Melissa

Keeping us fed. I love it. And now I have something to watch tonight!

Davey

The image quality of the show is blurry, small and dark again. Come on guys fix up. Can you not enlarge it and up the resolution PLEASE.

Mickey D

The doctor is not a woman Tony would normally be attracted to, because he has no control over her. Another difficult feeling he has to deal with amidst all the craziness.

Jesse

Suggestion - now that you're doing tv series you should check out season 1 of True Detective

Fred bates

I love the intro music. I think you guys should listen to it sets up the show

Dan63

Can you imagine having to answer the questions from your kids

Jerry

I remember my older brother telling me that bulls on the hill story long before this show. He loves giving little lessons like that lol.

Jay Reeves

Wait until you get to the 3rd seeason episode 4.

Darth Brooks

Another great reaction! I know this is out of context on a Sopranos post but please watch Hook sometime. Favorite movie growing up and stars Robin Williams, Julia Roberts and Dustin Hoffman. It's also on HBO Max just to save you the trouble of looking lol.

ViVaLaRan .

Still skippin the intro, saaaad

Had to pause it to comment bc College has one of my fave moments in the whole series & i feel like the symbolism escapes most people, but BJ, you nailed it. Tony kills the rat, right? He's glad he found him, he's glad he won the game of cat & mouse and killed the guy before the guy killed him, hes glad & happy with himself, feeling satisfaction-the rat didnt get away with it! & then right on the heels of that feeling, the ducks fly by overhead-the ducks that symbolized his family and were a connection to his own humanity, and like you said, his soul. In that moment, its like the ducks are actually flying away with another piece of his soul, because he's just done an evil thing. You can feel it too as he stares up at them, suddenly going from satisfaction at the hit, to utter emptiness as another bit of his soul leaves him. Its an incredible moment & i love that you recognized it.

2 more things-HBO was really worried when they saw the script for ep 5. Remember this was before Breaking Bad, Dexter, ect.. before the dsrk hero, or anti-hero. Execs were worried if the audience watched Tony murder someone with his bare hands they'd hate him & the show would tank. Ultimate showrunner David Chase and James Gandolfini convinced them that it was the only way-it wasnt believable that Tony would just let a rat go. BUT-they insisted that it be shown the rat was now a drug dealer-apparently in their eyes thst made it more permissable for Tony to kill him 😄 Secondly: the end of ep 6, when Tony and Carm are sitting out by the pool talking, is Edie Falcos (the actress who plays Carmela) favorite scene of hers in the whole show 🥰

Great reactions + great episodes! I live 5 minutes away from Bowdoin College, pretty cool to see Maine featured in the show. 🥰

Cynthia M Farrington

I viewed this significance differently. I view the ducks flying away as a symbol that Tony has saved his family. He didn't know it, but the rat was going to have him and Meadow killed as they left the college. The rat lied about why he didn't kill them the night before. There were witnesses and he would have blown his cover. He was making plans to get someone else to kill them.

Bill William

There is literally nothing wrong with it. Every episode they've posted have been fine.

Dan Sopranos

Soprano is so good it doesn't even feel like a Movie ... it feels like Reality Tv😄

joel nygen

great reaction guys :) can you please make the movie screen a little bigger again if you can thanks

Michelle C

Please play the theme song it's driving me crazy that you're not it's what gets you in the mood for the show it's so classic 😂

Dan Sopranos

Yeah they're not getting Made into the Family if they skip in the future 😂 😂 😂

duane

Absolutely thrilled that you are doing this

Trying very hard not to talk about things from my theology degree days regarding the scenes with the priest and the words of Jesus and stuff...but the sun does in fact shine on the righteous and the wicked alike. it also could mean they are judged the same, whether they people themselves to be good or bad people. All fall short of the glory of God...that's why Jesus' sacrifice was so essential...Uh, guns! Grammar! Other stuff I usually talk about! 🤣

Dan Gonya

Oh no! I just thought of something! in the beginning of the episode, 5 I guess, they showed that Tony's girlfriend is sick, and his wife is obviously sick. Now the priest finished the chalice...what if he comes down with the flu or something and then Tony gets the wrong idea?! Ah geez...wait, you guys watched this a long time ago, and frankly, my answers could come in the next episode...Anyway, that's just where my mind went when Asia mentioned that the wife was sick and then the priest finished the wine...It's weird talking into the past. Plus everyone on planet earth has probably seen this show but me at this point.

Dan Gonya

Okay, apparently nothing came of everyone being sick with the flu. I thought that was gonna lead somewhere.

girlygirl9983

How BJ see that small detail at the end? Lol I thought they were just showing us all that for cinematography purposes haha
