Mary wanted to create the perfect doll irl. The stepmom is literally the perfect doll she made, and they said Mary was living through the dolls. He burned the 101 dolls, but didn't know his dad or stepmom were dolls. So Mary wasn't defeated unless he got rid of them too. I love this movie and your reaction to it! I love when y'all do horror movies :)
