Not a full Muk Bang, but for sure I know my wife and I would love to watch you guys do some cooking and trying recipes. If you focus on TikTok stuff to try before we do, that would be a great show.

Edgar Gonzalez

Yeah today is gonna be a great Sunday 👍 Let's get to it fam!

Duck

Awesome to see one more office upload this weekend before it's time for bed here. Have a great Sunday everyone

Rebecca Karsner

Oh yea!! More Office!! Let's go!! 🔥 Happy Sunday everyone!!

agent29

What happened to the bloopers fam

skz

You guys kinda missed it with Pam and Alex. He wasn't hitting on her, just explaining that she might regret it if she doesn't fully commit to going after her dreams and even Jims face showed that he realized what Alex was saying was true The misdirect was getting us to think Alex was in to her but he was offering real advice instead.

Duck

I'm not sure were you are watching it. But I think they mixed episodes 8 and 9 around

Darth Brooks

Some more episodes of The Office on my birthday, I couldn't be happier!

Dan Gonya

i believe there are some episodes either missing or switched around. If you guys are watching on Prime, you may have to go to Peacock. In the long run it doesn't actually matter, but you see that Pam is back without explanation.

SoGutta31

They definitely mixed up 8 and 9

Zach P

you guys are missing idea with the prank on pam. they were just welcoming her to the family and she laughed at the end when they were walking away and Jims brothers said "Pam cool, welcome to the family". O thought that ended up heing a sweet prank to welcome her to the family of pranksters Also you got the wrong idea about Alex, he was just giving some actual good life advice, if shes really good at art she should try to go for it (jim just happened to hear it and had a sad look) Lastly, Dwight is too much LMAO

Katrina

Dang the funny part is most episodes it wouldn’t matter if they’re out of order but these ones that got mixed up really needed to be in order.

carlos

S5xE7,E9,E8

Bill B.

BUTTLICKER, OUR PRICES HAVE NEVER BEEN LOWER!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

dedknedy

Yes, the correct order is Customer Survey, International Business Trip, Frame Toby

Bill B.

I think Alex has a thing for Pam. Good advice about the art career but I don’t think his feelings are purely platonic.

Zach P

i mean he said nothing at all that would make it seem that he wants her. He said i know jim is in scranton but you are great at art and havent really done all you can towards that yet. Maybe he was into her but all he said was shes good at art lol

Lewsifer

Michael's reaction to Toby being back is absolutely perfect

Janice B CPhT

"Are you drunk?!" "This's Andy Ber-NARD" Gets me every time. 😅

skz

Literally not at all, thats the entire point of those scenes.

skz

The entire point of these scenes is to show he didnt and was just trying to offer advice. Its called a misdirect. Actually a little concerning how many people in these comments did not understand these scenes.

skz

Almost every episode has continuinity. Theres almost no episodes where it wouldnt matter.

Katrina

Sorry I guess I was just thinking about all of season 1. I shouldn’t have used the word “most”. I think there are several episodes that would not have had as much confusion as these if they were out of order.

Sean G

"Just pretend like we're talking until the cops leave." EVERY FREAKING TIME! 😂😂😂

MacGuffinStuff

Creed is on business, we just never ever quite know what his business actually is.... 🤔 Yes, I'd love to see you try Indian food, African, I'm curious too. I only know Mexican food (BIRRIA, it's goat meat it's GOAT), and when I was in the Army stationed in Germany, downtown they had Turkish food, döner kebab sandwiches were the bomb, gyro sandwiches are the closest, but not quite.

Katrina

Thanks so much for your correction.

MaggiLou152

Please please please stop these in between each episode and make sure you are watching the right number episode next. You keep watching them out of order and it’s not gonna make sense. And it’s also just annoying.

James C

I’m thinking episode 9 was actually episode 8.?? Regardless, you guys are 👍👍.. I noticed a movie was mentioned by one of The Office employees “Harry And The Hendersons” along with another movie mentioned by one of the employees “Schindler’s List”… Each movie I highly recommend..

