And it's right HERE!Please note that if you struggle to read a chapter, scroll to the bottom of the comics post to find more informations! To access the latest update, make sure to click on “LATEST PAGES”. These new pages are not included in Chapter 15!There are two reasons for this: first, this update overlaps between Chapter 15 and 16, I'll manage that later, and second:

I’m honestly not happy with this update ;_; I kind of messed it up. It’s not a disaster, but it’s not exactly what I was aiming for, so it’s very likely I’ll rework it in the next update. This connection between them is super important, and I feel like it lacks density here, in the pacing, but it was too late when I realized. I really struggled with these last 2–3 pages (which is also why the very last one isn’t complete). I even restarted them twice, rearranged things over and over again just two days before the release date lol-

There was another wide shot of their position at the end, but something felt off, so I cut it off for now. Tera’s pose didn’t carry the nuance I wanted, and I realized this subtlety is really hard to capture. Honestly, it took a lot of time that went nowhere.

Now, to give you a bit more insight into the intent behind this scene, I want to share what was in my head while creating it, and why it matters so much to me to get it right:

I love the moment where Tera rests his head gently against the Boy. Just that. He doesn’t go any further because their relationship doesn’t allow it yet, and above all, because he’s not familiar with this tenderness. So it comes off a little awkward, a little unusual.

As for why he does this, I want readers to form their own interpretation, but for me there are two reasons (can be one, can be both, can be something else, it's up to you):

Tera is coming back from a complicated, chaotic, murderous night. He’s injured. It’s exhaustion speaking. Through all of this story, the Boy is the only source of tenderness and affection for Tera (or will become so). Tera knows this, and he allows himself to lean on him. He’s simply tired, looking for a little bit of that thing the Boy carries with him: tenderness.

In that moment, Tera suddenly realizes the impact he now has on the Boy. Someone is waiting for him. He doesn’t like the idea that the Boy worried, that he was scared, that he had to "endure" those fears. That feels like a weight Tera didn’t want to put on his shoulders. So he apologizes. And we know Tera doesn’t apologize easily. These are genuine apologies, he really feels guilty. He’s not used to causing worry: his group doesn’t show tenderness to each other, and above all, they trust each other: nothing can happen to them. So seeing this Boy consumed with worry unsettles him deeply. You know, that feeling when your loved ones worried for you and you just feel sorry!

I hope all of this makes sense! It feels strange to introduce some of these new behaviors, which is why I don’t want to get them wrong haha.

Anyway, I hope you still enjoyed these pages!!!Thank you for your patience and all your support 💖LOVE YOU

I hope you know that even though you struggled with these pages and will probably make changes in the future I think these are some the most meaningful pages I’ve read through the whole story!! I can’t wait for next month :)

zpico

Awww, that genuinely makes me feel better! I’m too much of a perfectionist haha

SleepyWitchLyca

Yea sure make me cry like a freaking waterfall 😭😭😭😭😭

Jack G

gorgeous art as always !! it’s so easy to see this as a reader and think wow this is such a beautiful story and pages, which is why I always read your notes (duh). I feel like it’s so interesting to see your thought processes as well as your emotions when creating. No one is a big a critique as ourselves, make sure to take time for you and not stress too much !! this update was beautiful🫶🏻

Michael

First of all: WE SEE THAT BLUSH, BOY! Second: I actually love those pages. Tera has never known those feelings and everything from here on is uncharted territory for him; he is unsure how and where to tread. So he tries to choose te best way, the safest bet to neither repell the boy nor drown in his own feelings. He is calm enough to move forward, yet still has the emotional turmoil inside of him. It is very well done. Also: Tera canceling the dude's subscription to life through the roof is absolutely hilarious. Popping a few rounds like trying to get rid of a small bug.

Elanor

AAAHHHHAHAHA YES! LOVE IT! Tera Is such a Golden doberman, he goes to his fav nurse( the boy Is a pro, we know). The boy is like a "home" for Tera, a calm place full of warm. We can feel It.Can't wait for the next!!

