Darth Brooks

The Mummy has arrived! I can't wait to get home a check this reaction out. I hope everyone has a great weekend✌❤ fam!

George Bakis

Just heard the great Carl Weathers from Rocky etc passed away. God Bless this Chiseled Champ with the big smile.

Karl Kraus

This flick is the perfect choice for a Friday night! I'm happy it dropped! Hope you had a nice Groundhog Day!

Phoenix

Man - I just saw that too - RIP Apollo Creed

Rio Mendoza

I still love this film when it was first released must have watched that it dozen times. So funny Brendan Fraser is amazing in everything he does. Last year he released a movie called The Whale and it was probably the performance of the year, if not the best performance in the last 5 years. He's a very underrated actor

Phoenix

Thank you! I'm looking forward to this! The cast is so good. Brendan and Rachel have great chemistry. They bounce off each other so well.

George Bakis

Shell your probably a baby next to me. But I was a kid in the 70s and almost every film or TV star I was hypnotized by is gone.

Edgar Gonzalez

I've been waiting all DAY for this, thank you sooooo much for reacting to it. You guys are awesome!

Phoenix

I'm an 80s child George, so not so much of a baby any more lol but sadly? Too many greats gone, and too many have died so young too but we at least have their images immortalized on screen... I didn't even realise he was 76 tbf, he always looked younger for his age.

Rebecca Karsner

Yes!! I love this movie!! One of my favorites when I was a kid.. haven't watched it in a while!! Thanks for reacting to this!! I love Brendan Fraser!! Poor guy got blacklisted from Hollywood for many years because he was a victim of sexual misconduct and spoke out about it! He finally made his comeback last year by winning an Oscar for best performance for The Whale! I myself and the whole Internet seemed to be rooting for him! Glad he got his time to shine after how dirty he got treated! Anyways thanks again!! About to watch right now!! Hope you guys have a fantastic weekend! 🙌🙏🥰

Rebecca Karsner

He was so amazing in that! Saw it in theaters and balled my eyes out.

Nichole

Brendan Fraser and I think the movie you're talking about BJ is Encino Man or George of the Jungle

Rio Mendoza

I did also I am not afraid to cry at films that touch my heart in good or bad ways. Especially when true art is involved like The Whale. If you watch and don't feel it inside I would be surprised.

George Bakis

I hear you. I guess enjoying the old b&w films is easier because beforehand you know they are mostly gone. No sad surprises.

Phoenix

It was awful what they done to him. Affected his marriage too at the time. That standing Ovation he got too last year also choked me up. Well deserved.

Phoenix

I totally get what you mean, George. Hope you're good.

Melissa

Love this movie!

Karl Kraus

The Mummy was made to be more of an Indiana Jones type movie in its own right, down to the production aspects you listed The only difference is the horror stuff being added to the story that tributed the original from the 30s whereas Indy had little amounts of scariness and creepiness The name you're trying to remember is Brendan Fraser and he's such an underrated actor George of the Jungle was a childhood favorite of mine I watched it every week back then, I almost wore out the VHS!

Karl Kraus

You're correct in saying there's a trilogy, the second being the Mummy Returns and the third, Tomb of the Dragon Emperor To be honest, though, only number two is worth watching It builds on the first story quite well but the third one is just plain insignificant to what happened previously, especially since it doesn't concern an Egyptian mummy but a Chinese one instead It's okay as a single movie but it takes away from the other two massively Evie's character got recast too and that kind of bummed me out when I first saw it I think when the second one was finished, that should've been it but money talks in Hollywood so it is what it is

Donna Bannister

It's been awhile since I seen this but I really enjoyed watching it again!!💯🤗 Y'all would enjoy the 2nd movie I'm sure❤️

George Bakis

Do you recall if there were different directors for the trilogy?

Karl Kraus

yes the director was different for the third movie the second had the same one as the first, which makes sense since the tone was similar for one and two

Darth Brooks

Seen that as well. Broke my heart, may the legend RIP.

Darth Brooks

The Whale was such a fantastic film. I'm glad Brendan finally got the praise he deserved after everything he went through.

