love the early uploads! Yall da best! Lets jump right in its about to get crazy these last episodes!

Matt Law

Yo I had to stop and laugh at Asia slap that mosquito on BJ's arm! Loll

Jonathan D

BJ and Asia, trust me, I was the same way when the BIG REVEAL was revealed. I was like, WTF!!! The producers did a fantastic job of the camera angles of how the viewer thought Gellar was alive. If you look closely at the earlier episodes, you can see how the waiter at the food place poured Travis coffee, and the waiter NEVER made eye contact at Professor Gellar. Usually, when two people sit at a table across from one another, the waiter will 100% ask the patron if he or she wants anything. The waiter never did that. AWESOME REACTION!!!

LynnC

Travis is likely schizophrenic. He killed Gellar long ago, but still continues to see and converse with him. He's a sicko. To BJs point, you see some sick twists on Dexter.

Christina Randall

Geller was all in Travis's mind. Travis did everything. He only sees Geller in his mind. No one has interacted with Geller except Travis.

Jennifer

Hooray! I'm miserably sick today and definitely need something to take my mind off it.

Jennifer

BJ asked in a previous episode how Gellar could be out in public when his picture is everywhere. There's your answer...they Sixth Sensed us!

The way Asia pulled that blanket up so fast, I have tears 😂

We didn’t know either back in the day. Gellar never spoke to anyone else, the waitress only spoke to Travis. Dexter had his eyes closed when Travis said “There’s Gellar”. The last two episodes of this season will catch you off guard as well. The ending is eye popping. Doing a great job A&B, enjoying it all.✌🏻

If you notice in the episode Nebraska, the first decently big sign of something related to the Gellar/Travis thing was Dexter killing the Guy with the pitchfork and how it showed Brian stab him but it was actually Dexter. Saying that Dexter grabbed the Pitchfork and Stabbed him himself because the dark passenger obviously isn’t real it’s just his good and bad thoughts brought into form for him. Just like anything Gellar did it was actually Travis who did it. Brain the darker part (Dexters demon) tries to make him use his urge to kill anyone and Harry the (arguably) Neutral side tries to focus a bad urge (which he acknowledges) to people who killed innocents and got away with it while helping him become more human over time but not entirely because of course he kills people. Beyond that you’ll notice Dexter always just misses Gellar and whenever Travis sees him then once again he just missed him. Also Gellar never directly interacts with anyone which was a small detail. Even when I watched it the first time I was guessing the whole but season but not that and it caught me outta left field😂😂😂😂😂🙌🙌. Anyway guys the end of the world is coming and you will not be ready😈😈😈😈😈. Also sorry for making this so long I seem to have an issue with that😂😂🙏🙏🙏.

Dan Gonya

I KNEW IT! I've been watching this alongside you guys and I even mentioned it before that I thought something was fishy about Geller never interacting with anyone but Travis. Called it😁

Ricky Bobby

You must watch Fight Club! It’s a psychological thriller like this season.

Hei$enberg

Remember earlier in the season when we saw Bryan again and Dexter killed that motel guy. When it looked like Bryan killed him then it transitioned to dexter really doing it. Think about it that way when you think of travis doing all those things. In his mind its as real as Harry and Bryan are to Dexter. Dexter never saw Travis.

Jen Hurlburt

I'm living for you seeing the season finale 😂 I'm gonna take a screenshot of y'alls faces

Jen Hurlburt

Kudos to Colin Hanks (Tom Hanks son) he played the hell out of this role as Travis. He had to keep his eye contact, demeanor, & body language perfect the whole season & nailed it.

Rebecca Karsner

What a crazy twist! I honestly didn't remember any of this so I was just as shook as you guys!! This show had me thinking I lost my mind for a minute!! 🤣 And omg Quinn.. what are you doing?? You're getting really sloppy and maybe need to cool it with the bottle for a bit! I really feel bad for Deb, I think that she has been through so much and genuinely needs somebody to be there for her and she just really never had that. Yes she has Dexter but we know how emotionally closed off he is. Anyways I can't wait to see the conclusion of this season. I think I might remember some things and let me just say.. it's gonna be crazy! 🫣🎃👻😁

Jah (jakwiq) (Jah Quick)

Yalls reaction when yall saw Gellar in that freezer tho. Haha And Harry stay scaring the hell outta Asia. That reaction almost killed me. Keep'em comin. Almost there

Jennifer

Oh, wow, I haven't thought about that series in a long time!

