PTX is the Assembly language of nVidia GPU's. In this video we look at how to jump from regular CUDA C into inline PTX.

In this video we'll look at how to use inline PTX in CUDA kernels. PTX is the assembly language for nVidia's GPU's. It's a low level language which, like any assembly language, give the programmer complete control over the device. In this video we only look at the basics of calling a PTX instruction from a GPU kernel.