Sofija Leron

It's both and we feel the emotions even if you aren't completely happy with the drawing. I also feel like the boy is more aware, before, as adorable as he is he felt a bit detached or blind to what Tera is, but now it feels more like he is aware. I look forward to new updates with excitement 🥰

zpico

Awww stop you’re gonna make me cry y’all are so sweet 😭 I’m so happy you can feel the emotion and the intention! But I know I can do better 😤💗

Chiro

The way you draw reflections in his eyes make it look like tiny universes in there, it’s really nice 🥹 Also, idk how you do it, but when these two are together, their composition feels like they’re orbiting each other even tho they don’t touch most of the times.❤️ Hope you get some rest, these pages look incredible ❤️ happy autumn days🍂

Julie

OH MY GOD !!! I gonna stare at this for a day 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Schokokrossi

Oooooh yes, I feel the same. The way you capture emotions in your drawings is so moving — I can literally feel his exhaustion, how deeply shaken he is. And the boy… he’s so pure, so genuine. I love that about him, he’s absolutely precious. They both are.

Caroline Borlée

Your art is insanely good 😩❤️ the story amazing 😩 I can't get enough, I'm hoping for a physical book one day ❤️

SammiiSpark

We are always our toughest critic! I found myself really focusing on how you transitioned scenes and panels in these pages. Each page looked like one art piece, instead of a typical comic, broken into scenes and perspectives. The shoe flying off the foot, the depth in the boys eyes, very dynamic and cool to read! And seeing the boy blush and Tera show vulnerability… such small seeming gestures, but a pivotal moment in their relationship! Had me giggling and kicking my feet 🥰 Great job as always!

Chiro

This❤️ I wanna have a hard copy too one day ahah

NervousCutie4

Not related to this update exactly, but I just wanted to say that I enjoy seeing the way you talk about your work in these update posts, and even the background info you provide on Tapas. I can really feel your heart speaking through when you discuss each update. Even when you’re honest about not liking a particular update, it comes out of love for this project and wanting to do your absolute best. For what it’s worth, everyone here is going to be happy with whatever you put out, because it’s a labour of love we can all see that, so don’t be too hard on yourself ❤️

Joanne

Even the flying shoe.. I love the details. You're doing such a good job of making us love an antihero. Not to pull any hate, but Tera is not a good guy. That was some killing spree 😵‍💫 It's so nice seeing them back together. Tera needs a break and goes to recharge to the only place he knows now. The Boy went from pulling the curtain in front of Tera's face to fully turning his back and closing the curtains in front of them. 😭 And his sorry means so much more than trying to excuse the worry he caused. Btw. I wrote this and only after read your own commentary - the things you want us to track, do track. :) Also - don't climb buildings with a bullet wound in your stomach, kids.☝️

evi

What went through my head while reading this? Panel 2: Fuck (in my head). He is cold. Or just... experienced? Panel 3: Fuck. (from his mouth). He (probably) can deal with the injury. But how does he tell the Boy? Panel 5: Oh, that reflection... The slice of light, again? Shard of light? Just ordinary beam of light? Pico, you’re a story weaver! Panel 6: Can a plastic wolf mask look sad? Yes, it can. Panel 7: How many emotions are in the Boy’s face? 1. Joy (seeing Tera). 2. Worry & fear (still lingering). 3. Relief (he’s alive). 4. Realisation 1 (is he a petty thief or killing machine?). 5. Realisation 2 (The Blush - or just shadow?). 6. Any other? Many other, probably. Panel 8/9: Tera’s head resting against the Boy. Longing for his tenderness & calm, also my first thought. Yes, also the guilt you mention. Does he, do they think far enough already what the consequences may be? 7 to 9 feel like a turning point in your story, don’t they? You fed us well, Pico. Do get a bit of rest now. But I’m looking forward to the update to this update; knowing that there will be a 2nd chance to read these panels anew does spark my anticipation again.

Elanor

It Will be. For sure. I NEED IT

Steph Joy

Yesssss give me hurt/comfort/care!!

