Oh noooooo. Please don't tell me you're going to watch all of these. You still haven't finished The Austin Powers series. I can't stand Harry Potter.

Flyin Hawaiian

Hell Yeah! Asia and BJ keep pushing out the best. Can't wait for this ride through the wizarding world. Grew up reading all the books and the movies do a pretty good job of capturing the magical world. Let's GOOO

Red Dwarf

YESSSSSS!!! I can never relive the magic of standing in line at a bookstore at midnight for the next book or seeing the movies for the first time always released around my birthday BUT I can get a taste of it again watching first time reactions! I am so excited for this :-)

Hyperion

SAY WHAT??!! :D Today is a wonderful day!

Fran

Yesssssssss!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!

Jesse

POTTER?…..ARE YOU KIDDING ME? ………..THIS IS AWESOME YO!!! Asia and BJ. You two just went up to the top of my people who rock scale. Thanks a ton. This will be a lot of fun.🔝🏰 🧙

Melissa

Well this is a nice surprise! Can’t wait to watch this one!

JessicaB

Get out! didnt expect this! I KNOW this will be fun with you two <3

Darth Brooks

Well I guess another rewatch is in order with the A and B fam!

Rachel Sisk (Rayray)

What?? Love these movies! Reminds me of when my 5 kids were little we would take them to the movies to see each one! Such great memories!

Rhonda Turner

Super happy you are watching Harry Potter - I think you'll have fun with it!

Oh man you brought back some memories. Standing in line at Barnes and Noble at midnight. Then I would spend the whole weekend reading/finishing the book. My dad would get so frustrated because as he said "We just bought you that damn thing" and he really couldn't be too upset because I was in fact doing something productive in reading. It wasn't always easy for them to buy me those books. But they always made it happen!

Julie A

I haven’t seen this since it originally came out. This should be fun!

mythicalreturns

So glad you guys are watching these movies, they’re so good!

Brandi Davis

I was dying when you said that the Goblins looked like leprechauns, because one of them was actually Leprechaun from the movie LOL

Deavon Richards

This will do while I wait for more Game of Thrones

dabbingcannasseur

Harry Potter was such a huge part of my childhood. Born in 91, started reading them in like '98, and then kept up with them all the way through the end. I read a lot as a kid, in part because that was still a viable form of entertainment pre-internet we know now lol. Always preferred the books to the movies, mainly because they're able to go so much deeper into things... but the movies are at the end of the day a pretty amazing adaptation of the books, and brought to life the amazing world that JK had created for us. Can't even count how many times I've rewatched this series, more than happy to do it again lol.

Mary Merry Berry

Asia you were right! The Hogwarts Caretaker (named Filch) IS the same actor who plays Walder Frey in Game of Thrones! This is such a great series of movies! What a fun surprise!

SilverDoe🎔

My son was a huge Harry Potter fan. We took him to Warner Bros studios in London and he got to walk up Diagon alley where Harry got his wand from and stand outside Privet drive but the castle is stunning. Loved your reaction to this, can't wait for the next. Thank you for making me smile! It was much needed :) They do start to get darker, but its so worth the ride! Adults absolutely love it as much as kids do for good reason!

Kara Davis

The actor that played Dumbledore is Richard Harris (amazingly talented man, RIP), the actor for Gandolf is Ian McKellen. Did you recognize the actor that played Snape? He played Hans Gruiber in Die Hard. I really hope you continue the journey into the Wizarding world

Calbah

You were right that the actor who plays Filch, the caretaker is the same actor that plays Walder Frey in Game of Thrones.

Ashley S

I'm with you Asia on the tucking in the feet! I got you, girl! :) Loved your reaction to this :)

Pele'sFyre

The grounds keeper guy w the cat is Walder Frey!

