly happen to him within a matter of merely seconds. Once "Spider-Man" dodged the glider, which of course was deliberately aimed toward him to maim and destroy him — thus, he was able to safely and securely avoid an attempted murder, by the way — it instead impaled "(The) Green Goblin". Therefore, technically, Norman Osborn essentially both accidentally and nonsensically ended his own life, one could say.

Kain D. Zero

Seeing and listening to Aunt May being sad about Ben almost made me cry. She is such a sweet person

Saints_Madness

you dont know Dr. Octopus? I thought you read the comics? besides I use to watch the animated series on tv back in the 90s so I know quite a bit of them. Even the X-Men made a cameo in that show. But good reaction.

Melanie Buttrom

" not you picking up a stick!" ~ Asia 😆😆😆😆😆😆
