Wooohooo. So excited right now pushing play. Thank you guys so much! Comment section went crazy #allvotesmatter

Carl 🐉

I can’t believe this movie beat Iron Man. smh 🤦🏻‍♂️

Tracy Smith

Yes! I’m a huge Stephen King fan, even though not all of his books make good movies I find this one excellent. Enjoy

Rowan

Yes! How's your stomachs doing after THAT scene? lol

SilverDoe🎔

Get's self prepared lol - Damn that was fast! Thank you :)

JL Green

I guess I'll have to check it out you guys because it was a "Misery" to watch 😆

JessicaB

You guys are so quick! So grateful! Cant watch this kinda stuff alone so this is perfect!

Pele'sFyre

If yall dont love this cockadoodie movie then i dont know what to tell ya! 😂

Darth Brooks

11/22/63 is my personal favorite King novel. The mini series was also good but felt rushed and left a lot out.

Darth Brooks

This gives me hope for Ace and Major Payne since the poll isn't officially over. Watch em all I say, you won't be disappointed and we could use more yucks and less intensity from time to time. ✌❤ A&B fam!

I think they are in the business of making us all happy and eventually will watch everything for us. They really are amazing people. They have made life so much fun for me. I don't have any family so them along with you guys are the closest thing for me. I love being a part of this community.

Michele G

YEEEEEEAH !!!!!!

Lewsifer

James Caan is a legend. Some other movies with him I'll suggest Slither(1973), Freebie and the Bean(1974), Rollerball(1975) and Bulletproof(1996). And I can't forget him in The Godfather and Elf which are must watch.

Stacey Capito

I read the book before the movie came out and the casting is perfection... they couldn't have picked better actors. Also, King said that the theme of the book is one of his biggest fears. Another great movie with Kathy Bates that you're guaranteed to love is Fried Green Tomatoes. All the actors in that movie are top notch, but to see how Kathy Bates can go from Misery to Fried Green Tomatoes is awe inspiring.

N M

Wow, that was fast! 😝 thank you!

Matthew

Guys what happened to the 1080p option? 720 sucks on 4k :D

Nuthin Good at 4

Yoooo! So glad y’all reacted to this!!! Hilarious comments…the disbelief on y’all’s faces when she pulled out the sledgehammer!?…hahahaha…too good…thanks I really had a blast watching…definitely hope y’all watch more Stephen King movies…thanks again…

shawn boyce

Being a fan of anything is crazy if you stop & think about it. That being said I'm a Stephen King fan (books more than movies) a giant Raiders fan (until magnetic gloves, can't hurt anybody and last few seasons events) and kinda an Asia & BJ fan(not a hobble you psycho) I just enjoy watching other people watching stuff I've already seen (ok that's crazy if you think about it) 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪😉😉

Darth Brooks

Mama said, mama mama said always use a sledgehammer to hobble your victims. Now that's what I call high quality Misery.

Jesse McAdams

All I could think when he was looking thru the news clippings was Finkle is Einhorn... Einhorn is Finkle...

Kelsey Perez

The book is worse than the movie, and the movie is pretty horrific, but so so good. Kathy Bates deserved her Academy Award.

Michele G
>>112714772

I was going to suggest that too !!! I love Fried green Tomatoes! Kathy Bates was so good in that too. 💜💜

Michele G

I’m y’all’s # 1 fan!! 😜 ⚒️ 😂😂 also Asia’s face the whole time was cracking me up. I love this movie! It’s been a while since I’ve seen it so thanks for letting me watch it with y’all !! Great reaction !

Stacey Capito

At the end of the movie Asia and BJ said "Psycho" several times. Psycho would be another great movie to react to... it changed the way movies were made and marketed. Film students still study this movie and Alfred Hitchcock films.

Duarte Dunn

This is a great movie. I never get tired of watching it.

T’michelle

Yes Kathy Bates did a phenomenal job in this movie she won a Oscar for her role. Great reaction guys I love this movie

Goldie Schooch

I love to watch this movie with someone who hasn’t seen it…I knew watching it with you guys was going to be a blast! Asia’s little comments & concerned faces, BJ’s utter shocked face & his laughter at certain parts was all priceless. Thanks for a great night. PS IM YOUR #1 FAN 😂 🤣 😆 Gotcha! LOL I think that’s the funniest thing I said all week. Love you guys & Love the Fam✌🏻☀️

Jesse

Yo Asia and BJ. “I’m your number one fan!”Haha

Jesse
>>112720205

Yeah. I think a hack saw and blowtorch were used instead of a sledgehammer. That’s for real hobbling yo.

Miss Gigglebox

I haven't seen this movie in years so it was good to watch it again.

Kim Cottingham

Lmao thru alot of this reaction but the ankle breaking scene was HYSTERICAL!!

Jen Hurlburt

Stellar performance by 2 brilliant actors 👏 Kathy won the Academy Award & Golden Globe for Best Actress 🏆 and they gave us the word "cockadoodie" 😂

CeeCee

The face you made Asia had me cracking up right along with BJ. Great warch, guys.