Amy Silknitter

The second one, The Mummy Returns, is good, too. After that? Just stop. An Anuksunamun was Pharoah's mistress, not his daughter. And she was cheating on him with Imotep.

MichelleMyBell

The 2nd one to this is, just, as, good. The third one wasn't good at all.

Krissy

Great reaction! The Mummy 2 is really good also. Another great Brendan Frasier is also in another great classic called, Blast from the past.

Renee

I LOVE this movie. I would love you guys to watch Mummy 2. George of the jungle was my fav movie as a kid MAJOR crush on brendan growing up lol

Kara Davis

You are correct Asia, Brendan Fraser was the lead in George of the Jungle. He was also in Encino Man with Sean Astine (Sam in LOTR) & had a guest cameo in Son in Law with Pauly Shore. He also in Journey to the Center Of the Earth (another adventure movie). There are 2 more Mummy movies, The Mummy Returns is the next one, & it is Dwayne The Rock Johnson's first movie roll. The 3rd movie is meh, not really missing anything if you don't see it, & the one done a couple of years ago with Tom Cruise sucked! But the 2nd Mummy movie is really good.

Maritza Navarro

I love this movie! Thank you for reacting to it. Brendan Fraser is a national treasure. I’m so glad he got recognized at the Oscars for the great actor that he is.

Heather

Brendan Fraser deserves all that is good in this world. ❤️

Mr Jackpots

I like this movie more than the Indiana Jones movies. Brenda Fraser brilliant in action roles. If you want to see him in something a little more out there, just watch Monkeybone.

Nicole

One of my favorite movies and I love The Mummy Returns just as much, hope u guys do part 2 soon. Also would love to see u react to the rest of the Scream series too

Amy Silknitter

A Brendan Fraser movie that does not get enough credit is Inkheart. I love that movie so very much. And it has a stellar cast.

LynnC

Yes, very much in the spirt of Indiana Jones. The sequel is great too, and if you like these types of adventure movies, National Treasure is a great adventure flick too.

Samira Abdulmalik

The Mummy Returns is better than the The Mummy. His name is Brendan Fraiser and he was Encino Man and George of the Jungle

Heather C.

Loved yalls reaction. I knew it was going to be great. I’ve seen this movie so many times I can recite most likes. Even the Egyptian ones. Guess that says how lame I am. Lmao. One of my favs. I remember watching it when it came out and it was a blast. Yes. The other comments are all correct. Just stop after the second one. But also if you haven’t seen him in Journey To The Center Of The Earth…definitely check it out. Tons of fun. Love you guys. Excellent reaction as always.

Awilda Luciano

Im ready for Rocky 2-6. Then creeds 1-3. RIP CARL WEATHER AND BURT YOUNG🥰

famouscrab

The perfect start to a trilogy: The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, and finally Stargate.

Joey

One of those films I’ll just watch over and over again :) Great reaction guys. Mummy Returns is very good too x

Sometimes

i haven't said it awhile, but I still watch this patreon more than netflix ha ha ha

Darrell Johnson

Ohhh. I wished you'd let the end titles and music play under your talk. That's a really cool theme.

Miguel Gutierrez

i remember watching the last of us and seeing evies brother johnathan right in the beginning of the first ep lol

Ashley Santiago

Asia you should definitely have BJ do a reaction to George of The Jungle

Ashley Santiago

Yes please continue with the rest of The Mummy movies.

Andreas

Great movie, great reaction what schould isay can´t wait for the mummy 2. Thx and greetings from germany

Dan Gershgol

I love this movie but you should really watch the original 1932 version. Classic horror at its best.

Keyuana Gray

Loved yhe reaction. Asia you had me rolling the way you were jumping outta your seat in the beginning. You guys should definitely watch the 2nd one but don't bother with the 3rd

rtt143

Hey guys , is there a way to watch this on tv?

Ashley S

Awesome! Hope you watch the rest of the series :)

Clara Hines

Hamunaptra was the name of the city, not the woman he was trying to resurrect. Her name was Anck Su Namum. She was the Pharoah's mistress.