Tex

This is as gorgeous as your work always is, but I understand the feeling of being unhappy with something in the moment. You'll get to the point where you're content with it though, at the very least, but for what it's worth I do think these are some of your best, emotive pages. Be kind to yourself 🥰 ilovethiswebtoonsomuchomg

Elanor

Notice that Tera thought that the boy was asleep because is late, but he went at his house anyway. Because yes, the boy Is his new home

zpico

Hahaha, yeah I think he wanted to see him anyway

zpico

Aw, thank you so much Tex! You're so sweet !!!

zpico

Y'all are just so kind and supportive I swear omg!! Thank you so much Evi! This panel-by-panel reaction was really interesting to read, haha, I’m always curious to see what my readers pick up on in my work!

Elanor

I'm SO HAPPY. i can't stop rereading. I reread all like one or twice a month.

zpico

That’s a really interesting comment! You know, I never really asked myself how to make them endearing or how both of them would come across, because from the start I had such a clear vision of who they are and how they would evolve...! I figured that if I was moved by them, then they would probably touch other people just as much. I think what I’m really trying to do is simply draw human beings in all their complexity and contradictions! There’s what Tera shows and represents to the outside world (the Black Death part), and then there’s everything I know about him, his inner struggles, his emotions, that start to surface when he’s with the Boy! That’s how I approach things, haha

zpico

Aw, thank you so much NervousCutie! I just love your comment! That really resonates with me, and I think it genuinely helps me understand how my own reflections on my work connect with you! <3

yusai

as much as I want to say to not worry about perfection, I totally understand the feeling of wanting your art to portray the exact feelings you want. I will always love a zpico update tho, no matter what 🥹

zpico

That's so true! There’s so much going on while creating a scene and pages that it’s hard to capture everything; and I’m really happy you mentioned the transitions haha! They can be such a challenge sometimes, but they can also have such a huge impact! I pay a lot of attention to them whenever the layout allows it. Thank you SammiiSpark!! I can't wait to share more of the Boy and Tera ...!

zpico

aw that's adorable, thank you!! I really do want a physical version too (especially now that, with the number of pages available, it would already make at least two books, haha). The problem is, I have so little time to dedicate to it, and there are probably tons of language mistakes to fix in the earlier chapters… it kind of demotivates me just thinking about it.. :(

zpico

Thank you Chiro!!! I’ll share a bit of the process behind these latest pages (for real this time, I promise haha!) by showing the panels I cut or replaced. They illustrate pretty well my focus on making their bodies ‘respond’ to one another. Thanks so much for pointing that out!

zpico

Thank you Sofija!! That’s a good point! I think it’s his budding attachment to Tera that makes him more and more aware of the dangers surrounding Tera, at least that’s what makes him worry for him..!

NervousCutie4

Honestly I’m glad because you deserve all the accolades!

zpico

Golden Doberman haha!! I love it!! Yeah I’ve realized lately that so much of their bond grows in the calm of that dimly lit room, almost like a cocoon!

zpico

He DOES blush a lot in this scene haha. He can't help, he's just so happy to see his wolf! You really captured and described Tera’s emotions and the context he grew up in so well! It’s such a tender way of putting it. I’m so happy you’re enjoying these pages!! Thank you, Michael!! (Not 'cancelling the dude’s subscription to life' lmao )

GamineGirl85

I love the growth in the relationship between these two muffins. I’m stressed out after seeing Tere’s bullet hole though…very stressed

Caroline Borlée

I understand 😞 maybe one day though 👀 and you don't do any prints by any chance ? 👀

Chiro

no rush at all! honestly I already love reading your thoughts in the chapter descriptions, and would be nice when you have the time to post some process 💕

Ah'Ran

Z your work always amazed me especially when it comes to Tera n Boy. In this panel when I read I can feel the comfort between them, Boy is Tera safe haven and tenderness ❤️

Elanor

Dude, i want an entire multiverse with those two( 3 with Jo). At school, with a dark boy, an omegaverse, a Mermaid verse. ALL

Elanor

Shut up and take my money. I want you at Lucca comics and games for your sign. And a big hug <3

