[ wallpaper ] Happy jerboas

I originally planned to draw more!

But I ended up drawing nine.

To compare the brightness, I converted the color thumbnails to black and white and made this chart.

I originally started with the top left color, but as I added more details to the jerboas, I felt the character wasn't quite visible.

I decided to use the difference in saturation to make the character more visible. So, in the final step, I changed the background to a blue tone.

The colors of the stardust-like sand also changed from warm tones to cool tones. And I think this one fits the concept of night better.

The Jerboa's tail tip is a rich black with a white cluster of hair at the tip of the tail. This contrast of the real animal is more pronounced than in my drawing. However, to prevent the tail from being more visible than the face or distracting the viewer, I've softened the contrast between the black and white.

The whiskers are painted white, some are painted black. I usually unify them when I draw them, but this time I intentionally drew them differently.

I drew two Baluchistan Pygmy jerboas to emphasize their small size.

Thank you!