Danna

If they play back the 911 call, I think the police could tell Dexter's voice. He definitely has a distinct voice.

Stacey

A&B mentioned loose ends not getting tied up in the post previous to these 2 episodes... it's like that from here on out. It's my only complaint about both of the Dexter series. I have a feeling that it was a combo of poorly planned budgeting for each season/episode and an inconsistent rotation of writers.

Stacey

💯 agree. Initially it bothered me since he looks and sounds so much like his father... Tom Hanks playing a crazy serial killer just wouldn't work... but Colin makes it his own, definitely not in his father's shadow.

Jesse McAdams

Why would they show you Geller being killed earlier? It would take away the shock and twist. He was already dead and was imagined the entire time by Travis. Travis has mental issues.

asiaandbj

Dexter drops Monday and Thursday :)

Jonathan D

I disagree. Dexter is 8 Seasons. All of the seasons were awesome! If the fans didn't like Dexter, then there wouldn't be 8 seasons.

Stacey

I like all 8 seasons and New Blood, but I don't like how they don't tie up some loose ends of the characters storylines, which started in season 6. I'd provide some examples, but it would include spoilers... especially for S8 and New Blood. 😉 Other fans have this same complaint.

Daniel Lewis

Dexter seasons 6-8 are definitely when this problem began so I agree although it's less prevalent than you are suggesting. Dexter seasons 1-5 were incredible and left almost no loose ends in the story and the storytelling was top level. I think season 6 was clearly a level below the previous seasons but for me that's more of a compliment towards how amazing the previous seasons were than a dig at season 6 which for me was still a good solid season and ended strong and set up for season 7 well and for me season 7 is a very very strong season.

Stacey

I never really give a measurement/prevalence in any of my comments, just said it was noticeable starting in S6. Agree with everything you just mentioned. It's most prevalent in S8 and New Blood (Batista for example). S6 happens to be one of my favorite seasons and storylines. I think introducing a religious aspect to Dexter was brilliant and Colin Hanks was a nice addition.

Jeff Swearingen

Thanks. Waiting patiently. You both are the best.

Kenyatta (KD) Smith

"Don't worry about it Dexter he wasn't innocent" 😂😂

Mami's Gatos

The guy who plays creepy ass is tom hanks son. The son who doesn't think he's Jamaican 🤣🤣

Ronny H

What annoys me about dexter is I feel like he started out just killing murderers who got away.. now he's going out of his way to make just the police never catch travis because he's obsessed with killing him himself. If only he would just let the police do their job or help them travis could have been caught before anything else happened.

Kryštof Adamopulos

It's very simple really. And I am perfectly functioning.

Aaron Barlow

Christianity is a different thing to organised religion. Organised religion is subject to human corruption, while the principles of Jesus's teaching are pure and can be followed faithfully by individuals. As far as walking on water and parting seas, who's to say that God couldn't perform miracles? Just because we don't overtly see miracles being performed these days, it means nothing. After all, life coming from random chemicals is impossible, the simplest cell component is irreducibly complex and even if it could arise somehow by accident through astronomical odds, it wouldn't survive or reproduce so natural selection wouldn't make copies of it survive to be around for when any other cell components arise and the chances of one, let alone 2 cell components randomly appearing are next to impossible. DNA breaks down in water, so DNA arising naturally in an amino/water soup is impossible. Then there's the information paradox, DNA requires information encoding, and complex encoding to be able to enable a cell to reproduce, along with complex folded proteins, enzymes and a ribosome. Basically DNA information is required to create a cell with DNA, a real chicken and egg problem. So the 2LOT element of this episode has merit, despite the atheist professor's self important protestations.

as an amateur filmmaker/writer, I always try to analyze series I enjoy from a writer/filmmaker/showrunner perspective - and its clear the writers for each season had a white board and said 'whos the big-bad for each season, and we have to make sure they have a personal connection or personal plot point connecting to Dexter himself" (which justifies why he feels HE has to put them down himself) -- S1: his brother Brian, S2 his mistress/sponsor Lila, S3: his short term best friend with a similar darkness, S4: trinity who eventually kills his wife Rita, S5: his dark partner in crime/love, Lumen and the men who hurt her, S6: eventually Travis kidnaps Harrison, S7: Hannah- dexters true love of his life (because she loves the real him and vice versa), S8: the brain surgeon who is after the psychiatrist that dexter knew most of his childhood, New Blood: The Hunter
