Highly recommend The Frighteners, The Invisible Man (2020), Get Out (Jordan Peele’s directing debut) and Ghost for Halloween.

This was a difficult choice. They are all great films.

The Conjuring then Misery!

Elizabeth DeMerie

The conjuring is based on a true story.... this movie will introduce you to Ed and Lorraine Warren they were world renowned demonologusts that have helped many people. Lorraine has said this was by far the worst infestation she has ever encountered!!! Just makes the movie creepier from ya lol

Dawn

Misery not really scary

Dawn

How is misery winning it’s not really scary. The conjuring is terrifying

Hard to believe no one is picking The Omen..that movie is a classic..let`s just say that after I watched that movie I said if I ever had a baby boy I didn`t want it to be born with dark hair, lol, needless to say my firstborn(a boy) had a headful of dark hair that even the nurses wanted to put bows in it,lol..It`s just a great movie! It deals with the Antichrist.

I think most people who follow well known paranormal investigators, may be surprised to find out that they started their journey with the Warrens or someone who was part of "The Conjuring" investigation.

Elizabeth DeMerie

So Capito, I knew these were all related with the exception of the nun and the curse of La Llorona....interesting now I must watch those 2♥️😊

The Nun is part of The Warrens' story. No doubt you'll like it. La Llorona does not include the Warrens. I watched the most of the Spanish version before the English one was released. Still need to check that one out. It was intended to be watched at any point during series since the characters are all different. Since you like The Conjuring series, you may like Winchester if you haven't seen it. It's also based on a real house and true story.

As long as it's the original Pet Sematary. I named my youngest son Gage after the boy in the movie ( the character name ). I wanted to name my son that but my grandmother wasn't having it. I can't watch that one part of the movie now, but I LOVE ALL THINGS STEPHEN KING!!! He is a GENIUS!!!! I can read his books front to back and then watch the movie. I read The Stand, which is 1600-2000 pages in about 3 1/2 days. The original movie is the best, although the one made for Netflix isn't too bad. Stephen makes an appearance in all of his movies. Keep your eyes open to see him.
