I think you two may have missed Robert California mentioning how he "got into a case of Australian reds" (wine) and "COLOMBIAN WHITES" (cocaine) the night before while celebrating the finalization of his divorce, which of course was why he acted so erratic during that previous evening (e.g. drunk dialing Nellie plus closing down the Binghamton branch in New York).
