[wallpaper] Witchy crows / [WIP] Witchy crows

[ idea sketch ] Spooky season Doodle

I finished another sketch of the Witchy crows I drew for Spooky Season.

It's become a series of crows.

There's a flashing light effect, and the GIF is looped, so I'm warning you in advance that this WIP might be a bit dazzling!

I actually played it so many times while working on it that my eyes hurt 😅

It was fixed in the final version, but please keep this in mind when viewing!

First, I drew the base image. This is the process of completing the image~

Here's a concept sketch for the animation.

It's a witch, but not too spooky.

I tried to give it a sparkly, fantastical, and magical feel.😅

From here on out, it's a purely labor-intensive process. I add movement, step by step.

A crow raising its head.

Gathering light for magic.

My eyes hurt so much at this point 😅

When create animations, I keep replaying my work, and even with my eyes closed, it feels like the lights are flashing lol.

I added a magic circle here.

And ultimately, I decided to give the flash effect some opacity to make it less dazzling. Although the dramatic effect is reduced, the health of the eyes is much improved.

I'll update it later with an mp4 lockscreen, but then I'll probably remake it as a loop version, removing the part that gathers light in the front.

The magic circle has been changed to rotate more smoothly and slowly.(12 frames).

A glowing effect has also been added (12 frames).

And the baby crow has also been animated (4 frames).

The baby crow is still learning magic and is very excited to see the wonderful magic.

I added some sparkle to the magic wand.

And I made the crow's eyes smile.

I added some light and shadow to the crow's belly. (12frames)

Can you see the difference?

It takes more work, but I always feel a sense of accomplishment when I create an animated gif 😁💕 Thanks for reading!

Live/static wallpaper will probably take a few more days!

There are some things to fix. I'll also update mp4 of the witchy crows looking at the orbs at that time. Thank you!

Oh... I'm so jealous that there's a family of crows! I've heard that crows and magpies sometimes repay the favor 🥹 I hope something magical and wonderful happens to you someday 💕

1. I drew Mandarin using 10-sided symmetry. 2. 360/10 = 36 degrees I used 12 frames. 36/12 = 3 degrees I shifted each of the 12 layers by 3 degrees! And I looped it.

Thank you for liking this crow series! 😁 It was fun to color it because it was one of my favorite color combination!

Thank you! 🖤🖤🖤 Are you planning on making more crow content?
