If you look at all the previews from Chapter 16, you can tell this chapter was INTENSE haha. Romantically speaking.They’ve never been this close before. I think what might throw readers off is that a lot of the romance happens through pretty small gestures, the way they grab each other, the way they touch. It’s not, ‘Look, they’re kissing! HOLDING HANDS?!"

Here I really wanted a playful kind of closeness. You always want to play with the person you love, uh?

I don’t know if Tera has ever pulled the Boy in like that before? Can't remember. I love the idea! I’ve been wanting to add that little interaction for a loooong time, because it's so sexy imo. And seeing him hover over the Boy afterward, positioning himself above him, reminded me of one of the very first illustrations I ever did of them on DeviantART. It’s so old now haha. They’ve changed so much!

Close your eyes for two seconds and put yourself in the Boy’s place.My heart would be POUNDING. Like, about to burst-

You can see it on his face, Tera’s attention doesn’t leave him unaffected anymore. He blushes all the time haha

And of course it ends on a slightly absurd scene, just the way I like it. I don’t know why, but the idea of the Boy replying to his uncle with something like “...I hear the banging too,” felt way funnier than just saying, “Nah I didn’t hear anything.”His brain works fast hahaha
