I mainly focus on aquatic life, but I like all other animals on land.

Sometimes I thinking that it would be nice to draw a variety of animals that I have never drawn before.

One of them is a bat.

I drew mice sometimes but I didn't think I had any memory of drawing a bat🧐

I have subject list for the animals I want to draw next, including aquatic life, and I'm curious to see which ones you guys most want to see.

** Of course I have a very long list, these are just the lists I thought I would like to draw in 2020. 😉

Hamsteeeeeeer /o/ hamsteeeeeeeeer

Aluvian

Oh gosh I love your bats! I have a little family of them that nests right outside my house. I love seeing them fly around at night.

pikaole

So, where you live, you can see bats at night and dolphins during the day, right? In the next life, I will live in your neighbor's house.

Aluvian

That is correct! AND YES! Please be my neighbor in the next life. We'll have so much fun seeing all the animals.

Zimpirate

Team gecko ❤️

pikaole

😌💚💜I'm so excited just thinking about it!

pikaole

they are popular now🥰

HyenaFanatic

My Great Grandma lived in Washington state when I was growing up. During the day she'd have tons of hummingbirds that would visit and then at night, bats! One of the coolest things to see. Amazing to see the different ways nature evolved flight.

pikaole

Oh... Washington was a city image to me with the White House and monuments... it's really cool there are hummingbirds and bats. It's an incredibly enviable combination me, who lives in Seoul😭😭There is a president's house, but no hummingbirds and can't see bats in night😭😭

Spike Milligan

There are two Washingtons. One is a state, one is the city with the monuments. :) HyenaFanatic lives in the state!

pikaole

Ohhhhhhh I see! I just looked it up in the encyclopedia. and I found that Washington's symbol animal is the orca, and people can often see orca along the coast. what a nice place!

karhofzoe

i love bats!!! they're like sky dogs!!! i once went cave exploring and saw so many 💙💙💙

pikaole

Sky dogs! Exploring cave!? sound so awesome! It seems like it's been a long time since I last went to the cave😭 I want to see them again in the cave someday in the future.

pikaole

Ahaha seems everyone love bats XD Thanks for vote Amber-cakes!

HyenaFanatic

Yes! That's how my family differentiates the state and the US capital. "Washington state" (for the state) or "Washington" (for Washington D.C.)

Jennifer Maddux

Would love to see any of them, but I voted for bats because they're just kind of especially neat to me.

pikaole

Thanks for vote Jennifer! Haha Everyone seems to like bats. Including me :)

pikaole

Oh Oh Oh now I can see you wrote 'Washington state' at the first comment! 😂Sorry for misunderstanding. I learned more about America today.

msabutera

The bats are SO cute!!

eggrolled

I would love to see more bats, mostly because we need more to show that they are awesome and very important creatures :) and super adorable!

steph

ohhh my god the bats are so cuuute! when i was little, during the summer my dad and i would sit in the backyard when it got dark and watch the bats fly around as they came out

Kelly

Your bat sketches are sooo cute!! The little cotton ball Honduran white bats—!!!😭😭💖💖💖 I think it would be awesome for you to draw bats if you never did it before, and they’re so under appreciated! :D

Amber

Those bats are freaking ADORABLE!

O

Any of these would be cute to see in your style but Polypterans are my fave fw fish

Rhee's Clutch

there is only one step and its crab the batties are cute, and so are the mice but CRABS there is no comparison

HyenaFanatic

No worries! I used to confuse the 2 also!

KiwiSuki

Bats would be so cute!!! And the ones you drew are beyond adorable.

pikaole

yes they are🥰 will draw soon!

pikaole

Yes, they are important and deserving animals. The next task is to draw the bats, so we can see more!:)

pikaole

Ah! It's really cool to have such an experience. It's so cute to imagine an image of two sitting waiting for a bat🥰

pikaole

Haha, yes, drawing an animal I've never drawn is a challenge, but it's always worth it. The animals I can draw are expanded, and I can learn more about them through study :) Honduran white bats really look like cotton balls. Did you see the pictures they gathered among the leaves? So cute.

pikaole

Thank you so much Amber🥰💕💕

pikaole

Ah! I actually voted my own vote to that fish😭 What is your favorite polypterus?

pikaole

😂The cuteness of crustaceans is something that mammals don't have. I drew crabs many times, but I would like to draw several species in one frame someday in near future!

pikaole

Thanks for saying that KiwiSuki! 🥰💕💜💚

Ashley Almond

Oh my god bats please!!!! Please do the bulldog bat

pikaole

bulldog bat 🙆‍♀️🙆‍♂️👌👍

freerabies

love those bat sketches!! definitely want to see more of those 🦇💜

Kelly

I think it’s so wonderful that you study and learn about so many animals when you draw them. And yes, they look like little bugs or mochi!😍😍😍😍

pikaole

It's entirely possible thanks to you and Patreons :) 🥰

pikaole

Got it! many people voted for bats, so will draw soon :D

Sasha

Well this is hard! Rats and bats are both my favourite animals! :D I've had 4 rats as pets so far and we have lots of bats here in the summer. I'd loooove for you to draw both, but I'm very happy with either one. <3

pikaole

Oh, what kind of Rats did you have? If possible I want to draw everything someday. This is just a matter of order😁

Sasha

I had albino rats! They were so clever and affectionate <3

pikaole

Oh🥰💕Albino always seems to be lovely. Pink eyes are just love 💕

Rhee's Clutch

🦀I look forward to crustacean domination🦀

pikaole

😂😂😂👌👌👌

senkoushoujo

Your polls are always so difficult to vote on !!! Everything is always so GOOD 😆💕💕💕 I LOVE bats !! But rats/hamsters are also really cute..... Geckos too... Aahh.... Speaking of rats ... Not sure if you've done this yet .. but I'd love to see like ... a series of the 12 zodiac animals in your style ☺️☺️☺️💕💕💕

pikaole

Ahaha, zodiac! I love 12 zodiac. I haven't done it yet. I have drawn illustrations for the Year of the Dog and Year of the Rooster, but I have never worked on a series. Next year is the year of the cow, so it would be nice to draw a cow :)

Nemo Whelsky

Ratttssssss, gosh they are so damn cute. One of my favorite pets I've ever owned. But... I also love crabs... And geckos... And bats... ;O;

pikaole

Thanks Asche! I like them all too. I would like to draw all possible. Which rat do you like best?

Nemo Whelsky

I'm big partial to hooded as my first rat was a black and white hooded one. I also love the dumbo eared rats, they're too cute ;O;

pikaole

Oh, both are super cute rats XD If I draw rats this year, I will try to include them :D

Rhi Fleet

I have pet rats, so I hope you draw them eventually. :) I would love a full Galaxy theme, but any pictures would be nice to see ❤️

pikaole

Yes, it would be nice if I draw a rat someday! What kind of rat do you have?

Rhi Fleet

I have three boys! A Russian blue blaze, a black-eyed siamese, and a silvermane. :) They're the best things in my life ❤️

pikaole

Oh got it! they have cute nose pattern :) I wrote them down on my notepad. If I draw rats later, I'll include them.

Rhi Fleet

Omg you don't have to! I would be so happy if I saw them in your art ❤️

pikaole

2020 is the year of the mouse. so I thought it would be nice if i draw rats earlier this year, but I missed the timing. Anyway, I will be drawing all the list on poll in the end. It's just a matter of order🥰 Thanks Rhi!
