1st time watch for me. In my experience as a child of divorce this movie did not represent my experience in regards to custody battle between parents. Unfortunately everything BJ mentioned at the end as faras vendictivness etc was how my parents acted. But on the plus side I think it taught me and my sister how not to act in relationships.

I hope you realize that the Adam Sandler movie Big Daddy is the comedy version of Kramer vs Kramer.

Kramer Vs Kramer did win the best Picture Oscar. Streep And Hoffman also won an Oscar for this film. The little boy (only nominated) is the youngest actor to be nominated for an Oscar even to this day.

This is one of my mom’s favorite movies. She made me watch it when I was little. I liked it but rewatching it as a mom and a wife….it hits so hard !! You have to do what’s in the best interest of the child and honestly I think he was better for the kid. I think the mom should have had lesser custody and weened it in a little bit instead of trying to just yank him away. That poor little boy had been through so much. Glad it ended the way it did. This is one of my favorite Dustin movies. He’s so damn good. This and Tootsie ! 💜💜

I feel bad for the little boy. His mom leaves, comes back, then is told he has to leave his Dad and live with his Mom, then he’s gonna be told that he can stay.

The way I make French toast is eggs, milk or half and half if I've got it, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a little bit of nutmeg. Mix that all together and try it out. Use plenty of butter and maple syrup, or powdered sugar and whipped cream or whatever you like on it. You're welcome.
