Mining Town (Patreon)

[40x40] - Day & Night Variants

On the base of the mountain chain lies the small town of Breyherd. This town came to be as mining caravans set up came more and more, until it became a permanent fixture. This town's life begins and ends with the Silver Mine, when veins are rich the town livens up, and becomes practically vacant when yields decline. Food is scarce cause of the barren landscape so miners trade various precious metals they find for necessary resources.

The Mining guilds run local law enforcement. The population is diverse, as there are many migrant workers who are Dwarven, Gnomish, Lizardfolk, and various others.

The mines themselves can be quite hazardous; deep mountain dwelling creatures find their way into the bore tunnels.
