Disney! What happened to this Disney?, they had a whole lot of hit bangers like this movie, and now they can't even re-make a Snow White movie without screwing it up (Hence Snow White 2025). But im gonna save this vent for another day. We got Mulan today fam. Ming-Na Wen, Eddie Murphy, James Hong, Li Shang. The story of a hand maiden that becomes a great heroine in the age when China was was defending against the Hun invasion. This is a very well told story, and a movie from my childhood. Im going to check out this reaction, after work today!

History lesson since no one asked for it. In the movie the bad guys are called The Huns (AD 370-469) as in Attila the Hun. The only people who got past the Great Wall were the Mongolians (AD 1206-1368) starting with Genghis Kahn. The Han Dynasty of China was 206 BC to AD 220

I am not a big Frozen Fan... but that show was fire... the singing, the energy of the crowd.. it was a good time. But Frozen is an amazing Disney success in a sea of bad movies.

Different people enjoy different things, and that’s kind of the whole point of having options… No one’s forcing you to sit through it. Some people genuinely love these films, whether it’s nostalgia, the music, the storytelling… whatever it is. No need to make others feel bad for that.

Great reactions once again 👏 You guys should definitely watch the Disney classic movies... especially the ones that came out in the 80's and 90's. You guys also have to watch Beavis and Butthead Do America. That is a great animated movie... and it's hilarious 😂

I'm sure that there are more too but those are really good ones off the top of my head.

The voice of the grandmother is June Foray. She is a legendary voice actress doing voice overs for Disney, Hannah Barbara and Warner Bros. She died at 100. She was still working in her 90s.

Asia and Bj hear me out your next Disney watch... Pocahontas. It was my favorite as a kid and it really has a beautiful message in it... no matter how historically inaccurate it may be.. lol.. Colors of the Wind is one of the greatest Disney songs ever, according to me lolol.

Ahh I agree, more Disney / animated ones, please! They just touch the heart strings differently. I'll never forget being at D23 Expo at the closing panel for the weekend and out comes Donny Osmand .. singing and dancing the song in Mulan - I'll Make a Man Out of You. The entire room stared cheering and singing along. So much fun!

Your talking about the animation style reminds me that one of the things I love about this movie is how the look is supposed to be reminiscent of watercolor paintings. Also, the flowering trees you’re probably thinking of are cherry blossoms. The annual Cherry Blossom Festival starts here in Washington DC later this month, and they really are beautiful! 🌸
