Awesome Movie! I saw this in middle school. Based on the true story of Daniel Ruittiger. Who overcame physical and academic limitations to fulfill his dream to play football for the university of Notre Dame. This film has a lot of heart. Let's check it out fam! 🏈❤️💪

I'm with you Asia, those guys are all giants. I've had the pleasure of meeting many Minnesota Vikings players and they're all huge; especially if you meet an NFL lineman in person, you'd swear it wouldn't be humanly possible for a person to be that large. I've met Kevin Garnett in person and the man has to lower his head to get through doorways...you have no idea how tall 6'11" actually is until you see it in person, wow. The TV doesn't do it justice how big all those guys are.

Great movie. College is infinitely better than NFL imo. The culture is so intense. Especially down south. It's bigger than religion. Alabama's stadium (101,000) is a mile down the street from me. Been going to games my whole life. It's magic. Respect to ND, but we destroyed them boys twice in the postseason lately lol.

(Was hoping my Texans would be in the Super Bowl but I was rooting for the Seahawks cause I just can’t stand the Patriots especially when they were winning year after year till Brady left. And I couldn’t stand Tom Brady! I mean as a player not the person he is outside of football. Just hated playing against the guy😂😂). But I love yalls friendly bets. A little trivia… Shawn Aston’s (a.k.a. Rudy), parents are also actors. His father is John Aston via by the television show the Addams Family. He was Gomez Addams. His mother was one of my favorite actresses Patti Duke. There was a tv series called the Patti Duke Show. I religiously watched. She also had a recording career. So, he comes from a long line of very talented people.

Ok, I went and saw this when I was 10 and have watched Notre Dame football ever since, great movie one of my favorites but it is just that, a movie. Look up the real story and it is a little different, he actually only got half a sack. Joe Montana was there at the same time and did not agree with the movie, kinda made Dan Devine look bad when it really wasnt like that. There were no players putting their jerseys down for him to take their spots.

Born, raised and I still currently live just a few minutes away from Notre Dame campus here in South Bend, Indiana! I worked at Notre Dame for 10 years through high school and college doing their concessions at all their sporting events! I’ve been to many, many games over the years, ND is a special place to be on a college football Saturday in the fall! Love and appreciate you guys, Asia and BJ! Love this movie and story! Asia lol yes he wants to play, but you can’t just walk onto the field and say I’m part of the team. You have to earn your way to even get a shot and getting on that field it takes years . I’m originally from Joliet Illinois.. well actually a little south of there in a town called Dwight, but close enough. Such a great movie.