Zoe saenz

Z thank you for this beautiful masterpiece you are making I love it so good

Joanne

That's the way to do it, imo! You have to know your characters - who they are before, during and after the story - and then you tell the story happening to them. You do it in drawing, which gives us readers the chance to see them go through it, but I can also feel Tera's exhaustion about everything that's going on and his struggle to find a new way while coping with the things he's doing. He expected it to be easier, cause he had created a world for himself, that was easier and suddenly it's not anymore. And the Boy discovers the parts he had to hide since his family is gone and slowly is able to let them out when he's alone with Tera. I can feel all of that and more in my chest while reading your story and that's because you know them so well. (And because you're very amazingly talented in drawing, for my aesthetical sense for sure). You've also so nicely and openly described your thoughts behind the story a lot of times, which gives it depth and just shows you're part of the world you build. ❤️ I'm enjoying it, lots of other people do, too - still gives you the reasonable right to not be satisfied with yourself and wanting do to better 😁👏

Mary Beh

It feels like you can do no wrong. I love reading through your intentions with the scene because it puts into words how I’m feeling — I find myself thinking “EXACTLY!!!” I appreciate that you push yourself to such excellence. It really shows. Also I’m just DYING for Tera to take his mask off around the boy. It was such a tease when he did it barely enough to take a sip of his drink. I feel like we are so close but also so far. It’s one of those things that I wouldn’t be surprised if it happened in the next few updates while simultaneously believing it won’t happen for another 20 chapters 💀

Alis

I understand what you mean about the lack of density in the boy-Tera moment and I do agree. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the pages (as always!) and I'm excited to see how you're gonna change them, if you'll decide to. One of the beauties here is that we're assisting to your creation step by step, and even if you're not satisfied with the update, it's just wholesome as an experience to see the evolution of the comic 💝 I think you're doing a really great job, this comic is already next level and I really trust your competence and I'm sure you're gonna get where you want with these pages and in a broader sense. Also, I feel like this moment is a particularly tough point to convey or depict, because you want to show the boy's side, worried for the morning gunshots, while on the other hand we have Tera who was through so many more gunfights after that that the morning robbery at the cafe is not even in his thoughts anymore. I thought, if I may suggest, you could bring this contrast to the surface and that could lead to Tera's realization that the boy worries for him and that starts the guilt in him that he then expresses him and leads to the tender moment. HOWEVER I have no idea what you have in store for the next pages and this could still work the way it is, because from the boy's point of view his reaction is a surprise and it makes even more sense since he doesn't know how Tera really spends his days.

The Movie Buff

If the boy dresses Tera’s wound again next chapter I might faint

moose

This was very sweet and lovely, and the flip between Tera’s chaotic murder night at the club with the soft intimate stillness with the boy is very effective. I look forward to seeing what it will look like once you’ve changed it in a way that you feel better reflects what you’re going for! Thank you for the update, and your thoughts behind it!

moose

REAL

moose

Yep… yep ……. DEFINITELY gonna reread from the beginning of the series AGAIN

Claire

I loved these new pages and the new dynamic, as well as your interpretations. I love that Tera is finding the tenderness he needs 💝

Artiø Vollrath

Love this! I loved the softness of the moment and the explanation behind it. I cannot wait to see how these two continue to grow in the future ❤️

Soyya

First of, I loved the soft tender moment between the boy and Tera. Something about the fact that Tera thought the boy might be sleeping and he still made his way there, seeking comfort is just so perfect! Second, I do understand the frustration when something doesn't turn the way you want, but be gentle to yourself! If you need to rework few pages, then that's that. Take a little break in between, drink some water and take a nap... I guess I'm trying to say, taking your focus out of the thing for a little while makes it easier to notice what things need more attention and why Any who, thank you for the update and as always, can't wait to see more 💚

Dee

I'm always so impressed with how great you are at all different types of scenes without losing any of your own style/quality. The action scenes are always amazing that I forget you're the same artist drawing Tera and The Boy goofing around in BTS shorts.

YukitoUmi

I love these interactions so much! But if it helps I would love to see more of the boys reaction to Terra returning after worrying about it. But what you have now is absolutely lovely. And I do chuckle a bit when I think of the tenderness the boy displays to Terra as I remember the first few chapters where he almost threw an unconscious Terra off a balcony XD

Dani 🤍

SOBBING, GAGGING, CONVULSING; SUCH DECADENCE AND YET IT IS STILL JUST THE CRUMBS OF WHAT YOU HAVE IN STORE? Disgusting, I’m ready. 💐🤍

Elle J Lawrence

The way I just melted into a puddle. Amazing!

