So fun fact, Michael C. Hall (Dexter) and Jennifer Carpenter (Deb) began dating each other during the filming of season 3, and at the end of filming they were married. But like most Hollywood marriages, it did not last more than two years, and by the time season 5 wrapped up, Jennifer Carpenter, filed for divorce on the grounds of a reconcilable differences. Imagine having to work with your ex so closely for three more years.😳 It’s said that the writers would put them in awkward situations for the rest of the episodes just to watch them squirm.🤦🏻‍♂️

Dexter gets a form of redemption from Lumen and her situation. Just as Dexter said in the past “blood always tells” and lumen ( like Luminol what makes blood glow) sparked messages for Dexter and a way of comfort with some facing reality but did he notice what the messages were or meant? Also Dexter comes to a silent truce with Quinn helping clear him of his shoe problem🤝. Onward to my favorite season of the entire show and I gotta say BJ has gotten to the no holding back mentality cause he went savage about that kill🤣🤣🤣.

Can't believe Deb had the cojones to let them go knowing what they've done. Most of her actions and the way she talks to Dexter kinda shows that she knows 99% it's him but doesn't want the confirmation to tear them apart. What BJ said at the end made me laugh, I think at this point we all kind of want to see Deb's *reaction* lmao. Great video yall and excited to move onto Season 6! 💉🩸🔪

Loving these reactions y’all! I’m personally glad we’re moving on from this season. When rewatching this season, I get caught up in the off camera drama that happened (MCH & JS’s affair that broke up MCH’s marriage, allegedly) and get triggered. That’s just my own psychosis however. Lol Edited to add “allegedly”. My bad.

I honestly loved Lumen as a character, and I thought her and Dexter were great together. I don't like her ending. It doesn't make sense to me that she would wake up one morning and be suddenly back to normal. I think they could have developed her character much more. Great reaction though! Can't wait for season 6!

Not true. Someone took a photo of them walking down the street (it was actually during the scene where they are walking down the street) and put 2 and 2 together. But the reason they split was because there was so much cancer in his family, he decided he didn't want to have children and she did.

No way Deb suspects Dexter. She let them go because she watched the tapes and knew what victim 13 went through. She had been through the experience with Rudy and understood the need for revenge.

Maybe you're right but that conversation between them towards the end of the episode about Quinn where Deb is being very vague about how you can know someone but not know them at the same time is a bit telling. I think theres only so much closed-offedness you can take from your own brother for so long until you start to suspect something.

omg! I forgot that Deb almost caught Dexter! That was crazy! While I did enjoy this season, I'm a little disappointed on how fast Lumen decided to leave. It just felt rushed. I thought her performance was great though! Also shout out to Deb!!! She may have bad taste in some of her men BUT she was badass for giving them a warning to leave and making sure they'd be able to get away. I can't wait to start a new season with you guys!!! Thanks for another great reaction!! :)

quinn in s5 is my fav version of him -- out of his love for Deb he protects Dexter after Liddy is found. Even at risk of his own freedom. Then once dexter swaps the blood (off camera) and saves Quinns ass (in return for saving Dexters) they have an unspoken understanding with each other. And that i wish could have gone on for a bit.
