Idk if someone mentioned it but this is the book they referred to in Shawshank when the guy said "Alexander DumbAss"🤣. And also this is the same author Dr. Shultz referenced in Django when he said the man who wrote The Three Musketeers was a black man.

The preist in jail was Richard Harris who played Dumbledore in the first 3 Harry Potter films. This was one of his last roles before he passed in 2002.

Yeah, it’s a shame he lost his mind though, after that. I think it must have changed him. He was already pretty religious but he just went off the deep end. Now he’s all in on adrenachrome and Jewish space lasers. I really REALLY like this movie and his performance, and even his performance as Jesus was epic, but it must have changed him. I know he had some crazy stuff happen to him. Got whipped for real a few times in the scourging scene, dislocated his shoulder carry the 300 pound cross. Struck by lightning. That can change your brain chemistry. Also historically any actor to portray Jesus in a movie, usually suffers or is changed in some way career-wise.🤷‍♂️

I was bullied quite a bit as a child. I've always liked the idea of vanishing for a long period of time and returning unrecognizable to anyone...clever and powerful, and take my revenge. As an adult, I realize that that isn't how the world works and I fought through my own problems and became a better man for it. It was still a fun fantasy and this movie exemplifies it wonderfully. Jim Caveziel is awesome too, but I think my favorite character is Jacapo. Luis Guzman is great!

Mine too, do they know that Jim Caviseil Was JESUS IN THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST or were they joking? HENRY CAVILL IS SUPERMAN or was in the last few DCUmovies, again did they not know this too? I have the bluray and love it so much all the extras.

He also has done fine without selling His soul to Hollywood Hell. He gets offers but he says "no thanks". CBS show was good- Tareja his costar on it "Without A Trace" 7seasons isnt losing your mind. Has it been tough but Mel Gibson warned him that it would happen, but could he handle it? Answer yes, fame and constantly being fussed about ain't nuthin....😏💒

Danielle Saliens: did you mean Person of Interest? If so, that show is awesome, basically a Batman show disguised as a cop procedural. Also: Caveziel seems like a really nice and personable guy with everyday people, similar to Tom Cruise, so I'm cool with him having his own personal beliefs.

Sorry I’m late to the party. I was in 7th grade when this came out. We had our o my snow day that school year when mom took us to the theater. Funny enough we ran into the principal and his wife who was my science teacher. He said since every other school was calling out they decided to as well. Great movie

Richard Harris. Extraordinary actor!! Yes, he was Marcus Aurelius in Gladiator, and he was in Unforgiven (he came to town with the guy writing his story), and yes, he was Dumbledore! Had one of the most recognizable voices in acting. Fun fact: he also sang a song in the 60’s I think it was, called “MacArthur Park”. You may reacted to it on the music channel.? It was a huge hit!! RIP Richard Harris. Back to watch this in 2025! Love this movie! Oh! And shoutout to Shawshank!! ☺️❤️