Only Stories

Oh my god, the latest update, I felt my heart just being squeezed DX I love these too so much and how you render them on the page and just the emotion you packed into this update - ah what a time to be alive.

Only Stories

Okay, I actually made the first comment after reading the update and now, having read your BTS notes, ugh I love it even more. THEY'RE CRUSHING ME! 10/10 no notes. What an amazing reading experience.

yahboyysam

the face reveal.... ughhhh..... slow burning me... I ADORE THE ACTION, AND HOW GD EFFICIENT TERA IS, LIKE SHOOTING THROUGH THE ROOF FROM TOP TO ALL THE WAY BACK- Tera is an impeccable mercenary, knows how to get his job done. fr fr.

Mo

Excellent travail. 🤍

Ava

This has gotten so far already, and it's this comic that kind of reminds me of the passage of time. When I started reading this, I was in a really dark time and struggling with my relationship with my family. Sometimes on the worst days I would think "but I would never be able to read this and that, and the boy and the wolf!!". Thanks for working so hard! ❤️❤️ (doing much better now btw, graduated *french* highschool, so... Much better 😭)

2026-09-07 00:00 What a conclusion… I have never seen such well-orchestrated chaos and downfall. The action is on-point and never lets up for a second - the details are crazy! Quick and swift and – on Tera’s side – without any second thoughts. “Run hard, die fast”. Make the most out of what you got, and be throughgoing about it. Which means, not to just run someone over, but making sure he won’t get up afterwards and pulling the trigger of that quick-fire again. Maximum efficiency… as expected. That bullet hole though… I couldn’t help but gasp “shit”, hoping for an exit wound… And at the same time, looking at it… it faintly reminds me of another wound, received by Longinus’ spear. (I am well aware that it’s Tera’s left side, not his right, that it is a bullet hole, not a stab wound by a roman soldier and that Tera – even though carrying a somewhat heavy cross, so to speak – isn’t exactly in “that” position…) But given the context and thinking back to the reference of “the Last Supper” (Muta in the parking garage) and the artwork of Tera “Guilty Crown” (May 28, 2019) … it’s something that crossed my mind. That, and a little guilty smirk, because… hey, he lifted his shirt. #onlyhuman. (I gotta take that bitter pill of what just happened with a jolly one, don’t judge me… too hard, it is not (entirely) about what you might think). He killed for something not benefitting Black Death and he also took a bullet for the same reason… The Boy doesn’t seem to entertain just happy thoughts either, looking at his face, his eyes and that prominent ray of light… I guess most people would rather face the city, not necessarily the inside… his evening wasn’t so great to begin with, thinking about that piano practice, while already being worried about Tera. Page 5 is incredible, especially the bottom right panel. The amount of detail in the Boy’s eye… that’s really a different level from “monochrome”. And I so dig the nostalgia of a Sony Walkman and (still) using the outfit from your editorial page post “90’s magazine” (April 28, 2025). Nostalgia… probably back to the time when the Boy was about 10 years old…? Who knows?! It goes well together. I’m glad Tera took his time to clean up… likely even got patched up already. The Boy would have noticed the blood as well as those imprints on that well worn mask… Tera was never shy about getting into… brawls… or doing risky stuff – that’s how they met. Time and again. (Tera crushing into Joris car, bags full of money, Tera being in a serious argument with Muta about Muta’s sister and her state of … purity, the bank robbery… and of course after the incident in the parking garage… just to name a few). But Tera never showed up seriously injured nor had he ever the mind to think about the Boy… I mean… what the state he shows up in, would mean to the Boy. The stench of burned flesh and hair, the smell of gasoline (chapter 9, pg. 34, after burning Tony and his shop… and the building) the bleeding… or simply being sopping wet. This is - by far - a more considerate approach – he even took into account that the Boy might already be asleep… he needed to see him anyways. I love that bottom panel of page 6. The “symmetry”. This “side-by-side”, mirroring – and Tera being the first one to speak. I imagine it’s rather soft-spoken. More of a faint echo from his “hey, you” – like at Starcups that very