I_Kpop_Fan

Sinister is one of the scariest. IT (2018), 13 Ghosts, Silence of the Lambs, Evil Dead (remake), Weapons, Ouija 1&2, Oculus, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, Talk to Me, The Shining, Exorcist. Conjuring and Insidious are some of the best franchises. The Haunting of Hill House show on Netflix is great. Anything Mike Flanagan does is a great watch.

Roadwarrior1031

The Evil Dead original and The Wicker Man 1973 I love them both

MacGuffinStuff

The Serpent and the Rainbow, classic and kind of based on a true story too.

Stacey

🥰 Pretty please. Conjuring 3 one of my faves. They literally put the Devil on trial. Fascinating.

Me

Babadook got into my head. 😅

MacGuffinStuff

John Carpenter's The Prince of Darkness

Stacey

*Side note, please don't forget about Haunting of Hill House. It's 10 episodes. Same guy who did Life of Chuck, except spooky. It's an adaptation of a famous book turned on it's ear. Brilliant.

Skip

Dana

SUSPERIA (1977)

Ron Shimon

None actually. There’s only one movie that I’ve seen that it upset me. 8 MM. Good movie Not a horror movie though but it’s a psychological thriller It just disturbed me thinking that things in the movie could actually happen in our country. I wouldn’t recommend it because it’s disturbing

Maeve1667

Stir of Echos Woman in Black Am American Haunting Stephen King's Rose Red Snow White: A Tale of Terror The Cell In Dreams

Yolanda

IT. My family decided to watch it when I was little and I've been scared of clowns since Lol I haven't found the courage to watch it as a adult 😫

Andreas

And based on a true story. A few days ago i've watched the documentary about the exorcism the homicide and the trial. Involving the people who had lived through it all.

PVaughn

Adam Armstrong

Snow White: A Tale of Terror starring Sigourney Weaver as The Evil Queen (known as Lady Claudia) who is actually more of a tragic villainess, Monica Keena as Snow White (known as Liliana) who starts off the film as a childish brat.

Joshua Grande

Its always funny when people say this one, cuz to me, this ain't a horror film, its a trauma film wearing a horror film halloween costume haha This movie is mostly just depressing and disturbing, not scary But I guess in the case of "stuck with you" this is one

TJ Harrington

Yes! Asia would be immediately confused, let’s go!

Ashleigh

Halloween 4 (1988)

Finders Keepers Exile

Midsommar gets my vote since you've already seen Hereditary and Obsession.

TJ Harrington

Possession (1981) In the Mouth of Madness (1994) Lair of the White Worm (1988) Brain Damage (1988) Night of the Creeps (1986) Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight (1995) Suspiria (1977)

Rebecca Karsner

Hereditary for sure. So unsettling! The Exorcism of Emily Rose as well but that was mostly because Jennifer Carpenter ate that role. You guys gotta watch Late Night with the Devil!! Especially with all the stuff that has come to light about the dark side of Hollywood.

Ashleigh

Child’s Play (1988)

Renee B

Caitlin O'Connell

Disturbia. (2007) - Not THE scariest, but one of my favorites.

Freddie Miles

YES, they would love it! I've been waiting for it to win a poll, but I think would be great for Scare-tober; it's short and on theme.

Roger Burnett

Tucker & Dale vs. Evil .... Funny Horror and WORTH IT!!!

Jennis Davis

I love The Woman in Black. Daniel Radcliffe did a great job in my opinion in that role. I was so focused on the spooks that I almost forgot that Harry Potter is starred in it!

Kimberly Tyda

Kyndu

"Hellraiser" and "Hellraiser 2".

Stacey

Woman in Black, so good

Stacey

There's a documentary with one of the children. 😊 He breaks down how much was Hollywood vs real.

KingMoor

Nice, do you know the name of it?

Stacey

The Entity - 1982 American film starring Barbara Hershey. It's one of the few movies that scared me.

Kyndu

"Life" 2017

Kyndu

Monster "The Ed Gein Story"

Stacey

Same! 8MM and Bringing Out the Dead are 2 of his best movie IMO. Both from 1999, a good year for him.

Stacey

Jennifer Carpenter 💯

Stacey

💯 The book is scarier than any films made from it.

Stacey

Coraline is different in the best way possible. I saw it in 3D when it first came out. I wish everyone could watch it that way now.

Stacey

💯 creeped me out which is difficult to do.

Stacey

1982 with Barbara Hershey?

Stacey

Not the scariest, but What Lies Beneath definitely spooked me and got my mind think a lot about how much Hitchcock was an inspiration. 2 A list actors.

Tony Uthe

Amityville horror II , is based on the original family and the son who was supposed to be possessed.

Tony Uthe

When my brother and I were little ( I'm the oldest) we were watching the 1st one, my brother was sitting on the couch, I snuck away pretending to go to the bathroom, I got my " my buddy" doll , hid behind the couch and threw it on my brother's lap, I don't think his feet ever hit the floor. Lol he was 4 and I was 8...lol good times.

