Matthew Barney

Alright now that we got through all the zig zagging, Quinten Tarantino rotation of episodes out the way, we can get back on track haha

Jimmie V

Excellent! Love that you're loving the show and putting out so many episodes at once.... if you guys ever feel like doing a marathon and posting, I'm here for it.

Edgar Gonzalez

More office ! I loooove these reactions. Especially when BJ looks like he's gonna pass out from laughing 😂

Darth Brooks

I got my snakin blankets ready because my furnace went out and I'm ready to watch!

dmh killah

Y'all are awesome! Thanks

TJ Harrington

During New Boss, BJ says “Thank you, Mr. Miner.” Curious if he knows that’s a lyric from Harry Hood by Phish, or if that was just a fun coincidence? I’m sure the latter but I know they’ve reacted to random music.

A confused Andy was just saying other things that begin with the word "Golden" as ideas which he thought were similar to the "Golden Ticket" promotion by "Marketing Greatness Michael". So, Andy, not understanding, just randomly blurted out "Golden Girls" (a TV show) and "Golden Grahams" (a cereal).

Lewsifer

Now this was classy

Zach P

Dwight and Jims back and forth banter is always the funniest part of this show to me

Michael Scott recurring 'er / her joke: • "Baler? I hardly know her!" [Baler = Bale 'er / Bale her] • "Binder? I hardly knew her!" [Binder = Bind 'er / Bind her] • "Miner? I hardly know her!" [Miner = Mine 'er / Mine her] For instance, if you heard one of the various versions of the song 'Vagina Mine' by the band Puscifer (Lead Vocalist = Maynard James Keenan, who is also the vocalist for both TOOL & A Perfect Circle), you may say this to describe your listening experience: "That's a banger!" Then I might reply like so: "Banger? I hardly know her", which would sound like "Bang 'er" or "Bang her", followed by my own use of the silly, sexual "in-ur-end-oh" (innuendo) punchline.

Thus far, there are two actors who were in 'The Wire' that have now also appeared in 'The Office'. In fact, both coincidentally played characters in 'The Wire' whose real names were Russell, yet they went by nicknames — plus both even happened to be in Season 5 of 'The Office', at that. I am referring, of course, to Amy Ryan, who portrayed both Beatrice "Beadie" RUSSELL and Holly Flax, respectively, plus Idris Elba, who portrayed both RUSSELL "Stringer" Bell and Charles Miner, respectively. Be on the lookout in the future for more 'Wire' / 'Office' crossover actors, one of whom additionally played a role in both 'Breaking Bad' and 'Better Call Saul'. So, one particular person appeared in all four of those shows. Speaking of the latter two shows ('BB' & 'BCS'), there are a few actors who were a part of said universe — whether in one show or the other, or both — that also showed up in various episodes of 'The Office', although those folks did not additionally appear on 'The Wire'.

[The following, scripted conversation has always been a bit of a plot hole.] Dwight: Michael, Why do you keep looking at the front door? Michael: No reason. Dwight: Is somebody after you? Oscar: Why do you always go to that? Has anyone ever been after anyone in this office? Dwight: Hey! It just takes one. [Yup, that's right, Dwight, it only takes one . . . like the time when Roy came after Jim, but Dwight himself halted Roy in his tracks during his attempted attack by deploying pepper spray directly into his face. So, did both the writers and actors all just conveniently completely forget about that scene happening merely two seasons ago at the time of them filming this Season 5 "Blood Drive" episode?]

Too many spoilers…Asia & B.J. Don’t read these comments. 🤢

Bill B.

That would be awesome if it wasn’t!

Bill B.

How about they find things out as they watch?

Janitor

Clearly, you guys have no idea how high he can fly..🕊️

Plot hole or people forget things in real life and characters can forget things too.