morning. He has always been drawn to the Boy and seeing this… they have come a long way from open hostility to a smile, a blush and honest concern – from the Boy. Tera has been very concerned from the get-go, with the Boy being the loose cannon that he is. I like the pacing. I like the little pause before the Boy admits that he has been worried. And afraid. For Tera. I dig how the whole scene is closing in on them, with Tera’s physical overwhelming presence. He tried the Boy a few times and upon entering that room for the first time, Tera gave it his best to intimidate the Boy – who reacted with a frown, not scared at all. Tera was never shy about their contact and since he even reached for the Boy like it was the most natural thing to him (at Starcups, while using Jo’s keycard to get to the storage room with the safe)… I think he needs this, in a very profound way. Hearing things like “scary”, “afraid” and “worry” from someone like the Boy, who has never been really scared to begin with… I imagine that must strike a nerve with Tera… I just don’t think that’s the only reason for his actions in page 8. The single thing Tera has ever been sorry about when it came to violence was, that the Boy witnessed it (chapter 9 pg. 49). Obviously, Tera didn’t regret what he did to Muta at the gas station… nor what followed afterwards in the parking garage. He wasn’t sorry about that. I am positive he isn’t now. Close contact with the Boy has always served as some kind of… restraint for Tera and probably just as much comfort, because with the Boy, there is no actual need to rely on his reputation, his street credit. The Boy doesn’t care about that and is no part of it. There is no need to… uphold that – it’s ok to let show more than just a persona. The brand. Black Death. It’s ok to clown around some, to talk about fears, to be worried and show concern, and to seek out more than a cheap thrill. It’s ok to stop tracing and settle down for a bit. That… and then there’s the past. Another burning building with a black cross on one of the doors, about 7 years ago, around the time Tera dropped out of school and joined Black Death. I imagine, things in that past are something, Tera is sorry about. Now like then, sorry for hurting you, one way or another. I love those panels. I love the fact that Tera isn’t using his hands at that moment. That he’s lowering down instead. That he’s leaning in… He has a lot of weight on his shoulders, a heavy cross indeed. Throughout those past updates, after he has learned about the Boy’s past and the nervous breakdown, after those cracks appeared in that mask, distancing himself even further from Black Death and Kain alongside… I kept wondering, who would he confide in now. And how. Now I see. This gesture is almost like an unspoken question.” May I?” While before, handling the Boy and getting close was natural and even in good humor (on the motorbike or rolling around in puzzle-pieces). Tera never cared for personal space, he even moved the Boy to the bed while the Boy was fast asleep, cowering on the floor, clutching a flashlight like a lifeline. This… feels a little different. More… aware. (Also, reminds me of “Love Death & You”, Sep. 23, 2022 and “Ghosts”, Feb. 26, 2022). Just like checking the heartbeat of an unconscious Tera on his bed, the Boy might realize once more what’s beneath that appearance of a beast. What lies behind all that “business” and disposable artificial front of cheap plastic. Flesh and bones. Heart and soul. This is the guy who did listen, the person he confided in and the one who put the night sky in the palms of his hands, the one who saw him cry and the one person he trusted when the light went out, willingly. Not because he had to (like in the park). Instead of telling the Boy not to worry about him or be afraid that something might happen… instead of that, Tera says sorry. The wound must hurt terribly with each breath, and bowing down like that, especially. Don’t be too harsh on yourself, cut yourself some slack… I think this came out really well already – and nothing’s set in stone (e.g. I like the changes you made with the Boy’s piano practice and his grandma). This had me gasp and suffocate, cuss and curse, smirk and smile and left me with that warm and yet partly stingy fuzzy dizziness, which that B&W rollercoaster is so prone to, including that peripheral awareness of something lurking, ready to let all hell break loose. It started way before they even met. (Yeah, yeah, I know… I write A LOT… sorry.)

