Oh my god! Yes, another one of my favorites. Michael Mann is an absolute genius. The diner scene with the two main characters is amazing. Thank you so much! You guys are on a roll

Michael Lynch

Oh no. I just lay down to take a nap. This movie is incredible.

Awilda Luciano

This notification just made my day. LETS GO!!!

Davey

Jackie Brown and now Heat! The VIPs are cooking

I've been looking for this everywhere. What platform is it streaming on?

BlackLion

Thats a nice movie

Josh

Should react to "The Town" next. Probably my favorite bank robbing movie ever. I'd probably have it in front of "Heat"

Hammy

Plus what a difference in De Niro's performance as a criminal between Jackie Brown and Heat.

Rio Mendoza

"The action is the juice"

Lisa Schaefer

Bryan M.

Heat is a top 3 all time great movie. imo

Awilda Luciano

Awesome awesome reaction, “where the heart is” is a movie i will stop to see during a pandemic ❤️ Pacino and DeNiro is always a home run. Pacino and DeNiro is always a smash! No matter what!!!!! Don’t forget Stallone. I would love for you guys to invest in the Rocky franchise then Creed. But between Pacino, DeNiro and Stallone de all have projects together But for a new series….. you will love Tulsa King

Awilda Luciano

Yay! You guys would love the series “Tulsa King”!!

Darth Brooks

Diving into this and then if I can make it, finishing up Stranger Things tonight✌❤ A&B fam!

Jake Martin

Shout out to Wendy! A person of impeccable taste 🤌

Em Gomez

Been lovin' the last 2 movies. Jackie Brown and now Heat. Not just cause theyre great movies but were also shot near where I lived as a kid. Jackie Brown and Carson, Hawthorne, Del Amo Mall, Compton and Hermosa Beach, all near the L.A. Harbor area. . Anyways, great picks!

JoMamma_Smurf

One of the best movies ever made. Watch it again and you'll understand.

Karim

Awww Asia wouldn’t turn BJ in. Excellent, excellent movie!

Potato Jones

Collateral with Jamie Lee Fox and Tom Cruise is another Michael Mann film that takes place in LA and deals with crime/action. Y'all would probably love it.

Christina Terwilliger

I love this movie. The only thing I did not like about it was Al Pacino's wife, Justine. I guess maybe I don't understand women who have to know everything that their significant other does at work. Probably because my husband has a career in the military so I am not able to know anything at all of what he does. Guess it takes a strong person to be with someone who is in the military or law enforcement. I dont know, it just bugged me every time she got upset with him. And don't get me started on her cheating on him..... NEWays, this is a great movie. I love all four movies that Robert De Niro has been in with Al Pacino....though I am not sure you can count Godfather Part 2 since they never actually filmed a scene together lol

Wendy

Hope you all are staying safe and cool. Thanks for the reaction. I’m all over the place with movies I love. Hope everyone likes it. Stay tuned for more requests.

Cody Jado

Oh at first I thought this was “The Heat” the comedy movie, I got to recommend that movie, so funny. Bill Burr has a hilarious cameo in it

Brenda Galvez

It was my first time seeing this film. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it with you guys!

Kevin Ahearn

And both Pacino and Deniro had children this year! 80+ yrs old. Good Deniro film Cape Fear! Btw

Shout out to the VIP choice! Just like I mentioned when you watched Thief, Michael Mann movies are the bomb. The movie Collateral and The Insider kick ass too.

Yes! I’ve suggested a few times that they watch that one too. Michael Mann did such an excellent job with that one.

I don’t think she was wanting to know everything. I think she just wanted him to be able to confide in her or lean on her a little (like most spouses) so that he wouldn’t hold it all in. Because she did say I just want to know what’s behind that grim look behind your face. He on the other hand was like I’m not going to share that kind of stuff with you. Too depressing. He didn’t want to bring his work home. I do agree with you that she wasn’t strong enough to handle it and a real B for the cheating.

Ashley Jude is not the country singer, her mom, Naomi Jude, and Wynonna Jude, were both country singers, not Ashley.

The audio of that scene post-bank must've been crazy in the theaters. That entire sequence...when they step into the bank and that music kicks, for my money, the tension of that scene can go toe to toe with damn near anything in cinema. ***SPOILERS*** My read about the situation w/ the girl at the end - from the beginning, they made it clear that she was always very stressed about the relationship with her real father, like when she couldn't find her hair barrettes and started crying, and he was always disappointing her, not showing up, etc. When Vincent (Al Pacino) broke up with her mom at the end and moved out of the house and into the hotel room, she went there and cut herself to try and force him to have to stay together with her mom because he gave her the closest thing to a father that she ever had.

Dan Gershgol

Nice refresher. Had not seen this in a longtime. Forgot a big part of the plot.

Michael Wise

This is a GREAT film. Saw this in the theater when it came out. Great from beginning to end, with THE greatest shootout in movie history. If you guys want to see another exceptional film with Robert DeNiro from around this same era, check out COP LAND, which stars Sylvester Stallone. It's another gripping, intense police/crime drama. Great reaction Asia & BJ! Thank u!

Crazy Taco
