Jason Augustine

He got shot in the Achilles tendon, and then when he stood back up, he got shot through the chest, and it severed his spinal cord

It’s incredibly sad that the government was able to sell that story about defeating communism, and then they simply switch the word to terrorism, and it all begins again For money

Jason Augustine

The sad part about not wanting to hear the rhetoric is that the next generation falls for the same story🙁

There’s a movie called deterrence. We’re at the beginning they are showing Truman speaking. He said that war is old men, talking and young men dying

Excellent choice to watch. As a kid I can remember the nightly news giving updates on the injured and killed. The field reports and then the return of POWs. I have an uncle that is a Vietnam war veteran and he lives a very quiet reclusive life. You are right they should have been treated better. ✌🏼to you both

My Dad was in Vietnam, and so was my Father-in-Law. My Father-in-Law was spit on while he was holding his first born baby, which was my husband. Mental health was a big issue and was not understood at the time..

It's been awhile since I've seen this. You picked a great movie. It was so wrong how everyone treated the vets. I really did enjoy this. Thank you for reacting to this

Dan63!! How it going? Hope all is well. I have a uncle that’s a Vietnam veteran too. I’m grateful that he is still in his right state of mind and doing well. You can’t say that for so many others. This movie gave a excellent depiction of how it was for so many soldiers. This was s must see in my eyes. Thanks for watching and supporting us.
