The sound when Deb pulls Dexter out of the water is something I call the "Dexter Clack". I ripped the audio from this episode and made the "Dexter Clack" my notification sound on my phone. I think I uploaded it on Zedge. lol.

Just FYI you two, there is ONE MORE SEASON after this called "Dexter New Blood" it is its own series just search for it and you'll find it. It just came out in 2021/2022 10yrs later. Can't wait you all are gonna lose it, from here on out we're in for a treat. PS please put Homeland in your show rotation soon. You 2 will absolutely love it.

Another great reaction! I am just as intrigued as you guys are! I feel like I only remember how each season ends but nothing in between.. with that being said, OMG I can't believe what Deb did! They really did blindside us with that scene! I still say kudos to Jennifer Carpenter! I think she is such a great actress! Can't wait for the next episodes!!! :)

Yeah Deb was trying to take them both out. Once that man saved her life and she saw Dexter going under the water, she realized she couldn't go on without him

you mention deb looks so so happy before she tried to kill herself and dexter, the show makes the point to keep it realistic in that way. before suicide people are overjoyous usually. same thing happened when trinitiy was so excited about the day when he was gonna kill himself with dexter too. these two eps are way better than the first two