Fish Rae

The guy taking them to Hagrid was Walder Frey who killed rob stark

Karl Kraus

Happy you started on this wonderful series! You will get the story of a generation when you progress through it! This is 8 total movies, so sit back and relax The story will start showing darker undertones by the third one and really ups the ante by the fourth, so looking forward to following your journey here!

Karl Kraus

When the first movie came out and saw all the promos, I was so excited! It looked awesome! The book was literally right there on the screen! The adaptation looked flawless! It was Thanksgiving 2001 when it did get released, when I was 7 and I saw it in Florida with family while visiting my grandparents and the only image I remember seeing was Voldemort's disembodied head getting revealed on top of Quirrell's The books were my top favorites when I was in school and I would read them and re-read every chance I got! Next to Star Wars, Harry Potter was my childhood!

Karl Kraus

BJ, Love the Packers cap! Born and raised a fan of the team! Thanks for the rep! Universal Orlando DOES have a theme park for Harry Potter called the Wizarding World of HP Disney doesn't need HP they have enough financial conduits! Plus, they wouldn't have a prayer on acquiring the rights from Rowling

Michael King

Oh hell yeah🤣 this was one of my suggestions. I was craving a rewatch after playing Hogwarts Legacy for a while. I didn’t know when so I started the rewatch, got up to 5, but I’m definitely starting over again now.🫣

melvin pierce

i am so excited i hope you both like it so we can watch all the episodes together

Fayus Life

The movies get better with each one. My personal favourite is The Goblet of Fire.

TinCan Cosmanaut

For sure keep watching. You’ll gain a lot of likes and new fans if u do. These movies a really beloved and super high quality. I personally watched these an adult and I really enjoy the stories.

Michael King

It’s funny you guys mentioned they look like Leprechauns. The one who asks for Harry’s key and takes them to the vault is played by Warwick Davis, who played The Leprechaun in those horror movies, I think the last one they made was Leprechaun in the Hood. Nice spotting!

Amy Silknitter

I haven't even watched yet and I'm so deliriously happy. I don't know if there's any question on if you guys are going to continue? But continue. They get SO GOOD.

JMCN1990

It says "Sorry. Because of its privacy settings, this video cannot be played here."

Lisa Chaffins

You need to watch all these movies. Each one just gets better...Love ya'll!!!!

Nicky the Greek

Yo forget that Packers trash! SKOL baby Vikings!:) lol

Peggi Parente Elshawarby

Cant wait to watch the entire series with you. Hope you watch them in a row. They are so addicting. I love Harry Potter. Hi from NY.

Elizabitty213

So happy you guys got to these. They are my part of the movies I rewatch when I need a pick me up! Next time you go back to universal and go to The Wizarding World park it’s gonna feel different 💖😃

Andi Szilagyi

No way. I am so looking forward to watching these with you two!

Pink Martini AZ

Oh wow you are doing the Harry Potter series! How super fun! Wasn’t that a cute movie? The books were so magical and they did a good job trying to capture that in the movies. I love this one because of three reasons. 1) they are so little and cute 2) it’s colorful and bright. I HATE the other films having those dreary blue filters. I can’t stand those blue, green and brown filters on any movie. And 3) I loved Richard Harris as Dumbledore. Better than the other actor.

Hey, it seems some browsers have done an update, So you need to check your settings or try a different browser.

Elizabeth DeMerie

Asia scary movie my feet MUST be covered...but..sleeping they must be OUT!! Lmao

Danna

Yes, you did recognize Walder Frey.

Mitchell

you guys are the best! I hope you continue and watch the rest of the movies.

Karl Kraus

Hermione is pronounced Her-my-n-e don't worry if you couldn't say it right at first one character in the books couldn't either

Karl Kraus

Definitely check out movie #2 soon! The Chamber of Secrets! It plays out like a children's detective story, which made it my favorite of the whole series! The characters you will meet along the way are sooooo awesome! They'll be friends and enemies to Harry, some of which will have something to do with Harry's past, as well as making his Hogwarts family grow bigger and closer together

Mr Jackpots

I'd forgotten how irritating Hermione was in the first movie. The way she talks is so weird. It's like she talking to someone who is hearing impaired and she wants to make sure they can read her lips.