Derek Jolstead

The entire point was actually to pivot away from the planned storyline where he did have feelings for her and confessed that, which they decided to steer hard the other direction with as soon as they saw the overwhelmingly negative reaction to the first Alex episode while shooting later episodes. So this idea that that character had feelings for Pam is absolutely in the DNA of those scenes, even though they tried to change their minds at the last second, and I believe the actor even said he had difficulty trying to play the scene from this episode without that idea of being into Pam coming through.

M4RRS

This time wasn't their fault. I caught when Asia checked (yet wasn't paying attention because her and BJ were conversing) that the third episode title of this batch read "Frame Toby" (after they had just watched him being framed), but the episode itself was actually "Business Trip". I also researched what happened, and the platform that they are watching on has episodes 8 and 9 out of order. However, the titles still remain at the correct spot in terms of episode number, so those are not also flip-flopped in the same way as the episode content. Thus, there was no way, at least going into it, for Asia and BJ to know in this instance. The best we can do for them is inform via comments which episodes are supposed to be up next, then hope that they read such text. Even then, they would still need to notice that the title differs due to not making sense in the event that something like this were to occur once again. Hopefully something similar doesn't pop up in the future, even though we all know that these things aren't always within our control.

skz

None of that has ever been confirmed whatsoever. Youre thinking of the season 9 stuff which has that exact explanation. This was nothing more than a misdirect and clearly a good one given how bad people are at picking up on it. Apparently if a male speaks to a female whatsoever anymore its flirtatious.

M4RRS

Kelly Kapoor's job title is Customer Service, not Quality Assurance. The latter is what Creed Bratton does. Also, Angela spoke of "antique tools", not "rusted, authentic farm tools" LOL!

M4RRS

Just so you two know, the next group of three episodes (S5: E10, E11 and E12) are supposed to be in the following order, respectively: • "The Surplus" • "Moroccan Christmas" • "The Duel" When checking as confirmation, it will also help to pay attention to whether or not the title then makes sense with the storyline(s) of each respective episode. Due to conversation during the last episode of the most recent batch, y'all failed to catch the fact that y'all had just finished watching Toby being framed and yet the next episode title still read "Frame Toby" as the (wrong) name, which was a shame. Granted, it was already too late at that point anyway, since the platform flip-flopped the actual episodes, but did not also (im)properly switch correctly corresponding titles. Not that it happened in this case, but that fact in and of itself could have been a hypothetical, potential cause for y'all to become confused, as well.

