Yeh it can be handy sometimes. But honestly I don't really use it. I find it easier and faster to just drop a free stereo widener plugin on busses or groups or even sometimes on master. The reason is I find it hard and honesly unneccessary to have certain frequencies louder on the sides than mids. I think it sounds a lot better if I just boost the sides on the whole thing instead of boosting 5k Hz of a reese bass on the sides. Makes no sense to me honestly. But adding a bit more width on the master defo makes sense to me. What's your opinion on it?
