She pretended like she didn’t want that 5k check so he’d believe her intentions, but then she gets a job as a topless waitress knowing that a “dad” would not like it and try to help. But who knows, I could be completely wrong.

The actress who plays Hannah is on another show called Chuck where she plays a badass CIA agent who is assigned to guard a computer nerd when he receives important information. It’s a comedy and a pretty fun one to check out. I’m not sure what you have planned to watch next with both Dexter and Better Call Saul coming to an end

Mine are Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and then either Dexter or Walking Dead. Haven't watched The Sopranos and only the first season of SOA a long time ago lol! This is my 2nd time watching Dexter and Better Call Saul and I like them even better the 2nd time around with Asia and BJ. Breaking Bad is the one I find myself watching over and over again.

Great list! It seems like we have similar taste. I hope if they react to SOA you'll watch. The acting & writing is fantastic. Each season gets better, it's fast paced with lots of action, one of the actors is actually a member of Hells Angels, the writer has a role in it,, & his wife plays the female lead character to a T. Charlie Hunnam as Jax is phenomenal. Have a great Christmas 🎄 😊

Thanks for that info! I'll probably check it out. I'm usually at work so I do more listening than watching so I choose shows and movies I'm more familiar with. I love their reactions to my favorite shows and movies as well as their reactions to my favorite music. Makes my day go by really fast! I hope you watch Hulu's Handmaids Tale one of these times. It has the actress who plays Hannah in it. It is so good, and I do think you both would like it. But I am glad you took on Dexter.

Man, Season 1, Dexter was a ninja. He had minored in Brazilian Ju Jitsu or something, and Doakes wasn't able to get the drop on him. In this season, they completely nerfed him and 3 randoms in suits beat the hell out of him. I miss the Ultimate Fighter Dexter.

Nice top 3, and love all the others u mentioned. Pretty much the same top 3 as mine. Breaking Bad is my #1 for sure, then probably GOT and The Sporanos. But in my top 5 I would probably have "Vikings." Especially season 4 when the budget really picks up. Also high recommend True Detective (especially season 1) if u hadn't seen it. Then some other good series Yellowstone, The Boys, and Ozark.

I hated Hannah when I originally watched Dexter, but she turns out to be a perfect match for Dex. I appreciate her now, after rewatching it. Dex is in love.

THIS 100%. my first watch of this series it was so different from the show in seasons 1-4 that i didnt want anyone to interfere with the core group (Dex, Deb, Batista, LaGuerta, Quinn, etc) but after 10 or so years since the show ended (and about 6-7 full watch thru's of the 8 seasons) i find myself praying they bring Hannah back in "Dexter: Resurrection" by having dexter find out that Harrison Lied about hannah dying (or a more unlikely scenario of hannah using a temporary poison-like thing on herself to fake her death KNOWING harrison would go find Dexter) - idc how they do it, i want dexter and hannah to be together. And dammit why couldnt they have been together with Zach hamilton as their adopted son (they coulda had harrison go live with aster and cody)

Yep, writers often nerf heroes to let them be in more danger for more drama. To me it's just lazy writing.
