Hello Patreons!

Many many thanks for your continued support over the years. It's meant the absolute world to us, and we'd not be here if it wasn't for you.

We wanted to give you all a heads up that we're going to be revamping our Patreon benefits soon. And not Blizzard soon. June 2nd soon. Why?

Well, if we can be really blunt, we don't think we've done this right -- obviously there's a lot of support out there for us, but we're not creating enough value for you. You’re putting food on our table and you should be getting more back. More content, more access, more cool stuff, etc…

What does this mean for you? It means that everyone who is giving at $5 or above is going to get some really good benefits; like special content and a totally-revamped-and-easy ads free experience on the site.

More soon, and thank you again for your continued support!

- Adam, Liz, Anne, and the entire Blizzard Watch crew

Awesome. I am doing $5, but rarely listen to a podcast or even go to the site at this point. I mostly am all about you guys when waiting for a new X-pack. But I am willing to support you in between, so you are there when I watch your stuff a lot! Cheers for being there all of these years. <3

At this point I just want to find out what my "Super secret legendary benefit that we're still working on" is. :-) j/k Seriously, I'm just thankful you guys still want to do this. Your podcasts are the highlight of my busy week (even the behind the scenes!) , and really mean a lot to me. Thanks for all you do! It is really appreciated!!!

5 bucks for 2 podcasts is a steal, I love the work you guys do, thank you so much for continuing to keep us entertained and informed.

$5 for a website I visit daily, plus podcasts, has always been more than reasonable to me, but I'm interested in what you've got planned.

Matthew

I'm just glad that I get The Queue every day.

Just in case you're reading the comments for feedback: I used to read both wowinsider and blizzardwatch.com all the time. Now the ads on the website can make it almost unreadable, depending on which ads are up. For me personally I don't feel the content there is worth paying $5 a month to read, and I don't want to use an ad-blocker for ethical reasons, so currently I'm giving the blizzardwatch.com site a miss. Reddit and mmo-champion are picking up the slack quite well, so I don't have a huge problem with this. I really love both Lorewatch and the Blizzard Watch Podcast. They alone are worth chipping into the Patreon for. I'm not suggesting that you need change anything - there are more people here than me and they'll probably have different opinions - but if you were, I'd appreciate more focus on the podcasts and less on the website.

Actually I very rarely read the website, but I listen to all the podcasts on my drives and plane trips. Not being able to download the Patreon specific podcasts directly to the iPhone is my biggest pain point. I download them on my computer and transfer them to my phone so I can listen to them while flying.

I like that you're increasing activity here, but TBH I'm mostly just interested in the podcast. Can I disable the emails for the other posts somewhere?

Josh

I'll be honest: I was getting worried that y'all were quietly going to slide into other jobs and eventually BW would be no more. I'm happy to see active steps toward increasing benefits for supporters, and I hope it gets your monthly revenue back above the $8k mark.

Nevertheless

I'm excited! And hopefully I can finally get my ads free thing going (won't recognize my email :/). Thanks for all you guys do. :)