Mary Merry Berry

I commented on something the other day and and said now I must be a super fan…I have never regretted a comment more 😂…I am a big fan but I am not a Kathy Bates in Misery fan …by the way she won a well-deserved Oscar for this film. This movie taught a generation the meaning of hobbling.

Russ

OMG! I can’t believe you two are reacting to this movie. It is a classic psychological horror.

Rio Mendoza

Great reaction I knew you guys would love this one it's a classic. The acting the writing is amazing. Nobody reacts to the stuff you guys do and that's what makes you so much better than everyone else. Keep up the great work we appreciate it so much. Thank you.

Anthony

I’m your super fan, BJ and Asia. In fact, I’m your number 1 fan in the world! 😉

Rhonda Turner

This was always one of my favorite Stephen King novels, and it was one of the first times I thought someone had done justice to a King book when they turned it into a movie. Kathy Bates was absolutely terrifying - and amazing!! The actor, James Caan, you might recognize from "Elf" (he plays the father). But, the first movie I ever saw him in was "The Godfather" (I think he was in both parts one and two, but it's been a while). Incredibly well-produced, acted, and directed... Another great Kathy Bates movie, btw: "Fried Green Tomatoes" - she's just fantastic!!! Thanks guys, it is so much fun hanging out with you two☺️

Julian Cerda

I think you guys would love to see law abiding citizen if you haven’t already watched it!!!! It’s a great movie and would love for y’all to see it

Veronica B

This was the only book to ever jump scare me. I turned a page, read a line, screamed and dropped the book. 😂

Mr Jackpots

This is what Stephen King really thinks about his more rabid fans. Then again it could have just been the nose candy talking.

Awilda Luciano

First time seeing this movie ever. Happy it was with you guys

Dan Gershgol

First time watching this all the way through. Fantastic thriller. Cathy Bates was in the waterboy too.

Pop_Pop_Taq

Great reaction. Ya Cathy Bates will always be Misery for me. Every time I see movie or a show that she is in I go oh snap don't trust her or piss her off lol.

James B.

Great reaction. 1st time I think I've heard you swear Asia. Luckily annie wilkes didnt hear you haha

Margo Mango

Asia's jaw was dropped the ENTIRE movie, had me cracking up!!! Love ya'll! ❤️

Michael Wise

Every reaction I've seen to this sings the praises of Kathy Bates in the comments, and rightfully so. She gave a performance for the ages. But I'm gonna sing the praises of her co-star, James Caan. He is as responsible for the greatness of this film as she is. She had the juicier part for sure, but he made me feel EVERY bit of pain he was going through! I was convinced that he was really suffering with every move he made! James Caan passed away last year, but he was an actor of tremendous range and ability. I've been a fan of his since the 70's, though NOT his #1 fan! lol Two films of his you really need to see; THE GODFATHER and BRIAN'S SONG. Those two films, along with this one, will give you an idea of the wide range of characters he was able to pull off, and the believability he brought to each one. Great, FUN reaction you guys! THANK YOU!!!

coburnsven

I guess this was back in the day when you could kill a bunch of people, somehow not serve a life sentence in prison, and then just kinda blend back into society without anybody in town knowing what you did

madgirlworld

Saw this movie decades ago and forgot most of it. So scary and creepy. Thanks for watching this. I have more movie suggestions: Arrival and Knives Out. Both are truly excellent, well worth a watch if you haven't seen them yet.

Michele G

I 100% agree. He laid in the bed most of the movie so he had to act with his eyes and facials expressions. I felt the fear he felt and the pain. Excellent acting from both of them !!

Beverly Dancy

In the book. she performed the real Hobbling procedure - done to enslaved Africans and native Americans. She chopped his legs off below the knees and cauterized them. The Castle Rock TV show told the story of Anne Wilkes pre kidnapping Paul Sheldon. Really well done and has more of the Stephen King supernatural bent.

Antonio

Kathy bates was in the water boy as well. Great reaction Asia & BJ 👌

Lewsifer have you seen Theif? That James Caan movie is excellent. My husband agrees. I also liked him in Cinderella Liberty.

precious926

Excellent, entertaining reaction!! Asia's whole "Aww Hell Naw" attitude from the very beginning was so hilarious and spot on. Especially for most women, we can spot that cray-cray from a mile away. I had so much fun watching you guys discover this masterpiece from Stephen King and Kathy Bates. You can see why she won the Oscar for Best Actress for her phenomanal performance. Misery is one of those movies you never forget.

Ashley S

Lovedddd this reaction! One of my favorite movies she's ever been in!

Karim

Excellent movie. The book is 100 times worse. One part she made him drink dirty disgusting mop water to wash down his pills.

Kelsey Perez

I hope you guys check out the show American Horror Story sometime. Kathy Bates is in a lot of the seasons (usually a villain), and since each season is its own story, the actors play different characters each time.

James Forrest
>>114411476

Haha yeah the Hobbling scene is a 1000% worse as well. She actually chops the feet off with an axe and cauterises with a blowtorch. She takes off a thumb with an electric knife as well because he complains about the typewriter :)

wema ocear

You guys should check out Dolores Claiborne. It’s an amazing movie with Kathy Bates and it’s also a Stephen King novel. I believe this is one of Stephen King’s favorite movie adaptions. Highly recommend.
