Charles' problem was that he wasn't a people person. He could have done better if he had known how to treat "The crew" right. He was too direct, he could have tried to manage the workers more softly and could have been able to get a lot better results. He was too cold.

Asia, Jim wasn't happy about a $60k cut. Michael, Pam & Ryan didn't even accept that deal. They opted for jobs including insurance plus benefits instead. Jim was actually just ecstatic due to the fact that his fiancée would once again be coming back to work at Dunder Mifflin with him. Even better, Pam essentially received a gratuitous promotion to the position of sales person, rather than having to return to her previous gig as receptionist. So, she got what she wanted all along, since her ambition to aspire higher was the whole reason why she left to join Michael and his company in the first place.

Michael got back at Charles by returning the favor (so to speak) of abruptly cutting him off, thus halting him from bidding farewell to the office employees on his way out, plus he even repeated his quote when he said "You're done" to him. After all, if y'all recall from merely a handful of episodes ago, Charles did those exact same things to Michael while having him escorted out of the building by Hank the security guard.

Asia- I got a job at a cardiologist’s office, and within 10 minutes I was told of all these horrible duties I was going to have to do that were never mentioned in the interview. When the boss left the room I told someone I was going to the restroom and then hightailed it out of there. I think I went to the mall. 😂 I also quit a job by saying I was going to lunch and never returning. There was a very good reason for that, though!

On the Scrabble board, Michael meant to spell out "No Scrub" (albeit as one word), which was probably supposed to be a reference to the popular 1999 hit single release called "No Scrubs" by R&B girl group TLC.

The negotiation with David Wallace v. Michael Scott is one of my all time favorite scenes. When Michael says "I don't care if Ryan murdered his entire family, he's like a son to me." I think that is one of the funniest lines in this show. :D

Ryan using a fixed cost pricing model for michael's busines shows he didnt learn anything in business school, we were taught to use variable cost starting from high school economics class, then taught how to apply these models in undergrad college courses. Not to mention a core part of business school is learning how to valuate leveraged buyouts when a company is sold and you can't do that without learning which models to use. So Ryan learned absolutely nothing about business, 100% knows less than a high school kid

One of my favorite lines is when Michael, Pam, and Ryan come upstairs for the buyout meeting and Michael says "OH how the turntables " The actual saying is "OH how the tables have turned " It just shows how Michael's brain works ...LOL Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASIA 🎂 🥳 🎉

Throughout the series, multiple references are made to / by Michael about him being a big fan of Steve Martin (aka "the silver-haired guy", as he has been deemed by BJ recently). Steve Martin is indeed an actor (and comedian) who you two have definitely seen at least once when you both watched plus reacted to 'Plains, Trains and Automobiles' together. I am sure y'all recall said, fun(ny) film, a Thanksgiving season classic which was released in 1987 and also starred John Candy. During an early portion of the movie, Kevin Bacon made a cameo appearance as well. As for another film featuring Steve Martin, I think you two would likely enjoy 'The Big Year' (2011), which also stars Owen Wilson, Jack Black and Rashida Jones (Karen Filippelli from 'The Office').
