Oh yay!!! Love this movie!!

Stacey Capito

Robin Williams and Nathan Lane are comedy gold. Such a great movie!

Alanna

Ooh can't wait to see you guys react to this one 😁

SilverDoe🎔

Another great movie. Such a phenomenal cast too - They bounced off each other so well. Looking forward to this, great pick guys! Mississippi burning with Gene Hackman and Willem Defoe is one of the best, and most powerful, movies ever made. Based on a true story, I highly recommend it to hopefully go on the future list.

JL Green

Being a movie fanatic, I saw this film when it was initially released. Hilarious stuff. I look forward to watching your reaction.

daisy

Great reaction to such a good movie! Gene Hackman in drag at the end never ever gets old. Speaking of drag, I'd love y'all to check out "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar". Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes and John Leguizamo as drag queens. It is divine!!

Dorinda Schaper

Oh this is such a great movie! I'm excited to watch with you :-)

Tara

Such a great hilarious movie that I hadn’t seen in years. So much fun! Gene Hackman played the Senator. Nathan Lane played Albert and yes, he is Timon from the original Lion King. He has been in other movies playing straight men and he is also a well known theater actor

Mickey D

Hadn't seen this before, honestly liked it more than I thought I might. Hank Azaria was brilliant in a supporting role.

Lazarus Gonzales

Great pick! Really funny movie! Can’t wait to see your guys’ reaction

Dorinda Schaper

Nathan Lane (Albert) was the voice of Timon, yep :-) he's great in anything he does :-)

Rita Bickford

First time seeing this movie. It was very good love Gene Hackman and Robin Williams 👍👍

Linda Sarancha

Love this movie, love you guys! ❤️

Chris Marrero

Really shocked Asia didn't know who John Wayne was. But this was a great and fun reaction to watch from you both. BJ when he saw Gene Hackman come out in drag at the end though.....that expression was priceless!

Potato Jones

This is a classic! And ahead of its time for sure. There wasn't a lot of content in the mainstream about gays or LGBTQ back in the day.

Michelle C

Oh my god one of my favorite movies I'm so glad you're watching this one!!

Pink Martini AZ

Such a fun flick! My husband and I always chuckle at Albert making his little fainting noise wearing his white clogs. They must have had a blast making it.

Chryss Guiler

I love this movie, and I loved watching it with you! Watch almost any of John Wayne's westerns to see his way of speaking and walking. A man larger than life, beloved by many. One of my favorites is Rio Bravo. He won the Best Actor Oscar for playing Rooster Cogburn in the movie True Grit (1969).

I love To Wong Foo! It was made with 3 very strong masculine leading actors at a time when when drag queens weren't as publicly accepted. The interviews with the actors and what they took away from the experience was eye opening and inspirational.

FINALLY have a chance to watch... hopefully, barring me passing out. I will say this is the first time I've watched a Robin Williams since his death. He was a huge loss and I know I'm still not over it. I am dying to see you two though so I think this may be OK. This movie is everything. Oh! Fun fact, unsure if anyone mentioned it but Harrison Ford's wife, Calista Flockhart, plays the son's fiancé. You got to give it to Indiana Jones, that's a 22 year age gap!!!

Glad y’all watched this movie. The Birdcage has one of Robin Williams best performances and even Oprah interviewed Robin Williams and Nathan Lane about this movie. https://youtu.be/dZwxysUwHCg

Terrie Calabrese

I'm glad you both enjoyed this movie. Nathan Lane played Albert. Gene Hackman was the daughter's dad. Whenever I watch a Robin Williams movie, I pray for him to be in peace. Great reaction!

Michelle C

One of my favorite movies if you want another good movie you should watch To Wong Foo with Patrick swayze

Christina Terwilliger

You should definitely checkout To Wong Fio, Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar. It's pretty fun and big stars are in it

MamaKat114

One of my favorite all time movies. Robin Williams was great in everything he did. But this one playing across from Nathan Lane is perfection

MamaKat114

Oh I just remembered. Hank Azaria that plays the house boy (to a perfection) is an amazing actor & does many voices on the Simpsons (I don't watch, but I've known that about him). But to see the difference in his acting capabilities. Check out a 1 min clip on YouTube from Ray Donovan (freaking amazing show btw). Called "what's her name". Complete 180 in his acting capabilities

Awilda Luciano

I forgot how funny this was, you gotta check out Too Wong Foo starring Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes and my favorite John Leguizamo🤣

David Croft-Ogawa

If you guys like this movie, you might like the comedy, “In & Out.”

Ross Johnston

Oh man, I love this movie! They are who they are, and no changing who God made you. A bit over the top with everyone, makes it amazing! That damn senator though, a typical ignorant politician. LOVE the reaction and commentary!!! Love watchin' y'all.

Joan Goodrow

This movie was so hilarious, Gene Hackman as the senator was perfect casting and Nathan Lane who was in the Lion King, Dianne Weist who has been in so many movies was amazing.Hank Azaria as Agador so funny and of course Dear Robin, as always wonderful. I love this movie and saw with a close girlfriend who sadly has just passed away and this movie will continue to keep her memory close to my heart as when we saw it we were helpless with laughter 😂 Thanks you two!

CD

Thank you for doing this one!! Hadn’t seen it in forever and so fun to watch again ☝️ one of my all time favs, laughing sooooooo hard I cried, it’s a classic! Another classic Robin Williams is « Good Morning Vietnam » with an awesome soundtrack too if you have seen it- let’s get that one on the next poll !! 😊