Roxanne LIL CRIP Kemmerer

Asia girl, I am the complete opposite when I snuggle up with a blanket! I GOTTA have my toes sticking out or I just cannot get comfy. Even in my recliner watching a movie or TV show, gotta have that blanket, and gotta have those toes poking out 😂😂

Maryanne Murphy

I would read a chapter each night to my son as his bedtime story, we did the whole series of books that way and went to every movie when it was released. Huge Harry Potter fans and so very happy you have discovered these movies.

Mike West

glad you are doing this story line you will enjoy it and we will enjoy your reaction lol

Anthony Jackson

Wow! I was just asking for this! So much fun! Thanks!! :)

Alicia
>>108361950

Holy cow, I’ve seen these movies several times and I never made the connection!

Alicia

This series is so incredibly good! I was slightly older than the target audience when the books came out and only got around to reading the first one before the movies started being released. People who’ve read the books will give you a lot of useful insights that didn’t make it into the movies. I like all of these movies but I personally find that I got more into the story later into the series. I think you will both enjoy it as well. Alan Rickman, who plays Professor Snape, is one of my all-time favorite actors. He is so unique, and I enjoy every character I’ve seen him play. Sadly, he passed away in 2016 after a battle with cancer that few people were aware of, including many of his fellow cast members in these movies. He’s still missed. ❤️

Jill N

Glad y’all liked it. Subtitles might help you guys with their accents

Melissa

Great reaction! I’m so happy you liked it. These are really great movies and I think you’ll enjoy them all if you keep going with the series.

Dan Gershgol

Richard Harris is a very famous actor playing Dumbledore. He always had a gentle voice. By the second movie came out his voice was even quieter. Remember his last role in a movie was Marcus Aurelius in Gladiator. By that time his voice was just a whisper. He died shortly after.

Shyanne Shadle

You guys have to keep watching! Love you two!

Jake

Stick with these movies, they get more grown-up and darker from the 3rd movie on

Megabee

I hope you love these films as much as I do. Excited to join you on this journey!

Rio Mendoza

You guys are so lucky to be watching this for the first time. I wish I could go back and relive and be amazed all over again. It's such a wonderful world and to experience it for the first time again would be amazing

thebirdcatcher1

(Harry and McGonagall walk into Quirrel's weird looking class) BJ: "What's he teaching??" Hahahahaha

Rose Dallman

Of note, Hermione's name is pronounced: her-MY-oh-nee. The accent is on the second syllable. I pronounced it wrong for the first several books, until I saw a JK Rowling video. LOL

Shannon

So excited you guys are watching the Harry Potter movies!! They get progressively darker as they go along but also better and better with each movie. You will be amazed by the awesome storytelling in this series! Can’t wait for your next reaction to the next movie!! ❤️🫶🏻

Russ

I own this series. I love that you guys are reacting to this. You are so good with picking your reactions.

Amy Silknitter

So yes. That was Walder Frey. Argus Filch is his name in this series. I could not be more excited. Thank you.

Rob Dog

Asias smile literally warms my heart 🙏

Vol

Subscribed to your patreon to watch this along with y'all! I hope you do the whole series of movies, I really enjoy your reactions :D

MikeyB!

Ooh, Please please PLEASE keep going..... I know you'll fall in love with them!

the raven

Love the movies but a lot more is explained in the books. Especially the first 3

Adam smith

You guys never cease to amaze me with your mispronunciation of names in everything lol. Especially when that name is told to you 20+ times aha

Brandi Davis

There are 11 or 12 actors in the HP movies that are in GOT, I hope you can pick them out!

