I don't float either! The cringiest (IMO) moment in the show, Deb's dream about Dexter. Believe it or not, there were plenty of fans who shipped them. Not me. And just think, their divorce was almost final when they filmed that scene!

The next 2 seasons are faster paced and as always the story has many turns. Then Dexter New Blood is only 10 episodes and the ending is…..😂😂. Hang on for the ride

Deb went there cause she knew dexter would be there so she could tell him how she feels. Remember she told him to go there after Harrison’s play to do the final inspection of the church so they could close that location.

Great reaction!! I can't wait for the next two episodes! I can't say I'm the biggest fan of them having Deb get feelings for Dexter. I think it was cringe, and totally unnecessary. (BTW, it was Arnie swimming under the water of fire in the movie, True Lies)

Just like Dexter says “Tonight’s the Night” Travis says “Today’s the Day”. Travis seems to have ended up being the end of Dexters world. Also he seems to have been an opposite to Dexter. Where Dexter at one point believed their was no possibility that God is real, Travis believes their is no possibility that god isn’t real. Because I’ve watched it so many times, I realized that music from every season (though it may seem like they use the same music every season anyway)is in this particular one. As if his life was flashing before his eyes all leading up to the moment that Dexter would view as the end of the world. From here on I say taste in the show is undeniably…subjective😅😅😅😅😂😂😂.

You can lead a horse to water… The therapist suggested it and Deb rejected it on the spot, but then she proceeded to convince herself of it in the absence of the therapist, and went back to her to confirm her conclusion.

The last episode is one of those TV moments that has you yelling at the TV. Like when the Mountain killed Oberyn in GoT, or when Uncle Junior shot Tony in the Sporanos.

The psychiatrist is by far the worst dexter antagonist(not really an antagonist but that idea she put in Debs head is worthy of that title) of the series lol I HATED that plot.

Yeah, now I'm remembering why I blocked some of this season out.. Took a perfectly good show with excellent writing and decided to just troll all of us viewers.. no problem watchn' Dexter take out the trash, but Dex & Deb ain't the long lost descendants of the Targaryen family..🙄 when they start doing things like this just for shock value, it's usually production getting in the way and making a dumb descision like that.. The original writer/showrunner Clyde Phillips left after season 4 and for me, can totally feel a shift in the writing.. some really good things though, like the reveal at the end.. the Brother Sam relationship, but some other descisions.. nah, i'm good thanks.. not needed

Yeah I never understood this whack job shrink planting seeds in Debra's brain when she's very vulnerable that she may be in love with Dexter. Awkward as hell and just made viewers like myself uncomfortable because it came out of absolutely nowhere, had no basis in the show whatsoever, and just perverts the tight sibling relationship they do have. The shrink needs a shrink if you ask me

Despite everyone not liking the doctor planting things in Deb’s head…. And despite everyone claiming it unwarranted for the plot, it WAS necessary for the story and not completely unbelievable! Bj said it when doctor did point out the fact that they weren’t the same blood…. In all reality things like this do happen and being that Deb was all over the place, emotionally confused and her track record with men, it does make since! Then, the actual reason I find it most necessary for the story, was that in her feelings, or confusion, or whatever you want to call it!? It explains why she needed to see Dexter…. Immediately! To tell him how she felt, hence why she dropped in on him at the church! Knowing he would be there after Harrison’s play, because she told him to run the final sweep! Despite everyone’s disdain for it, it all made good since. Very Freudian I admit, but probably why it was the Psychologist who planted the idea in her head!

OMG your guys look at the end when Deb walks in was great!! That's how I was when I watched it back in the day.. I was like OMG this is not a drill, this is happening!! Man crazy season!! Can't wait to see you guys go through season 7! I remember the ending and let me just say you guys are gonna be shook by the end of it!! I don't really have a problem with Deb having feelings for Dexter.. I'm more concerned that the writers were like oh I'm sorry about your real life divorce but we are gonna try to make you love interests now on the show.. that's wild! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Anyways great reaction!!! Not running out of ideas but finally getting around to them. While it’s def not like the best plotline so far(I haven’t finished so pls don’t spoil) but she was super in love with Dexter in s1, to the point where she tries to marry his brother, first time she falls in love with another man is the only one just like him. Then things changed after Lundy but s6 brings back a lot of elements from s1 for some reason; LeGuerta being an ass to Deb, Deb being infatuated with Dexter, and even brain moser himself.