(Tera crushing into Joris car, bags full of money, Tera being in a serious argument with Muta about Muta’s sister and her state of … purity (chapter 2, pg. 5), the bank robbery… and of course after the incident in the parking garage… just to name a few). Tera has been very concerned from the get-go, with the Boy being the loose cannon that he is (chapter 2, pg. 17 and pg. 44). I like the pacing. I like the little pause before the Boy admits that he has been worried. And afraid. For Tera. I dig how the whole scene is closing in on them, with Tera’s physical overwhelming presence. He tried the Boy a few times and upon entering that room for the first time, Tera gave it his best to intimidate the Boy – who reacted with a frown, not scared at all (chapter 6/1, pg. 4 and 5). Tera was never shy about their contact and since he even reached for the Boy like it was the most natural thing to him (at Starcups, while using Jo’s keycard to get to the storage room with the safe, chapter 14, pg. 36)… I think he needs this, in a very profound way. Hearing things like “scary”, “afraid” and “worry” from someone like the Boy, who has never been really afraid of him to begin with… I imagine that must strike a nerve with Tera… I just don’t think that’s the only reason for his actions in page 8. Close contact with the Boy has always served as some kind of… restraint for Tera (chapter 1, pg. 32) and probably just as much comfort, because with the Boy, there is no actual need to rely on his reputation, his street credit - he even loves to tease him and make him blush (e.g. chapter 1, pg. 52). (And not the first time Tera says "sorry", chapter 2, pg. 17). And how. Now I see. This gesture is almost like an unspoken question.” May I?” While before, handling the Boy and getting close was natural (chapter 14, pg. 40) and even in good humor (on the motorbike or rolling around in puzzle-pieces). 26, 2022). Just like checking the heartbeat of an unconscious Tera on his bed (chapter 6, pg. 34), the Boy might realize once more what’s beneath that appearance of a beast. This had me gasp and suffocate, cuss and curse, smirk and smile and left me with that warm and yet partly stingy fuzzy dizziness, which that B&W rollercoaster is so prone to, including that peripheral awareness of something lurking, ready to let all hell break loose (e.g. chapter 14, pg. 10 and 11 - Kain talking about Luc) . It all started way before they even met. (Yeah, yeah, I know… I write A LOT… sorry.)

What a conclusion… I have never seen such well-orchestrated chaos and downfall. And I so dig the nostalgia of a Sony Walkman and (still) using the outfit from your editorial page post “90’s magazine” (April 28, 2025). lol this reminded me how in the early chapters after Tera charred someone, the boy was like ‘smells like burned pork’ 😭 now he’s all cleaned up — probably not intentional but it cracked me up haha

I don't know if it makes any sense but this chapter gave me a sense of chaos and immense belonging, the fact that Tera instinctively returned to the boy. As if he had finally found some meaning or familiar place in him, even in the midst of his completely insecure life. And the reciprocity of the boy, who feels this same existential emptiness and naturally welcomes him, was so melancholic to see. I confess that I was listening (unintentionally) “Honey (Are You Coming?) and this gave a unique vibe to the whole situation 🫠

LOVE THE NEW PAGES!!! I can’t wait to see their relationship get even better!

I love how their relationship just slowly changes and grows. Going from being annoyed that Tera would go to his place to waiting for him to make sure he's okay! ❤️

I’m on the edge of my seat from these last few updates. Is Tera changing??? Has The Boy’s past swayed his way of thinking and given him new morals. I feel a struggle coming on with some character development. I absolutely love the way it is shown in Tera’s body language that he is feeling empathy or guilt perhaps? His actions feel desperate and much less strategic. The way he moves when around the boy versus anyone else seems much more relaxed. I could go on about how beautiful your art is and how much I love the character designs (though the boy had a belly chain on for a second and almost fell off my chair!) for another thousand words but I will stop here for today! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Hey Pico! I’ve really loved discovering your work this year and it’s been such a highlight for me every month🥹 You put so much heart into everything you make, and it’s made me curious about you as the amazing artist behind it Would you ever consider doing a small, casual Q&A or like a silly “small facts about me” sometime? Nothing serious or pressured at all , just something fun and casual where we could learn a bit more about you (if you’d liked that of course! I know some people don’t like doing it and that’s ok🐰).

Couldn't help but think of this comic when I heard the news about the Louvre jewels heist. Was Black Death involved 🤔

I read your comment)) and I'm also waiting for Pico to make a post like this 😭🤗 I really miss the times when he used to do this column: you ask me questions, I give you answers.
