Kill Bill Vol 1

Comments

Mike Jefferson

All questions will be answered in Vol. 2!!!

Davey

Appreciate you guys shortening the time of the blurred out sections on this watchalong. It kinda ruined some of the other reactions with how much of the movies were blurred

Demetrius loves movies

The o-ren ishii showdown was actually before the vernita green showdown, its just quentin tarantino doing that thing he loves to do, showing the movie to us, the viewer's out of order and leaving it to us to put it in the correct order, he does that with most of his movies. With this movie he once said "volume 1 is the question and volume 2 is the answer, volume 2 will bring it all together for y'all asia and bj

Dee Lawson

It will all be explained in Volume 2,even her name! Love Tarantinos movies!Great reaction!Loved it!

Paul Salvador Estrada

First of all. Yall are so dope. I know AJ is funny as hell outside these reactions. 2nd of all. VOL.2 is better in my opinion. Imagine that. My wife and I love the Kill Bill movies.

Mike Adams

I watch a lot of reactions, I have never laughed as hard as I did with "...It got like the Go-Go Gadget thing on it." Please do Vol 2

Davey

You gotta watch Jackie Brown guys

MD

Of course you need to see Volume 2!

Jerry

Vol I and Vol II are one movie 🤣

Wendy

Please watch Kill Bill Volume 2. Thanks for the reaction. :)

Stacey Capito

This movie is an homage to the older traditional martial arts films, especially Chinese and Japanese. It has a variety of filming styles, most obviously color, black and which, and anime. I love that the Onna Bugeisha, female Samurai, were the underpinning of the film. BJ picked up that Easter egg of The Bride wearing the yellow suit, which was based on the same look Bruce Lee had in one of his films. Don't wait to long in between waiting this one and Vol 2. Vol 2 picks up right where this one left off and ties everything together.

XenoShadowMorph

Yes, you need to watch Vol 2 so dropping 3,00 likes in this comment right now, it explains a lot more and answers a lot of your questions

We thank you to the highest degree for watching and supporting our channel!! Glad you enjoyed Kill Bill Vol. 1!!!

Michael Taylor

The answers are coming in volume 2… In the words of Bon Jovi…… you’re halfway there…

TheYo Show

Volume 2 is great, too. Can't wait to see y'all react to it!

Hey Stacey!!! You are absolutely right!! It definitely had the vibe of a classic Chinese martial arts film. Even down to the scores in the movie. Oh and yes how can I forget the yellow suit which is an ode to the martial arts master Bruce Lee. Thank you for always supporting our channel and providing such an in-depth perspective on movies and music. Blessings

Pop_Pop_Taq

Yes Volume 2 is a great movie as well. You should have no problem getting those likes to get it crackin.

Crispin

hope you guys do volume 2 straight away :)

SilverDoe🎔

You both have done some great reactions? But this has to be my favorite yet! Your one liners were perfect! As perfect as the soundtrack to this, its amazing, the concept and the fighting. Uma, as I've said previous? No-one expected ever something like this from her. She shocked everyone at the time lol. You can see why! I can't wait for volume 2! Great Bruce Lee catch BJ and I think at some point do Bruce's Enter the dragon so Asia can watch the master in action! When the cop in the church arrives at the start and says ''Son number one?'' There was an old detective series called Charlie Chan in the 30s and 50's, iirc, that had so many son's he'd call them by numbers lol Son number one, son number two, and so on! That was a little homage to that :) It's hilarious when she whoops that guys butt and says ''Go home to your mother.'' that is just genius!

James B.

Lmao Asia 10 minutes in oh oh oh no babe we cant watch this haha

pkleo73

unpopular opinion...never liked this movie .dont know why...just, meh. Same with Ingloious Basterds

>>100021923

that's what i mentioned days ago... ASIA WILL COWER IN FEAR this was clearly not her type of movie to watch Gladiator should have been the next movie since it came second in that poll it BETTER be now

autumn

to hop on everyone else's answers... Vol 1/2 aren't sequels, it was all meant to be one movie that ended up just being way too long to release without cutting it up. It's not like a John Wick thing

Tyrie Williams

Side note sort of off the subject. In the opening scene after he shot her in the head the Song that started playing "Bang bang my baby shot me down is originally a Stevie Wonder song. The version in this movie was some woman, IDK and I guess more appropriate for the mood of the film but Stevie Wonder's version is much better to me

MikeyB!

LOVED this reaction, yall! No one ever reacts to Kill Bill that I have seen. As others have said previously... LOVE the nod the old martial arts films... Such a good watch. Very stylistic... Not for everyone... But by far, my fav Tarantino movies.

MD

@Tyrie: The song was actually composed by Sonny Bono and released by Cher in 1966. Stevie Wonder later released a cover that same year. The version in the film is sung by Nancy Sinatra, always was a fave

Richard Griffin
>>100066018

I believe Tyrie i think the original was recorded by Cher and the version played in this movie is the Nancy Sinatra version, and i dont think Stevie Wonder did a version of this song.

Greg

Part 2 completes the story and you will find all the answers from that. Now, you have to do a reaction to Part 2!

Tyrie Williams
>>100066018

Stevie Wonders version was from the his Down to Earth Album I have the Album released in 1966 and if Cher released it first Then Great Glad you know 👍

Tj

BJ: "Something about a woman when they got a pan in they hand" lmao

Ed Curtis

Please do Volume 2, too! Not to beat a dead horse, but they were written as one story that was just split into two films. The second half of the story is epic!

Ed Curtis

Did y’all say that you wanted 5k views? Your YouTube vid of this got like 60k views in 2 days! Bring on Volume 2 please! 🙏

p webb

cant wait for vol 2

De

We Need Part 2 ASAP

Bryan Sproles

I haven't watched Kill Bill almost since the movies came out, so I remembered the general story, but I forgot a lot of specifics, and it was almost like seeing it again for the first time. Gonna watch Volume 2 later today :)

Greg Hoenig

BJ's "Go Go Gadget" and "turnin a hard top into a convertible" are probably my two favorite reactions from anything y'all have reacted to. Had watched on YouTube before but wanted to give to try the full patreon experience. You guys are the best!

Bob

Found y'all through the GoT reactions and going through the back catalogue, loving the QT reactions. "That's how you turn a hard top into a convertible" I almost choked on my drink hahahahahahah

Bob
>>103544671

I'm late to the party but I almost choked at the convertible line hahahaha

Michael Lynch

Nice. Can’t wait to watch this one with you. Something I always like in Tarantino movies is his choice of music to go along with a scene. He is such a genius.

Alanna
>>99995029

Rza (Wu-Tang) and Lawrence Bender, along with Tarantino, produced the soundtrack for Kill Bill. I love his music choices too, always spot on.
