State of mind layering 🤤

Rod Lewis

The revised glitchy drum/vocoder tutorial we talked about. Maybe with a different Vocoder. M Vocoder? Maybe with a different plugin to Buffeater like Infiltrator or something? Just a thought, I don't know what plugins you have but I always thought that was a sick technique that could be expanded on/updated.

Moore Tutorials neuro style disphonia, state of mind, prdk, zombie cat,.. : synth, bass, layering, melo, ambient pad, reese, arp, And arrangement 😁

A tutorial on how to manage high frequencies in bass, because we often talk about the lower end of the spectrum. But I find it hard to manage high frequencies sometimes with all the distortions!

Abstract bass creating in the likes of SIMULA & SMG. I

For me, I find that I learn most from sound design videos in which you share your thought process about how to achieve a specific vibe or goal and how you go about and do it in a way that makes it possible for me to practice this technique in a daw. You are doing these already so it is more of the same for me but with different techniques / creative use of plugins, etc....

Just checked their songs and wow! These are crazy, thank you for mentioning!

Jamie Galves

Heck yeah. They have the sickest bass. Simple beats but very abstract. SMG has a tutorial on sample genie where he makes a decent patch and freezes and flattens to audio and uses the clip editor and messes with the formants and reverses some bits until he has a good idea flow. He loves the rift plugin as well. Cheers brother

RegunMusic

Yes, bro. Nice sound design of that reece. But I’m reefering to the layering of the project. How they arrange their tracks

As i said, billain comb filter basses. Also whatd be really great but possibly just a shitload pf work would be a comprehensive series of videos on mixing. Like start with a loop with a few elements and then walk through how you mix it, why you do it that way etc. I think that topic would rly benefit from showing the process etc instead of walking back through a finished chain

The Reese bass that comes in at the end of the 4th bar on your Phase Percussive Tutorial. Please

love the techy neuro stuff you’ve been covering lately (vowel and phace). Awesome stuff man!

letsynthesize

Is it something popular now? I dont really listen this kind of stuff!

letsynthesize

I already covered it in an older burr oak video. The hard reeses called one.

letsynthesize

I am not pro in mixing but i have some cool tips for sure! Good idea!

I would love to see how you bring movement into the basses. I'm struggeling on rhythmical patterns of basses. Also what drum patterns to use, for what type off bass since i think there is a big difference. Amen break parts for long basses etc.

letsynthesize

I think today's video will be the answer for you! Also have you seen the rolling bass short I made last week? That might help you as well!

Andy

Yeah man i just saw it right after i wrote this message.. A deeper dive would be a perfect help.

Worried Brick

Would love to see a tutorial of general sound design, like explaining your thought process as you are coming up with basslines, why you are doing what you are doing etc.
