I’m am so psyched on this MAMAMOO journey you’re on and that you’ll get to react to everything MAMAMOO! This Weekly Idol appearance was in 2015, so they’ve already been around on tv shows already. During their introductions, they had Solar sing Whitney Houston because during her many auditions, Solar used to sing I Will Always Love You. There’s an awesome rendition she sings on her solo appearance of Yu Huiyeol’s Sketchbook. Also, Wheein likes to tease her about singing that song and does a funny impression of her singing it. Solar went to college to study being a flight attendant. She was advised to get these 3-course certifications to help her: recreation leader, laughter therapist, and fun leadership. Even though she thinks it’s not of any use, it definitely is a laughing point when her certifications are brought up during variety shows. Jeonju is a 3 hour drive south of Seoul. Hwasa has said many times that her family was not financially well off growing up. Her parents were always working and she would find ways to get their attention. She turned to singing and appeared in competitions so they would come. She said that even though they were poor, her family has always showered her with love growing up and that explains why she’s very loving. At the time of this show, I believe Hwasa was either talking to someone or had a boyfriend. She has stated that she was with her ex-boyfriend, who was the inspiration for her song Twit, for about 2 1/2 years when she was already an idol. She also said she was pursuing this relationship for about a year before dating. This was revealed during her appearance on a show during their Egotisic era. You can see Hwasa without makeup on her variety show, I Live Alone (once you get to it). Her appearance on that show is what got her praise and turned the views of many people. She’s very honest and real in that show and people started to really fall in love with the person she is outside of work. She’s still an active cast member on the show and she has won multiple awards from it. That show is actually one of my favorite variety shows, especially when she’s on it. She will sell out anything that she eats or uses on that show. And you’re very welcome for the spreadsheet! Anything to help fellow Moos out! I’m loving the journey already! And that’s what Solar was doing before becoming an idol? Could you imagine if she never auditioned... my goodness

I'm so excited for the patreon, you're already so active and getting into the mamamoo content. There are definitely some shows where mamamoo is shy and others where they are very comfortable and outgoing, but it's always a joy to see the different sides of them, regardless of whether they hype it up for the camera or not. I'm glad I subscribed before April, you deserve it!