Derek Jolstead

I'm not getting anything confused, and the Season 8 and Season 9 potential storylines are much different with different histories. Here it is, from the horse's mouth: "Here's my understanding -- and I don't know that this is gospel, but it's what someone sort of said to me out of the side of their mouth: Originally, my character -- and I know this part to be true -- my character was supposed to be enamored of Pam. He was supposed to be a potential roadblock for Pam and Jim. What I understand happened, or at least it seems chronologically to make sense, was we shot the first two episodes. Before I shot my third episode where I had this big monologue where I was to profess my love to Pam, the first one aired." Sourced from here: https://content.usatoday.com/communities/popcandy/post/2009/09/a-chat-with--mad-men-star-rich-sommer/1 Does that work for you? In case it's not enough, here's some more. First, from the Office Ladies episode with Rich Sommer. SOMMER: And the way it was pitched to me was that it would be...we think it's a character that's going to be kind of like Rashida's character was where it might be a little bit of another road bump for Jim and Pam. So when it started, that was definitely what was in my mind. But we filmed scenes that didn't make it into the show...It was enough time or a short enough time I should say that the audience response to my first appearance was had landed before I was filming Customer Survey and the they were not pleased. They did not like Alex. JENNA: Well, you have very kind of flirty eyes in your first scenes at art school. You're very flirty. And you're right. Those scenes aired and all of a sudden Tiki Bar is on the cutting room floor. SOMMER: [H]ere was my problem, my problem was that I had an insight, I had a mole on the inside...So this person sent me the script and I was- in that version, Alex professed his love to Pam. And I thought, oh, wow. And...it left it open. Is this a send off for my character or is this something that we may see him later on? I showed up on the day I was handed the sides. And those sides were, as as you guys know, wildly different, that they had taken out any profession of love at all, made it purely about her sort of artistic sensibilities and changed how that was going to go. So when we were filming, I will admit this is a fault of mine as an actor. I couldn't get it out of my head because, again, everything we had been playing so far was that Alex had a crush on Pam...it's implied, it's intrinsic, as Jim says, you know, this guy's into you. I mean, it's it's clearly there. But in the moment, I couldn't find the right level of demonstrative that Stephen wanted. And the level that Stephen wanted was zero. JENNA: Rich, I think you're being too hard on yourself and taking on too much of the responsibility, because I was also told that Alex might be a possible love interest for Pam, not that Pam would have feelings for Alex, but that she might have to manage his feelings for her. (Transcript here: https://officeladies.com/transcript-ep-84-business-trip-with-rich-sommer) And here's even more clarification during their conversation with Stephen Merchant, who directed "Customer Survey": ANGELA: Didn't...Jenna, wasn't he like professing that he actually wanted to be in a relationship with you? Wasn't like there are a huge spectrum of like what Alex was going to say to you? JENNA: Yes. It was that either the plea was he actually had a line where he said, it's always been you, Pam. I mean, that's heavy. And and then there was this whole other version where he had no feelings for me. He was just really invested in my artistic life. MERCHANT: ...I remember the discussion about that. And I and I feel like I was it seemed odd to me that kind of big declaration of love. I for some reason, I was uncomfortable with that. But what you got to remember is what is I wasn't entirely up to speed on what had already been being built within the season because obviously I'd only come in for that one episode. So but I just there was something for me that disquieted me about the declaration of love... JENNA: I do remember the version where he professes his love was in the script. And John and I felt like you did. We thought, where is this coming from? We don't need this obstacle. And the one that appears in the show was an alternate. And so when we got to set, we were so excited that you were on our side...and I feel like for a while we tried to do this Frankenstein version where there was a little bit of his feelings and a little bit of art school. But ultimately, I'm so glad that we picked the one that was picked. MERCHANT: But having watched the show again in anticipation of this, it's a little odd that he declares, like you say, he's he's so invested in your art school because it feels like when he comes into the office-- JENNA: He's known me three months! MERCHANT: That's right. He comes...to kind of have a word with you and that definitely feels like he's going to declare his love because probably we filmed it thinking that was what was going to happen. And then by the time he gets into the little side room with you, he's like, man, you've got to stick with that art. It's kind of... yes so it's a it's a little odd. It's still probably a little Frankenstein-y. ANGELA: Well, I watched this episode again last night with my tweens, my 13 year olds. And just when Alex says, hey, can I talk to you? Just that, like the fact that he went to Dunder Mifflin corporate and sought her out to have a private conversation, they were like, whoa...yes, Alex is saying you've got to give your art a shot. You can't do New York in three months. But it's clearly about so much more. And Jim can hear that. Jim knows. It's that that dude thing where when he's like, oh, he's into you. (Sourced from here: https://officeladies.com/transcript-ep-83-customer-survey-with-stephen-merchant) I think that should be plenty to confirm the obvious, both that this idea was absolutely in both the cast and crew's minds while making this part of the show, and also that (based on the reactions of these people as just viewers, even, saying it's obviously there) there's absolutely merit to all of us saying that Alex had a thing for Pam. There's no mention of this being any type of "obvious misdirect" at all, from anyone involved in making it. It's more than "a male speaking to a female," it's the way it's shot and performed, the existing expectations for this type of storyline on a show like this, and several other components. But no one is making anything up in their mind, and most of the people I've watched the show with or seen react to it have all said the same thing. Seems like we might not be the ones who are bad at picking up on things... Not sure why there was doubt about this in the first place, but hope this clears it up once and for all.

Amorrr😚💗

Ik im late but I think Alex is a mix of Roy and Jim lol