Sneaky Snake

Evil Dead rise Dale and Tucker vs evil Barbarian Fall Babadook

Stacey

🎯 This is exactly how I feel about it from my POV. I also see why this is classified as horror though, the character actions are pretty horrific, plus there's possession and cult things happening. When I first watched it, I thought of it as more symbolic of grief and trauma. Then the 2nd time I watched it (A&B's reaction) I realized most of it is intended to be literal with grief being the motivator for King Paimon to accomplish its purpose. All of it is told through a physical traumatic lens. I personally don't think the director captured the movement from literal cult phenomenon and grief very well. Weapons is a movie that was able to do this almost perfectly. I do appreciate Hereditary though, very Rosemary's Baby but with disturbing graphics. It's definitely the inspiration for a several great modern horror movies like Smile and Obsession. I'd be surprised if Hereditary wasn't also inspired by The Babadook though, which was 4 years earlier. I think the basic 'formula' is the same.

Stacey

In college I tutored a kid who's father was a distributor and set up a local screening for it. The Internet was relatively new, but there were news articles about the true story of how the footage was found, that took you to a website with photos and more newspaper articles. All kinds of marketing that made it seem real, billboards, flyers, etc. Since the kid's Dad knew I liked spooky movies and his oldest son wanted to see it, he gave me passes to take the son. Aside from The Entity, that was the scariest movie I had watched at that point. 😳 The son was in awe... didn't speak for a while after the movie. We were telling his parents about everything enthusiastically, big gestures.... and then he tells us that none of it is real. It was all marketing.... brilliant marketing. I felt so gaslit and naive. 🤣 The great thing about the timing of when it came out was access to verify information wasn't so readily available, and those who knew it wasn't real didn't spoil it. I wish people could watch it the same way we did back then. I think people who watched it afterwards don't realize how great it really is. Much like the way Hitchcock marketed his movies. Genius.

Gil

I will keep mentioning TX Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006)

Jessie

Literally all the Scream movies 😂 I hope y'all continue with them this spooky season 💜

Kangdarius

I don’t get scared or even really disturbed by horror films. I’m a vet at this. If u catch me smiling it means I’m loving it though. Last movie that scared me was bad moon. That’s mostly because I was 4yrs old lol.

Mimi C.

Exit 8 (2025) Japanese psychological horror

Jonathan Romero

You need to watch Ravenous (1999). It’s the most underrated movie of all time. it’s a horror comedy Civil War action movie. Y’all will love it.

NatalieVegas1965

Oh I agree. I can’t watch that again. The sawing of her head up on the ceiling w the sound effects is burned into my brain and it warped me!

Vanessa Flores

If you don't want anything too scary maybe Hocus Pocus or Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

Jerry Bartlett

I got a challenge for Asia & BJ (more or less) I have always enjoyed October on your channel. So I guess you can say I am eagerly awaiting this year's scary movies that will be shown on here. But it breaks my heart to say that I might not be able to remain a Patreon here on your channel because this past year has been the toughest for me that I have ever had, and I might not be able to afford the subscription. Since I haven't been able to watch too much like I have in the past, if the next month is as good as the past Octobers have been, I will make it work. If it isn't as thrilling as it has been in the past, i hate to say it, but i'm gonna have to move on. I guess you can say is in order to keep me plugged in, i'm going have to be entertained and happily continue to pay the $15.90 rather than just pay it and hope its worth it. GOOD LUCK!!

Robin

Hey hey hey! Can we get a First Time Watched Movie?? There are some awesome suggestions in the chat, only two days before the scary movies begin!!!

Robin

I agree, it would be an awesome choice and they would really enjoy it!!

Robin

Yes it is a TV show, Haunting of Hill House is a mini series. There are 10 total episodes and you get a complete super scary story! I wouldn't commit to IT just yet since it has another season or so coming in the future. 😊

Robin

I agree it's really the perfect choice for October!! 🎃

Robin

I enjoyed this one a great deal.

Robin

The Others yes!!

Robin

It is so good!!!!

Cynthia

Hell House..The Omen..

Brandey

My FAVORITE time of the year!!! LET'S GOOOOO!!! ¤ The Pope's Exorcist ¤ Paranormal Activity ((It's about 10 of them lmao)) ¤ The Conjuring ((There are 3 or 4 of these and 3 others that are 'backstories'))

Kyndu

Ok... you've reacted to Bram Strokers "Dracula. How about Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein"

Stacey

That one is rough! It literally made me sick to my stomach, and I have an iron stomach and love scary movies. I cannot get through it. I completely understand why you listed this one. It's the one movie I've warned people about the most.

Stacey

I have not watched this because it has polarizing reviews. I can't decide if it's worth watching.

Tertia Marshall

Candyman...mirrors have never been the same.

Josh

I recommend "Talk to me 🫱."

Kramedog91

28 days later is my all time favorite
