Full picture/Sketch & color test/ Idea Joris! YAY!!!I just felt like drawing the three boys as high school students coming home from school, wearing their uniforms!I like the overall look of the picture and colors, it's colorful and shining- It's not quite the result I wanted, but I need to try other stuff on upcoming images!I really hope you like it, as I rarely do colored pictures, I kinda wanna know if it's worth it.Sometimes I feel like a very dull artist because my illustrations focus more on characters, and I hardly spend time on backgrounds, which is a real shame. Lately, I've realized I'm not sure where I stand with colored images. I can do many things and I don't know where to go; I'm uncertain about how to line them (same here, I'm not satisfied with the line; it's my default line, very expressive, but it doesn't suit this kind of coloring, in my opinion). I've never talked about it, but over the past months/year I've worked for some streamers (under a different pseudonym) creating overlays: landscapes and scenes heavily inspired by Ghibli's and Anime backgrounds style. I really liked it, I didn't know I could do it but I was genuinely convinced and proud of the results (sad I can't show you lol). I never spend as much time on backgrounds for my own illustrations background (including this one) because I feel like characters matter more... not to mention, it takes a lot of time, and I'm afraid of falling behind on the comic.So this is kind of a test... You're with me on this journey I guess.<3
