Better Call Saul S6. E3 and E4

Comments

Jake Martin

You guys, we're officially beyond where I stopped watching. Only cause life got a little busy, then I started again watching with you. We're first-timer buddies

Evan West

This ought to be good. Lmao

Davey11

Asia changed her mind on Howard, she backtracking faster than a brother who's accidently walked into one of Diddy's after parties 😂

That final scene in Episode 3.... just wow. And give it up for Michael Mando (Nacho) for his incredible performance.

Jonathan D

BJ & ASIA, remember! BOLSO IS ALIVE IN THE BREAKING BAD SERIES. If Bolso was killed in Better Call Saul, does Bolso have a twin? LMAOOOOOOO!!!!

Pacmule

I fully understand you folks have only watched Breaking Bad once so you miss the Easter eggs in this show. Saul's first customer in the nail salon was a gut named Spooge aka the guy who got his head squashed by an ATM by his "

Pacmule

Skank" wife. The last scene of Saul and Kim talking about the new office is the office he uses in Breaking Bad which means the timeline is getting close to Breaking Bad

Pacmule

Absolutely one of the best scenes in the history of TV

Jonathan D

Remember, Wendy, the prostitute that helped Saul and Kim with trying to ruin Howard, that's Jesse's prostitute "girlfriend" in the earlier episodes of Breaking Bad. Season 1 I think.

Jonathan D

Also, that's the first time Kim OFFICIALLY meets Mike.

Jonathan D

BJ & Asia, after you finish watching Better Call Saul, I recommend watching Breaking Bad in its entirety, AGAIN. It will all make sense to you.

I'm glad we're getting into season 6. the best season! my shameless plug recommendations as always: mad men, entourage, narcos, narcos mexico, the oceans 11 movies, the rest of the bournes, the hurt locker, barry (hbo), curb your enthusiasm, silicon valley, there will be blood, mrs. miniver, hell on wheels

Cole hauser

You guys are gonna feel like crap later in the season cause like many of us you fell for the trap and trust me you’ll see why😂😂. Nacho has probably my favorite Exist in the shows universe. He gave Hector even more of a reason to want to kill him and took it from him. He (like Jesse) also had a “do it yourself” moment but with Gus. I have to say I love how far we’ve come where you still saying Lilo instead of Lalo😂😂😂. Also if you noticed since season 1 till now the intro for the shows been changing up a little bit…. Almost like it’s running out of film?

Kimberly Tyda

RIP Nacho. 😔 Went out on his own terms at least. They would have tortured the shit out of him before killing him. Michael Mando was fantastic in this role.

rue

You guise are neighborhood Karens??

Miss Melissa

This season is such a good ride. Sad to see Nacho go. But I love that he was able to go out on his own terms. What a great performance by Michael Mando. I realized there was no way out for him because every single other person in that scene: Gustavo, Hector, Bolsa, Victor, Tyrus, and the Twins all die in Breaking Bad. I loved the way that episode 3 opened, a beautiful flower in the harsh desert next to Nacho’s piece of glass. Also, since you were asking, here is a short behind the scenes video on Nacho and the oil tanker: https://fb.watch/oEhDcKRb47/?mibextid=v7YzmG

Miss Melissa

Also, not sure if you noticed the credits, but Rhea Seehorn who plays Kim directed episode 4.

daisy

RIP Nacho

Isaiah

Pretty sad but also beautiful that the flower blooming in the middle of the desert against all odds was fertilized by Nacho.

Dan Gonya

I know in my last post that I thought Kim was the best character to come out of this prequel series, but I've gotta give it up for Nacho as well. He showed a hell of a lot of determination to stay alive, from waiting around in that hotel room, to shooting his way out of the parking lot, to submerging himself in oil. Wow! I'd have been dead in season one probably. Also, the character is very believable. I hope the actor gets a lot of work from this because I'd be very interested to see him in more stuff.

Dan Gonya

Also, somebody on here mentioned this...You guys should really try out Ozark!

Dan Gonya

I DO remember you...you were on Breaking Bad!😂

OhBxnny

i also agree with the ozark recommendation

Bmac Tattoo

After finishing this series, you should watch LOST! It'll mind f--- you many times. :D

N M

After you finish Better Call Saul, I hope that you will each tell us which series (BCS, BB, Sopranos, Dexter, GOT) has been most enjoyable for you to watch thus far! And rank them!

N M

Yes to Ozark!

Davey11

I second that. Lost is friggin brilliant

N M

I had hoped that Nacho’s character would have changed his mind and tried to shoot Gus when he got the gun, as well as Hector and the cousins, and used Bolsa as a human shield. Of course his chances of success would have been slim, but like in the shootout scene in the basement bar at Inglorious Bastards anything could have happened. They could have gone that route and still preserve the BB timeline by having Gus seriously wounded, but still survive.

Josh

When I see Gus's set up at his home it makes me think how Walter never stood a chance killing Gus at his pad. That time Hisenberg pulled up to kill Gus, and then he gets that phone call saying "Go home Walter." They were watching Walt the second he entered the neighborhood

daisy

The sex worker in this episode (and from past BB episodes) has always reminded me of the Patty the Daytime Hooker character from the My Name is Earl and Raising Hope universe 😂

Jesse

The only trade off for Nacho’s death was that he died without being a slave to no one . He got the last word on Hector and Gus and nobody else pulled the trigger but him. He kept his integrity and died a Boss yo.

Michael Saylor

Im surprised you guys didn't recognize Wendy the prostitute and spooge is the guy I think Jesse dropped the ATM machine on his head

Jesse

Let’s go Ozarkians !!!

The reason Kim and Jimmy are messing with Howard is to get that Sandpiper suit over with. Howard and associates are holding out for more money, but most of the people involved will die before they see a penny. That’s why Jimmy tells his pick pocket friend (Huel?) that what they’re doing is going to benefit a lot of people. That’s the big picture. Plus the lawyers will finally get paid. Jimmy gets a “ finder’s fee “ of 20% when he was the one who discovered what was going on and dove into dumpsters to get the evidence. Chuck took it to HHM, but rather than work with Jimmy on it, they cut him out of it and said he would get a finder’s fee.

I wonder how many predatory companies bank on their elderly clients passing away? Or at the very least have very little regard for their needs with what limited time they have left on this planet. What a messed up world.

tempest

i stopped caring about Jimmy in season 5. He turned asshole. NO redeeming qualities. and he drug Kim down into the sewer with him. The only reason I kept watching through S6 was the excellent acting the actor did who portrayed Lalo and I wanted to see if Kim would get out of this with her skin on. Jimmy? as a main character they wrote his personality like Walter white. Good guy, never really a good, guy gone bad. Without redeeming qualities, a main character can never call upon empathy or understanding from the viewer. This I think was gilligan's big miss.

PacMac

I think you have just described the meaning behind the coined term: ANTI-HERO, which is the intent behind this storytelling, as it was with WW, they are ANTI-HEROES, you are meant to dislike them at the end, that is how character development works...

The song at the beginning of episode 4 BestThings in Life is from a 50s girl trio The Dreamliners. My aunt is 1 of the singers.
