On EVERYTHING- I ain't never been more bewildered and shocked by a TV show than I was by the last scene of episode 8. I was watching it when it premiered. Me, my roommates at the time, and our neighbors. We'd finish the weekly episode and talk it over a while- but not this time, jack. We kept backing it up and rewatching like it was finna change or something 😆 then we just kinda sat quiet for what seemed like an eternity haha it still hits hard even when I know what's coming!

I think Prince Oberyn’s death may have been the most upsetting to me up to this point. I really wanted him to avenge his family, and I really thought he had him. He just got a little too cocky. Seasons 4 & 5 were definitely my favorite. So much packed into these episodes.

The battle at the wall is my favorite! The music is so intense, the one shot scanning the entire battle, the attention to every main characters moments, then the men holding the gate while yelling their vows always gets me and gives me goosebumps and ofcoarse, Jon and Igrid, you guys, it gets me every time so tragically beautiful. I am glad that she was able to relay to Jon that she still loved him even if she didn’t say it, he knew and she knew that he knew 😫🥹

For me, one of the saddest parts is loss of Grenn and Pyp. They were in the OG crew from day one. Grenn went out as an epic G holding the gate, but it was sad to see them go. Pyp got a raw deal with the arrow through the neck. He was a singer.

At the opening credits of the next episode, Asia and BJ are still discussing what happened. Asia: “He popped his head! He popped his whole head!” BJ: “Yeah, he did. He did.” Your reaction and convo afterwards was awesome. Hahaha. Game of Thrones does not disappoint. Oh and that little kid shooting and killing Ygritte was perfection. Because it was her and those bald headed freaks who slaughtered that kids parents and his village before his eyes. I never cared for Ygritte. I woulda shot that beeyach too.

Even with as numb to gruesome stuff this show has made me, I must admit, I've only ever watched/heard Oberyns death ONE TIME. As soon as he knocks the Mountain down its on to the next episode for me. I watch reactions of it on mute with my hand shielding the bottom box... NO SHAME 🫣🫣🫣🫣

Asia, BJ; you reacted to the song "To Sir, With Love" (Lulu) over a year ago, and yet you have yet to react to the movie by the very same name (1967)! It’s strange watching Pedro Pascal play Joel on The Last of Us and then playing Prince Oberyn in Game of Thrones with you guys. But I’m having a blast! Prince Oberyn had him. He was winning up until he got cocky and let the mountain trip him… ughhh I really liked Prince Oberyn. The scene of Jon holding Ygritte as she died gets me every time. They really did love each other even though they were on different sides. It was also sad to see Pyp die with an arrow through his neck and Grenn die holding the gate. They have been with Jon from the first day he arrived at Castle Black.

I watched "The Mandalorian", before watching this show, so I didn't even realize that Pedro Pascal played in both shows, until way after the fact.

When they castrated men, back in the day, I read, that they cut all of it off, and then insert a catheter tube into the bladder (So, the victim can urinate), and sew the tissue back together around the tube. Also, It is made clear in the show that they cut all of the private parts off of Varys, Theon, and the Unsullied Army.

Everytime I see Oberyn's teeth fly out, I want to puke, but then I remember, that I still have to watch his head get crushed like a grape. And, his woman, Ellaria Sand, let out the most horrific scream. I wish they would have kept his character around longer. And, yeah it is sad, when Ygritte dies, but hey, they are married in real life, and have many more years together, more than likely.

Since Lysa was dead, the guards at the Bloody Gate had no good reason to let Arya and the Hound into the Eyrie. Those guards did not know of Sansa's presence - as Sansa Stark - they thought she was just a Niece of Littlefinger/Baelish. And Sansa had no idea that Arya was anywhere near either... So Arya and the Hound turn back... No reunion. Damn but this show is insane with near misses.
