It's a shame that US customs are destroying such a wonderful thing you've been doing :( It's terrible how so many of us outside the USA rely on US customers only for things like this to collapse and make life harder for so many artists. Would you ever consider continuing any physical tiers for other countries? I've never been able to use your secret shop because my country was never available so the 6 month rewards were a joy

Would you at all consider keeping this tier for countries outside of the US? I really hope you'll have the pretty sparkly stickers and postcards available somewhere! Thank you! Redbubble has a new hologram sticker 🤔 The stickers I make are custom stickers that require a lot of work- so redbubble sticker won't be as high quality as those I made on Patreon. However, I also have a lot of other products I can't make, like bags.

I've been monitoring the situation for over a month, seeing so many international artists suffer has been heartbreaking. I'm sure I'll be able to make postcards, and I hope to be able to produce stickers as well when the situation improves. If I can, I'll try to send letter, but for now, I can't 100% guarantee what next year will be like, so I'm making this announcement 🥹 (I wish there had been more time or changes before the decision, but I didn't want to make promises of rewards that I couldn't keep...!)

Currently, customs duties are constantly changing, so it's impossible to predict the next six months, but the Korean Post Office has also established a system for US customs (where the tax is collected in advance and paid by the seller), and once the situation stabilizes, I will be able to reopen my Secret Shop for US residence :D I am constantly updating stickers on Redbubble. There are probably quite a few already available. If you have any designs you're looking for/find, please let me know by a message, I'll check.

Like would it be a possible reward for the octopus tier to recieve a thank you postcard from you every so often (depending on printing costs/stamp costs)? Among physical stores, Redbubble offers the highest margins for me . However, there are some differences in quality between products, so check the reviews and order from the one that is best for you!😁

Thank you, Kiesa! That's what the "Thank You letter" I mentioned feels like. Still, I'd like to use an envelope if possible... It's probably fine in other countries, but in the US, the information isn't definitive. (I asked the post office, but they said they can't give a definitive answer because the US government's standards are changing.) Therefore, I can't 100% guarantee Patreon physical rewards after six months, so I had to change the current method. Nothing is confirmed yet, but if possible next yea, I'll probably try shipping 'thank you letter' to my long-time backers first as a test. I'll have to see if they get returned then 💦

Yes, that's exactly right. As far as I know, stamp mail isn't duty-free. About five years ago, there was a major change in the US postal system (under the same administration), and I had half of US letters returned to me without reason 😅 So ​​I had to revamp the system at that time too. I created the 'octopus tier' that time. By American standards, it seems like the same person sending the same letter is considered kind of spam 😅 According to the new US policy, items under $100 are still duty-free, but one person is prohibited from sending the same item.

I've been an Octopus since 2019, this is heartbreaking, but I totally understand your position and you can't be expected to keep doing this when the situation keeps changing every few weeks! Prices for everything are getting crazy here in the states, I am having to downsize a lot of my patreon memberships at this point to help keep friends afloat and I feel terrible for the position so many artists are in now. I'm glad i drawing sea creatures and small animals. I used to think my favorite animals were a bit out of the mainstream, but through my art, I've met people who share my love for animals, and I'm having a wonderful time as an artist. I'll be making thank-you cards in a few month, and unless something comes up, I think I'll be able to send them to Norway in an envelope next spring like before😁 Thank you!