————————————————————————————————————— Below is an excerpt taken directly from a full transcript of an episode of the weekly 'Office Ladies' podcast. Most 'Office' fans are aware that said show features real life best friends / co-hosts Jenna Fischer (Pam Beesly) and Angela Kinsey (Angela Martin). They recap, review and generally discuss insightful details, including behind-the-scenes information, about every episode (and possibly the handful of webisodes as well?) of 'The Office' in chronological order. This occurs after they both of course first go back during their own respective free time to watch whichever episode is going to be covered within a given week prior to recording. Anyway, onto the topic at hand: OFFICE LADIES | EPISODE 94 - BLOOD DRIVE | TRANSCRIPT [01:00:58] Jenna: Back at the mixer, Michael keeps looking at the door. He's really hoping Glove Girl will show up. [01:01:04] Angela: And Dwight is like, Why do you keep looking at the front door? Someone after you? [01:01:08] Jenna: OK, wait, we got a fan question about that from Amy P. She says, when Dwight asks Michael if someone's after him and Oscar says, Why do you always go to that? Has anyone ever been after anyone in this office? Amy says, um Yes, Oscar. [01:01:23] Angela: Roy! [01:01:24] Jenna: Yes! Remember Roy? He was definitely after Jim and Dwight saved the day. [01:01:31] Angela: Listen, Dwight is ready with weaponry all the time. [01:01:35] Jenna: There is a moment where a woman shows up who is not Michael's lady. And he turns her away. [01:01:43] Angela: Everyone groans. I don't know that he turns her away, but she walks in and everyone is so excited for Glove Girl that when Michael is like, Nope, they're like meh. [01:01:52] Jenna: And she leaves. [01:01:52] Angela: Yeah. { Source: https://officeladies.com/transcript-ep-94-blood-drive } ————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————— The Office | Blood Drive | Goofs | Character Error Oscar asks Dwight, "has anyone ever been after anyone in this office?", to which Dwight replies, "Hey, it just takes one". All seem to have forgotten Roy's attempt to attack Jim, which Dwight foiled with pepper spray in 'The Negotiation'. { Source: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1248739/goofs/ } ————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————— r/DunderMifflin • 2y ago OP: mankls3 • 2y ago I'm surprised Oscar asked, "has anyone been after anyone in this office?" (when Dwight asked Michael if anyone was after him, waiting for the blood donor girl) - because Roy was after Jim at one point Other users' comments below: Hayden_Quilty • 2y ago I always think this same thing when I watch this scene!! So glad you had the same thought. No matter how many times I watch, i half expect Dwight to answer Roy. xFilthEpitomex • 1y ago This is the worst written line in the show because it completely ignores a fairly big moment in a previous season. I get borderline apoplectic every time I hear it. Roy going after Jim is the definition of someone being after someone. { Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/DunderMifflin/comments/14xcl4b/im_surprised_oscar_asked_has_anyone_been_after/?sort=old } ————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————— r/DunderMifflin • 6y ago S5 E18: blood drive. OP: [deleted] Michael looks at the door and Dwight asks him if someone is after him. Oscar then asks “has anyone ever been after anyone in this office” My question is how the hell could Oscar forget how Roy came after Jim? Mind is blown all 100+ times I’ve seen this episode. Another user's comment below: TeeKaye120 • 6y ago Oscar was there and described the fight to Angela. { Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/DunderMifflin/comments/dm6w6f/s5_e18_blood_drive/?sort=old } ————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————— Google AI Overview: The plot hole in The Office Season 5, Episode 18, "Blood Drive," is related to a quote by Oscar in a conversation with Dwight. During the episode's, Michael is constantly looking toward the front door, expecting someone to come in. This leads to the following exchange: Dwight: "Why do you keep looking at the front door? Is somebody after you?" Oscar: "Why do you always go to that? Has anyone ever been after anyone in this office?" Dwight: "Hey! It just takes one." The plot hole is that the characters, especially Dwight and Oscar, seem to have forgotten the events of the Season 3 episode "The Negotiation" where Roy Anderson attempted to attack Jim Halpert, and Dwight intervened by successfully using pepper spray on Roy. Roy was literally "after" Jim in the office. Context: Dwight, who had foiled Roy's attack with pepper spray, should have remembered this incident, making Oscar's rhetorical question factually incorrect within the show's continuity. —————————————————————————————————————

Everyone in hollyweird is a weirdo. They don’t follow our Gods. They follow the anti christ. The fact YouTube still has lady gaga naked in a forest channelling demons with a world known “witch/spirit cook” and no one bats an eye 💀💀 praise God ✝️✝️

Mami's Gatos

Girl.... I cannot stand her. She looks like Marilyn mandon and Gwen stefani had a baby. Yeah the closer I get to God the more they appear/ reveal themselves.

Soph

Hahahah! I agree. It’s weird I used to love Beyoncé’s music and now I instantly switch it off when it’s on. As you said, I feel I can see through them all. Sending you blessings and peace from Scotland !

Mami's Gatos

I haven't followed Beyoncé since destinys child's survivor album. Me ans my cousins wore that cd out! Yeah I dont even own a TV to be honest. Haven't for like 10 years now. It gives me so much anxiety and rhe waves are not good for your brain. My phone amd laptop are dangerous enough. I wish we could kill the grid in a sense and go back to simplicity.

John G.

You two remind me of Angela..

No problem sugar tits. Have a good day!

The woman who walked in to the singles gathering "mixer" party was not at all the same person who Michael had earlier encountered while they were both donating their blood at the same time. The reason she immediately turned away and left was because she instantly observed everyone's negative reaction at the sight of her approaching, thus she thought she wasn't welcome. However, they were all actually reacting that way due to Michael nodding his head no, which indicated that it wasn't the same woman from before who was coming through the conference room door. The shame of it is that she was yet another attractive lady who Michael could have maybe tried to hit it off with, especially since everyone else was already paired up talking to each other. Unfortunately, though, he was too preoccupied with waiting on a previous connection to potentially attend, even to the extent that he completely overlooked someone else showing up, hence squandering a possible opportunity. More about this is contained within my previous comment below this one, in which "BFF" actresses Angela Kinsey (Angela Martin) and Jenna Fischer (Pam Beesly) confirmed the aforementioned fact when referencing said "scene-quence".

Regarding both Ryan and Andy recently being absent or only making sporadic appearances in some of these mid-season episodes: This might have been during the time when both of them were busy working elsewhere, perhaps shooting on the film sets for a couple of popular movies which were each respectively released in 2009. After all, 'The Hangover' starred Ed Helms (Andy Bernard) in a major part, whereas, in 'Inglourious Basterds', B.J. Novak (Ryan Howard) played a much smaller role (no pun intended), in which his character was nicknamed "The Little Man" by the Nazis.

Poopy McDoodooface

Asia had a look on her face like Angela and Kelly did when you mentioned Idris, BJ. I think she caught what they did. 🤣 Great episodes and great reactions.

Wondering if this is mislabeled or what happened because there was a series labeled 10,11,12 before this and now this is 18,19,20. So where's 13-17 or were they watched and somehow mislabeled because of the streaming service? Hate to be the guy nitpicking, love all of yalls content.