Michael Paddon

Movies were good, and did fix some of the bad plot holes in the books, but at the same time they lack so much of the detail too. Can't say I liked Hermione much in first one due to her being a know it all and master spell caster right off the bat. She had same up bringing with muggles as Harry did, so her knowledge was far-fetched so early on. Plus in the movies she steals a lot of Ron's lines from the books for some reason.

WindinSpace

Im so excited to see you guys react to the rest of the hp series! yall are quickly becoming my favorite movie reactors because of how attentive yall are to the story and the details while still being entertaining! every movie in this series gets better and better the more you go on, and the plot matures with the main characters, it's a lot of fun.

Kriven

You all need to totally hit up https://harrypottershop.com/collections/sweets-and-treats and get a pack of the (Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans) to try before one of the next movies in the series. (Butterbeer) isn't that bad either like a butterscotch/cream soda. Assuming you don't mind splurging a bit on this stuff. Think it would be great to see. Cheers and thanks for the reactions.

Schoolof HardKnocks
>>108592343

Since both her parents are muggles Hermione wouldn't have known anything about magic and the wizarding world until she received her letter from Hogwarts. I'm sure she would have felt nervous and intimidated leading up to her first term. It's mentioned in the books that she read all of her textbooks before school even started.

Shelley

Love Harry Potter, you’re going to love the rest of the films. You should both download pottermore to see what house you’re in. I honestly wish I could watch these for the first time again.

Carl 🐉

So glad you finally decided to watch this series. Make sure you watch the rest of the movies while everything is still fresh in your mind. j/s

Sharon Bushie

Hey when is the next instalment coming

Kyle Knapp

When will you be doing the next movie ????

Logan Nelson
>>108592343

she had a couple months of reading while harry was visiting islands in the ocean... also, her parents were uber-supportive

Jonah Bertorelli

I resubbed to the patreon for waterboy and in hopes that you'll get another couple harry potters out within the month. lol Hope to see more pop up soon!

Jesse McAdams

Snape (the teacher at 1:00:00 mark) is the main bad guy in the 1st Die Hard. He passed a couple years ago along with most of the teachers and Hagrid in the film.

Richard Zinns

Just in case you don't know: Nicholas Flamel was a real alchemist, who according to this story has used the stone to stay alive for the several centuries since his actual lifetime; he is the only real historical person mentioned anywhere in the Harry Potter books or movies. Also, as you've almost certainly learned by now: yes, David Bradley (Argus Filch in these movies) also played Walder Frey in Game of Thrones. Great reaction as always, and I look forward to the rest of this series.

Lina Distadio
>>109330422

Also, Richard Griffiths who played Uncle Vernon, and Helen McCrory who played Malfoy's mum both passed as well. Did most of the teachers pass? I never realized. All of the actors who played the main teachers (except the first Dumbledore, Snape, and Hagrid) are still with us as far as I know. At the very least, Maggie Smith, Michael Gambon, Warwick Davis, Miriam Margoyles, David Thewlis, Brendan Gleeson, Kenneth Brannagh, Ian Hart, Imelda Staunton, Emma Thompson, and Jim Broadbent are all still alive.

Lina Distadio
>>108587458

it's like an easter egg hunt but dark, British, and with no candy. I'm totally here for it lol

Chris

More Harry Potter please 🙏

TyphlosionGang

Best part of this reaction was realizing you have reacted to Stranger Things on Patreon, ayy

Bboyblock .

I know i'm late but man think of how much fun these kids had the directors tried so hard to make normal school studies happen

Mick Nunn

I watch these movies probably every year or 2. Nice to watch along with you both. it's the Philosophers stone though, not sorcerer's.

MertzRocks
>>158320367

It's a choice, really. They were released with different titles in different regions. But yes, *historically* it would be Philosopher's... in D&D too lol.

MertzRocks
>>109507144

He's also in an early scene of Capt. America The First Avenger, in Norway when Red Skull / Schmidt came for the Tesseract.
